~Dream~

I'm walking through the woods, but I don't have my bow and arrows. I'm also not wearing my normal hunting outfit, instead I'm wearing a beautiful orange dress that reaches the floor. I continue to walk when I hear something that sounds like screaming. I pick up my pace and head in the direction of the noise. When I get closer, I recognize the voice and my face goes slack before I screech her name. I pick up my skirt and start sprinting in the direction of Prim's voice. Once I reach a clearing the screams become deafening and when I look up I see a jabberjay. I instantly know what is happening, but since I have no weapon to kill the horrid creature, I clasp my hands over my ears and scream in an attempt to block out the heart-wrenching screeches. The noise becomes muffled, but is not entirely blocked out. After a couple minutes I hear an angel calling my name."Katniss! Katniss, wake up!" Peeta yells. 'Wake up? I'm dreaming?' I think. "Katniss, please! Please, wake up!"

~End dream~

I open my eyes and am instantly staring into Peeta's crystal blue eyes, but they look different. 'Because he has tears in his eyes!' A voice in the back of my mind shouts. "Oh, Peeta," I hoarsly say as I pull him into an embrace. "Are you okay? You were screaming and I thought you were in pain and-" I cut him off with a kiss. "I'm okay now, it was just a nightmare," I say when I pull away. He nods and sits back down in the chair next to the bed.
