Day out
(Okay, in these next few chapters I will be skipping a few weeks, so now Leah is 5 weeks. Her belly picture is on the side.)
Leah's POV:
Harry has a free day today, so he decided to take me out. I was finally starting to show, and as usual Harry just had to take a picture this morning. I slipped on a dark green long sleeve shirt with a tan coat to go over it along with a tan scarf, I surprisingly fit into my favorite ripped skinny jeans with ankle high gray boots.
Harry and I had been walking around town for a few hours now and most of the time I had been complaining about him needing a new pair of jeans. To my surprise he had agreed so we had bought him three new pairs along with some new shirts. He had insisted I buy some new things, but unlike him I didn't have holes in all my clothes so I didn't need anything.
"Are you hungry?" Harry asked looking down at me.
I nodded, "A little. Any good place close?"
"Yeah. There is this small cafe across the street if you want to try it." He suggested, just at the mention of food my mouth started to water. I nodded my head and he grabbed my hand and led me across the street.
Even though I had my sunglasses on, I saw a few girls off to the side that were whispering and look at Harry and me, I'm sure he saw them too.
Harry pushed the door open, making the small bell over head ring, and ushered me in. Harry told me his personal favorites from this place which I soon agreed to try the tuna salad sandwich with a glass of raspberry tea. Harry told me he would order for us so I went to grab the open table in the corner by the window.
I pulled out my phone and quickly scanned through Tumblr, Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter. Something interesting caught my eye as I was scrolling through my time-line. I let out a small groan just as Harry approached the table.
"What's wrong?" He set my drink in front of me and then sat down in the chair across from me.
"I'm pretty sure there will be a mob of girls in a few minutes." I rolled my eyes and looked at him.
"Isn't there always?" He chuckled I rolled my eyes again as I pulled up the tweet to show him. As he scanned through the words a smile slowly appeared on his face.
"Hash-tag crash Harrys date?"
"With a picture of us and the address of this cafe." I commented, sending Harry into fits of laughter. "Your fans are freakishly obsessed."
"You have no room to talk," He said, trying to regain his breath, "You use to be the exact same way."
"Yeah, I still can't believe I use to spend every chance I got to spam you for a follow." I blushed and look down.
"But just think if you hadn't come to that show, or had that sign, or tweeted that one tweet I would have never seen you, I would have never followed you, we would have never met, and we wouldn't be where we are now." Harry's tone was serious as he replayed the story of how we met.
"Yeah, that sign was stupid." I laughed and looked up at him.
"Well, I loved it." He smirked and grabbed my hands.
"You know I think it's still at my parents house." I said and he smiled. Just then a waitress came by to give us our food. We muttered a quick thanks before digging in. I only took one bite of my sandwich and I agree, this is by far the best cafe I have ever been to.
"So how has all the shopping gone?" Harry asked with a mouth full of food. I narrowed my eyes at him due to is lack of manners, and with out saying a word he knew what was on my mind.
"Pretty good. We purchased that crib along with a chair, oh, and the girls just insisted on buying some bibs that can be for a girl or boy." I answered and wiped my mouth. "What do the boys hope it is?"
"It's split." He smiled. "Well, I know Louis is dead set on a boy, I think Niall is too. As for Zayn and Liam I'm not sure. What do the girls want?"
I shook my head and laughed, "Danielle and Perrie for sure want a girl, but Mady and Avery said they will be over joyed no matter what." I took a breath, "So its about 6 to 4, girl winning?" I smirked.
"Ok, this is officially a contest." Harry smiled and I nodded.
"So we wont see what it is, no one will." Harry nodded, "And through out the whole pregnancy they can change their minds between boy and girl, but the last week its over." I suggested the rules to this new game, "And we can have a wipe board on the fridge and they can sign their name under what they think it is."
"I think we should tell some one though, I mean how else will the room get finished." He pointed out one flaw.
"What about Gemma and Anne?" They can come over and work on the room when ever they can and we can give them they key, so none of us are tempted to get any hints."
"That sounds good." He smiled and so did I before taking another bite of my sandwich. We sat in a comfortable silence for a few minutes. When I looked past Harry and out the window, I could see groups of girls flying towards the cafe. I just shook my head trying to ignore them.
"When is your appointment?" Harry randomly asked.
"Next week, it's just to check and make sure the baby is okay. You coming?" I asked.
He scoffed, "Of course I am. I will be at every single one." I heard the firm promise behind his words as he grabbed my hand across the table once again. I nodded in understatement before he let go of my hand.
"Do you need a refill?" He asked. I looked down at my glass, I dont even remember drinking it all.
"Yes please." I blushed. He smiled at me, grabbing my cup and walking back to the front for a refill.
I smiled to myself and looked down at the table. How did I ever get so lucky?
Harry's POV:
I was in line to get Leah's drink behind a tall brunette woman. It was hard ot to smile as I thought about this game we just came up with.
I also can't believe its a week until her appointment, an we finally get to see out child.
I suddenly felt someone stumble into me. I looked up and noticed it was the girl in front of me, she had turned around and tripped head first into me.
"Oh I'm so sorry." she stuttered in embarrassment.
"It's ok." I push up on her shoulders helping her get stable on her feet.
"Thanks." she muttered as she wiped off her shirt, as if she had dirt on it. "Can I get your name?" Her high pitched voice asked.
"Harry?" I starred her down skeptically.
"I'm Clair." She held out her hand for me to shake, as I grabbed her hand she stepped close to me and whispered in my ear, "I have a feeling I'll be seeing you later." She pulled away and dropping my hand.
"I have a fiance." I stated.
"I know." She simply answered, brushing past me and out the door with her pony swaying side to side.
Was she just flirting with me? I shook the image of her out of my head and stepped up to the counter. Just then her words replayed in my head.
I have a feeling I'll be seeing you later
