i'm not sure whether it's called a blend / manip edit by the design community, but scrapbook felt like the best way to name it and these styles have been used so many times on wattpad that i decided to try it out as well ✨

THE SCOOP?

✦ To be frank, this is (kinda) not my first scrapbook edit as I was making phone wallpapers in this style on Canva during my Wattpad hiatus in 2021-2022.

( Half of them are inspired by Taylor Swift albums 'cause why not? Her entire discography is the most aesthetic one I've seen till date, period. )

✦ I was scrolling through DeviantArt whilst looking for resources for the "not an angel" cover and came across this png pack by Southside and TS sitting on the chair in such a Style-ish pose. This sparked an idea in my head for a scrapbook cover. Also, it was from the Lover Era (my most fav album) so... I had to!

✦ I have a Wattpad Journal on this account for FAQs / QnAs / Tags but no one does them anymore, so the journal's been lying in the grave ever since 2022. RIP. 🪦💐 I have decided to revive it with updates on my writing and designing projects AND maybe, the "Don't You All Love It" talk show. (if yk yk)

✦ I first came across this Scrapbook style through naoella_ who taught me basically, everything I know about ibis PaintX and graphic designing. 🥹💙

✦ The cover was made in approximately 3 hours (excluding resource searching time). The elements I used are mostly random stuff I added from png packs I had already saved, and speak most to my personality.

don't ask me why i'm suddenly challenging myself to try styles i haven't tried before- idk the answer to this myself 😂😭

i guess the design block i was stuck in, for the last 2 months pushed me to try new things as there aren't any graphic contests/wars going on right now, to challenge myself, except mine.

but yeah, this was definitely a fun challenge as i let myself flow freely and it is highly RECOMMENDED to try these scrapbook styles once in your graphic design journey as it reminds you why you started designing in the first place 💙✨
