End of school

*Kimmie's POV*

I walked to the busses slowly, not excited to get on. So far, I was tuning out a rambling Tambren, a screaming Tabby and a pest named Sam. Chris and Lucy were the only ones not adding to my bad day. Emma was already on her bus going home.

"Guys, please stop." I asked, in my calm but scary voice.

(A/N she talks normal now because she's warmed up to them a little.)

The others stopped annoying the nerves off of me to stare at me.

"What's wrong?" Tambren asked, politely.

"I been studying for MAP and ACT testing. I stay up late reading textbooks and that's been giving me headaches. All of the screaming and annoying me just adds onto it. I'm sorry if I'm not fully functional and happy today." I said, with a huff.

Slowly, Lucy and Chris walked away, knowing this wasn't going to end well.

Tambren nodded in respect, but Tabby's mouth dropped to the floor.

"You read textbooks?!?! And its not even time for the tests. Its the beginning of the year, for Pete's sake." Tambren asked.

"I like to prepare early." I told her.

She looked exasperated and said

"You need to live a little."

"I'm living right now." I retorted.

She stomped away and Sam came up and poked me in the cheek.

"Do you need me for something?" I asked him.

"No. I just like poking people." He told me.

He continued to poke me until I reached my bus. He left with a big wave. I waved back, kinda tired. Tambren came up to me and asked

"Hey, can we have a sleepover?"

"Why" I asked.

"Why not." She told me.

I nodded my head yes and she ran off to her bus.

'What could go wrong? Its just a simple get together hosted at my house.' I thought as I got onto my bus.

I sat in an abandon seat, as usual, and opened up a textbook.

'Let's get started studying.' I thought as I lost myself in the book.

After my stop came, my neighbor poked my hand, like he said he would in his agreement, and we got off the bus.

'Now, to tell mother that I have friends coming over.' I thought as I sighed.

*Time skip* Later that night

'Ding dong!' The bell rang.

"Mama, I'll get it." I shouted as I ran to the door. I opened it up to see
Tambren
Emma
Tabby
And Lucy

"Hey, what are you guys doing here?" I asked, really surprised but my pokerface still on.

Tambren said, while smiling.

"Well, they wanted to tag along too, so I gave them a ride."

I internally moaned, but I let them in.

"Mama, we have unexpected guests." I shouted, startling my friends.

They looked at me in shock when my mom came gracefully descending down the stairs. She had medium brown hair and a pretty blue hue in her eyes. She was meudium sized and kinda tall as she ran up to my friends to shake their hands.

"Welcome to our lovely home. I'm Silvia, and it'd nice to finally meet all of you." My mother said, enthusiastically.

My dad briskly walked into the room. "And I'm Dalton. It's a pleasure to meet you." My dad told my friends. He has short brown hair and darkish blue eyes. He was really tall and well built from his time in the military.

My friends got acquainted with my parents when suddenly, screaming and shouting could be heard down the hall.

"It's mine!"

"No, I want it!"

"Let me have a turn."

The yelling continued until I had enough of it. I walked closer to the room where the yelling was and screamed

"Knock it off you two, I have guest over!!"

My friends stumbled back, not expecting my voice to get so loud. The screaming stopped and two kids came out of the room. One with disgust, the other with a big grin.

"Tsk, Hi. I'm April. This werdo's sister." April said as she pointed at me.

"KIMMIE!!!! I MISSED YEW!!!" My little brother screamed.

He ran to me, with his arms opened wide for a hug. I picked him up and swung him around, laughing with him.

"I missed you too, bubba. This is my brother, Zeke."

He gave a small wave and put his head on my chest.

"Aww. Someone's sleepy." I told him.

He nodded and went to father.

When I looked at my friends, they were all playing with my dog or my cat.

"Hey, guys. Let's go to the back room." I tell the group.

"Bye puppy."

"Bye kitty."

My friends said.

I rolled my eyes at them as I pulled them to the pizza. They all grabbed a slice and we went to the backroom. When we got there, their jaws dropped to the floor.

"Welcome to the hangout." I exclaimed.

The room had two couches, a flat screen TV, a big bed, a fridge plus frezer, a bathroom, and a microwave.

I looked at their shocked faces and asked

"Movies?"

I pulled out four movies I thought they would like.

We all decided on The prince's bride. And I placed the DVD in.

"Hello, hello, hello. Do you guys want popcorn?" My mother asked, happily.

"Yes!!" Tambren, Tabby, and Emma said.

Lucy shrugged her shoulders.

Mother handed the bowl to Lucy and we all snuggled together to watch the movie.

*time skip*

The movie credits roled by and everyone was asleep, except for me.

I smiled at my friends.

"Thank you, guys." I said to their sleeping expressions.

And I drifted off to sleep.
