I was put into a cage of sorts. After hours of relentless blasting and roaring insults at them, I finally gave up. My ten shot limit was reached. Oh, yeah, since i have and unusual amount of heat, i have a larger shot limit. Anways, back to the story. I was settling down and just about to fall asleep, when the one human, of which i learned to be Snotlout , came in and was trying to tame me. The fool. I just heated up and made my entire body glow red, and he ran away. I just sat there, knowing i couldn't go to sleep here. I looked around at the already boring stone cage. Hah! The stupid human.  He forgot to close the door. I ran out into the bigger cage like thing. For the first time i realized there was metal on the top, and i could easily fit through. I shot out, being careful not to get caught in the metal. Then i saw them. It was that lousy Zippleback and Monstrous Nightmare, heading straight for me, with their stupid humans. And apparently i was staring too long, because i got trapped by them, again. I wriggled and writhed, trting to get out of their grasp. They ended up flying me to a small area with large vikings, and they were all cheering. I ripped through the net once i got in the right position to, and flew away. I saw one of the vikings run off the cliff and jump of it, onto me. I roared and violently shook him off. In the process he grabbed my wing, and we both tumbled down. He ended up landing on my left wing, and me landing on a large boulder. I roared really loud in distress, and pain. I laid there, unable to move because of all the pain i felt. The viking ran away, probably to leave me and get help for themselves. I tried to get up, and failed. When i moved my left wing, i felt pain, shoot through my body. I half whimpered, then stopped myself. If i were to show weakness, i would be seen as easy prey. I roared for help, from anyone but a human. Nothing came. Except Toothless. I growled, only to find he had no rider. He had walked the entire way here, to help me. I admit, he was gorge- No! Don't think like that. She argued with herself. She must not love a pet.

    I heard a distress call and ran through the forest as fast as possible. I knew Snotlout had something to do with this. He was flying around with Hookfang, and he wasn't supposed to. When i saw him carrying the other Nightfury, i was furious. I ran to where the distress call came from. It came from the cove, where i met Hiccup. I ran as fast as i could. I saw her down there, she looked so hurt. I made my way down there and shimmied through the tiny opening. I walked to her. She looked grateful when she saw me, but quickly glared at me. I helped her up and leaned against her broken wing to support it. She growled at him, and then seemed to have understood what he was doing. They then pondered how they were going to get out. The tiny opening wouldn't be useful, seeing as how the female wouldn't be able to go through on her own. We had to stay here. I might as well ask her name. "So... I never really caught your name." He said, hoping she wouldn't stare at him like he was an eel again. She just sighed and answered. "My name... Is Shadow." That answered the question nagging at me, and sent me into a flashback.

          ~FLASHBACK~
  I walked around, lonely and sighed. I was abandon again. My mother had died, and my father shunned me. I was alone. I had taken my own place in the pack. I was the youngest to ever live on my own. My name was DarkFlight. I was a disliked dragon among my species. The only ine that like me was Shadow. We usually spent our days talking or flying alongside eachother. She used to be popular, but I kind of ruined her reputation by just hanging out with her. One day our bond becane so strong, we made a vow to eachother. We vowed that when we came of age, we would be bound as one, and become mates. We never expected what would happen after our short time together. We found our island abandon, dead. We had followed the ship, with the crest of a skrill, and it led us to a place named Berk. We waited until nightfall, and attacked. Shadow attacked a tower, and I watched from the sky. Then I got shot down. I roared for help. No one came. I vowed i would never forget that promise.

    I didn't know what was wrong with him. He suddenly froze, and his eyes were slits. I waved my claw in his face "Earth to Toothless" I said. He looked at me and said "Its me, Darkflight." He said, smiling. I instantly remembered, the promise, the attack, how he was taken away from me. "I-I don't know what to say. I mean, its been years. I-I" He shushed me "I know, I just thought I'd make that clear." He smiled, blissful. Stupid Snotlout.  I thought, jokingly.
