I sat there, thinking. I had never forgotten about DarkFlame, of course. I'd just thought it to be a coincidence that I would meet another. I also probably didn't recognize him, because i was stupidly blind with rage. I should have known. I should have-------- my thoughts were cut off by DarkFlight, or Toothless. "Don't trouble yourself with this, Shadow. At least, not tonight." He said, as if reading my thoughts. "After all these years, you still know me better than anyone." Seriously, when we were kids, it was like he was psychic. "That's because you let me. You're a very reserved dragoness, Shadow." He smiled at me. I never stopped loving him. He is so....... Understanding. I looked into those deep, vivid, green eyes. Then I heard something. Something I didn't want to hear.

    Our eyes were locked together. And suddenly a snap, was heard from above, outside the cove. Snotlout. I thought, I growled. Snotlout sneered, and then I realized, it wasn't Snotlout. It was a bulky teen yes, but he was different. And this wasn't Hookfang, it was a different dragon altogether. They wheeled in a dragon, I didn't recignize it, but Shadow obviously did.

     I couldn't take it anymore, I wouldn't take it. They would not be messing with my friends. I blasted at, which he stupidly didn't expect, and forgetting my wing wasn't working, I tried to fly after him. Biggest mistake of my life. I roared in pain, and Toothless ran over to me immediately. He tried his best, climbing up the rocks, but failed at his attempts. The dragon in the cage woke up. It blasted open its steel cage and roared at the boy, scaring the color out of his face, and sending him running away. The dragon spotted me and roared, a friendly roar, and flew down. We greeted eachother "Stryder, it's been so long." I yelled excitedly, and she returned the greeting, bright and bubbly. "I know, it felt like years, although it was only a few months. Oh, Draconis, I missed you." She said. I looked at DarkFlight, err, Toothless. He looked dumbfounded. I quickly introduced him to my friend. "Toothless, this is my Sand Wraith friend, Stryder. Stryder, Toothless." Shadow introduced. The other two dragons greeted eachother, not quite as giddily as me and Stryder did, but as acquaintances. I looked at Toothless, my long lost love.
