Southern Water Tribe Hospitality

Aang: Let me guess, this will be the worst part.

Yes and no, well at least in my opinion. So let us continue the story shall we?

...

As Zuko followed the warriors deeper into their camp he couldn't help but notice that not once did the warriors take their eyes off him. He felt their eyes staring at the scar upon his face as each warrior kept moving.
As they kept moving he saw that the two men carrying Aang on the stretcher turned and headed into what he thought was the medical tent. Zuko saw that Katara was about to go with them but was stopped by Hakoda who whispered something that Zuko couldn't hear. After another twenty feet or so Hakoda stopped in front of another tent.

"Toph, Prince Zuko if you two would be so kind as to wait in here for the time being," he said almost spitting out in hate as he says prince. Zuko simply nodded and went inside. As he was going in he saw Toph was close behind him.

"This place is going to suck."

Zuko silently nodded with Toph as he sat near the middle of the tent. Looking around he sees that this is just a simple tent with nothing interesting about it. All he could do was sit and wait. As luck would have it Zuko had is pack with him and decided the best thing to do is have a cup of tea while they waited. Toph sat and "watched" him brew a batch of tea in the time being. After a few minutes of brewing Zuko poured the both of them their drinks. Toph took the first sip,

"Gotta say Sparky you're getting pretty good at this," she started, "Not as good as the old man but-" she stopped.

"Toph?" Zuko asked. He was going to ask again but Toph held up her hand.

"Quiet I'm listening."

Zuko sat there waiting for what she has to say, "All those warriors are on their way here," she stated. Zuko nodded.

"Go get Hakoda then." Toph just nodded and jogged out of the tent. Zuko sat there waiting for them to come slowly sipping on his tea before him. He didn't have to wait that long for them to show up. About twenty water tribe warriors surrounded Zuko as he just sat there drinking his tea. A bearded man stood before Zuko.

"I was wondering when you would all show up," Zuko said sipping his tea.

"Sorry but I don't think there's enough tea for everyone."

The man just kept looking on the young prince. They sat there in silence before one of them spoke up.

"Weren't there two of you in here?" he asked. Zuko shrugged his shoulders.

"She's getting help."

All the warriors start laughing, "No one is coming to help you."

Zuko smirked, "Oh she's not getting help for me," he started as he looked around at all the men, "She's getting help for you," he said while sipping his tea.

...

Hakoda sat there listening to his children and the Earth King as they explained what has happened in the last few days. Before he could speak though he was interrupted by Toph.

"Hey I don't want to alarm anyone but all your guys are planning on jumping Zuko," she said in a calm voice. Hakoda, Bato and the water tribe siblings shot right up and ran as fast as they could to the tent. Katara was the first to get in.

"Zuko are…you…alright?" she asked as she looked around. Hakoda was the next to enter and what he saw shocked him. There laying on the floor groaning out in pain are his best warriors. While Zuko sat there in the middle drinking his tea as if nothing happened.

"Ah Hakoda glad you could come. Would you like some tea?" Zuko asked.

"You took out our best fighters," Bato said disbelieving. Zuko looks around.

"If you say so," he said standing up.

"I think I'll go for a stroll around the camp if anyone needs me."

With that Zuko left the tent to the water tribe.

...

Hakoda stood there in disbelief as to how the fire nation prince did all of this. Looking around he notice that there wasn't a single burn or scorch mark anywhere in the tent.

"Hey Hakoda one of the guys are waking up," Bato said.
Hakoda made his way to the warrior.

"Alright what happened here?" he asked. The warrior rubbed the back of his head before answering.

"It's not what it looks like, we only wanted to ruff him up a bit."
Hakoda crossed his arm across his chest, "And look at what happened."

"I'm sorry Hakoda, but you should have seen this kid. He moved like a wild fire and took everyone out without even using a spark of fire," the warrior said.

"Hakoda," Bato began.

"What do you think?" he asked. Hakoda shakes his head.

"From what I've been told and what I've seen today I think he could be a valuable asset to this war," Hakoda started.

"But keep an eye out anyway."

...

Zuko sat on top of the cliff next to Appa watching the water tribe warriors wonder around their camps. Zuko just watched and try to figure out the motives of these warriors and why they do what they do. Zuko laid back and watch the night sky take over as he slowly watch the starts dancing in the night.

...

Aang:... Okay it's worse than before, planning on beating Zuko up? Even if he meant no harm?

Apparently you had forgotten Zuko is a fire bender, and the prince of the fire nation. Of course they wanted to beat him up.

Aang: Well they failed so-

Who says they are not going to try again?

Aang:... Oh...

Anyway hope you guys enjoyed it and see you all in the next chapter.
