Chapter 2
The metro has started running again without my noticing because I was so distracted by its lion. "Yes, I think it's beautiful!" I say a little too enthusiastically and I look into his light brown eyes. He is smiling. "It's still fresh, I just got it yesterday." He squeezes harder in the pole so the tattoo is even tighter. He rubs the tattoo with his other hand. "Yes, I thought so, it still shines so beautifully." Tell me if I have a lot of intelligence there and I turn my gaze. "Do you have tattoos yourself?" He asks. But he immediately seems to regret his question and quickly adds: "Or is that too personal?"
Does he asks this to mock me or not to embarrass me? "No, unfortunately not, but I want one." I lie. Tattoos I always find very tacky, but on this mysterious boy is that totally not the case. -Fitzwilliam Museum stop- sounds through the speakers. The metro slows down while shocking and his hand to the pole touches my hand. I feel a little tingling in my hand that startles me. I move my hand faster than I want to get rid of him.
"I have to get out here, bye." The boy suddenly says very quickly and looks at me. Then he lets go of his hand from the pole. He walks to the doors of the stopped metro. 'Have a nice day!' I shout a little too loudly and the whole crowd in the metro looks at me in surprise. If only I could sink through the ground now. I can feel myself blushing and look quickly at the boy to see what he thinks. He smiles with his teeth bare. I feel a nervous tickle in my stomach. He waves to me and then gets off the subway. The boy walks into the crowd on the platform. I'll probably never see him again. Therefore, I make this time try using and I follow his dark perfect model fitting hair with my eyes. Until he disappears into the crowd. The doors closes hard and I am startled from my thoughts. The metro continues with a shock to the next platform.
