Once arrived at the classroom, I am the first. Of course, who will be at the classroom fifteen minutes in advance. I laugh to myself. Then suddenly I see a boy standing at the back of the hall. For some reason I am reminded of Ethan. I get itches in my stomach at the idea that he is at my school. Before I know it, my feet are walking towards the boy who is just turning the corner. I need to know if it's Ethan and I'm speeding up. I also turn the corner and see the boy in question leaning against a row of lockers. He has his back to me. I pause for a moment, doubting what to do. But I need to know if it's Ethan, the itch in my stomach won't go away sooner. I slowly walk to the lockers.
I am always very shy and reserved, but with Ethan it seems to disappear like snow in the sun.
I stay at an appropriate distance and a soft 'hi' comes out of my mouth that I hardly hear myself. The boy doesn't seem to hear it either because he doesn't move. 'Hi.' It sounds all over the hall and I cover my mouth. The boy turns and I get a fright. The tickle in my stomach disappears and gives way to a sting.
