Lauren got sad because at some point she was really very sad. She is talking to herself to comfort her heart:
                 "Why people are so heartless? If they are then I also be a heartless person. If they are cruel then I will also be cruel.I will treat all the people worst."

She is continually thinking so negative and what is the reason that she is not watching the positive side of life?

               "So broken you are that is the only reason that you cannot get rid of negativity." The spirit came and she will not go before she made assured Lauren that she is her mother. Definitely, if anyone is hardly broken, he/she tries to sucide or giving any punishment to herself / himself. Lauren is also doing the same but actually we are losing our inner peace.

              "Why are you so concerned? Yes, I am broken. So what? No one ever cared about me." Lauren said sadly.
 
              "A mother is always concerned for her kids. I will prove that you are my daughter. You have a birth mark on your neck and your hair colour that resembles to my hair colour, light brown. Your eye colour is lightish grey and my is blue. You also have a fair complexion same as me. Sometimes  I see myself in you, Laura". Said the spirit.
 
           "Yeah! I have a birth mark on my neck but how do you know?"asked Lauren.
            
           "A mother knows everything about her kids, and you are my loveliest child, the most true and sincere daughter." Said the spirit.
  
           The words of the spirit touched Lauren's heart. She is amazed because no one had ever known much about Lauren. She said that she wants some time to think about that. It is not easy for me to admit that you are my mother, just through some resemblances.
  
           She asked, "But why are you a spirit, if you are my mom?"
     
           The spirit said, "The fake people had made my life so worst as a human so,
somehow, I died and then I made a spirit. Now, see you have started taking interest in my words. I just need a favour from you, call me mom."

        "I need some time. I cannot trust people easily because I don't want to be broken and alone anymore. I am fed up." Lauren said. She is really confused maybe she is not showing but she is.
