A few months have passed, Nightmare had spent some time trying to figure out some sort of antidote, even though he hasn't he had figured out a few things about the substance and wound. Like for example, the substance is very sensitive to light, or that the substance isn't actually what had covered Nightmare, that's still in progress.

But besides that small factor, the palace itself became the home of this strange family. Placed on Mt. Ebott, it was home. 

The children was always running around. Nightmare had returned to school, teaching till his hearts content. Midnight's softball season at school had started. Comet's Track and Field season had started too. Everyone was busy now. At times Y/N would be home alone with the few guards and the maids. Y/N groaned it was that pain again. She coughed lightly. A small amount of goo splattered on her pillow. This is so boring, I should be working. Sooner or later I'm to get into trouble with them. She puffed her cheeks. She sat up and looked around. This room was ten times bigger. The bed felt like it could eat you. Everything placed nice and properly. A few books were nicely placed on the nightstand. Nightmare must've been reading all night. Y/N sighed. She looked at the rope that hung by her bed. She got up. She started to shiver. She looked back and wrapped a warm blanket around her body. She did only have a tank top and shorts on. She slid into her slippers and walked to the door. She grabbed the door knob and opened the huge doors. She peeked her head out. Two guards on each side of the door. She opened the door wider now and stepped out. 

The guards flinched slightly and looked at her. "M-Mistress! What are you doing out of bed?" The guard to the right moved in. "The Master won't be pleased to find out-"

"It's fine. I'm only going to get a sip of water." She took another step.

"I'm sorry Mistress but, the Master really won't be happy to figure out that you had left the room."

"If you would like something to drink I'll get an Eclipse to get you something right aw-"

Y/N ignored the statement and walked away. "W-Wait Mistress!" Called out one of them. They both ran over. "Please we beg if you! If our Commander finds out and let's the Master know, we're goners!" They said rushing in front of her. 

Y/N sighed. She pulled out her phone. She held the button on the bottom. "Siri call," she lowered her voice. "Grape....Dad." Y/N pulled it even closer. "Dy." It quite for a moment.

"Calling Grape Daddy!" Y/N looked down in defeat. Oh God why did Jason do that. 

The guards looked at each other in surprise. This is so embarrassing.

Meanwhile, "Though the causes of the war were unknown a big theory that many histori-" 

"Getting call from, 'Flower Mommy'!" Nightmare's hand jerked to the side. The squeaking of the marker jerked on the whiteboard. The students chuckling and laughing among each other. Nightmare stared at the phone. You little bitch. Nightmare bent down and grabbed it as it rang. 

Some students hollering him to answer it. He ended the call. After it rang the students laughed. "Ha ha very funny." He said forcing a smile, only causing them to laugh more. He sighed, and put the lid on the marker. Slowly set it down, and placed his hands on the desk. "Be quiet." The laughing slowly died down. "Unless you want detention." It went quiet. He turned around and looked at the whiteboard again. "Where was l?" He opened the marker. "Oh yeah, the war was a unkn-" 

"Calling 'Flower Mommy'"! The students started laughing.

"He isn't answering!"

"Perhaps, he's busy? Maybe it's better if we head back to the ro-"

"Nope." She continues to walk. The guards look at each other. Y/N looks back. "I..." she smacks her lips and murmurs, "I can't believe I'm doing this." She looked up again. "I command you, to go back to my room and guard it, thank you." With that Y/N turned around and continued. The Nightshades looked at each other in defeat. They walked away tails tucked in and dragged their spears on the ground.

Y/N walked and walked until she reached the kitchen. She kicked the door open everyone inside looked at her. All five Eclipse looked at her. The intense heat for the kitchen drowned her as she started to sweat. "Mistress!" One of the Eclipse cutting the vegetables walked over. She carries a stool and placed it down. "If you needed anything you could've let us know?" Y/N laughed lightly. 

"No, I wanted to get out of that place." She looked up. "But thank you for caring." She smiled lightly. "I actually came to get a cup of water." She perked up. The bottom half of her body becoming more transparent. She turned around and faded away. Reappearing to a cupboard and getting a glass cup. Floating to a faucet near the fridge. She came over and handed her the cup."Thank you." Y/N took the cup and took a sip. Why the hell does this taste different? 

She took another sip, it's flavorful water? That's weird, but tastes great. Probably not important.

"If I may ask? What conjures you to leave your room?" One of the Eclipse came up to the other and nudge her slightly away. She continued to cut vegetables. 

"Don't be asking insufferable questions." She snapped at her. 

"It's quite alright. I just stayed to long in my room, needed to stretch my legs." I say taking a sipof water.

"What's for dinner today?" The Eclipse at the stove looked back. 

"Menudo." 

Y/N scrunched her nose. "Sounds weird."

"It's a Mexican dish, Mistress." She turned the heat low and traveled to the fridge. "It's healthy."

Y/N looked to the side. "What was Nightmare like." One of the Eclipse was beating some dough on the other side. 

"What are you referring to?" She said as she continued to beat the dough. 

"Who was he before, he met me." Two Eclipse that were cutting meat looked over, one of them spoke.

"Well, he's a lot nicer to us then he was before. He isn't as cruel to us too." Her tail wagged happily. "He hasn't ordered an ambush yet either." 

"An ambush." Repeated Y/N.

"He used to order his generals to take over a universe, to create another world for us."

"Another world for us" what does that mean.

"What would he do?" Y/N said leaning on the wall. 

"Destroy."

She got up and grabbed her water. "Alright. I'm gonna get going." She went ahead and jugged it down. "Thank you for the info." With that she walked out.

He destroyed. Y/N looked down at her hand the marking growing faint on her palm. Destroy a universe.

Y/N sighed and looked down. She saw a light to the side the windows glistened a light to the floor. Y/N looked to the side. The garden. It was located in the center of the castle. The room that used to be there was gone. 

It supported an apple tree nice in the . Flowers growing around the rim. Nightmare had thought it was a good idea to place it here for her to view. He never let her leave the interior though. Y/N walked up to the window and leaned in. The view is spectacular.

The sunset color of the roses that complimented the exterior. The walk way that had the pillars were covered with vines. The vines had buds, a few already in bloom. The sounds of birds chirping, and butterflies bouncing from the poppy flowers. The tree held gala apples as they sat on leaves and kept each other together. The branches sprouted to the side as the trunk coiled lightly, the roots slightly appeared from the ground. A lizard sat still on the root. As a leaf fell lightly and touched the ground.

Y/N sighed and looked at her phone. 2:10. He'll be back soon. 

Just a little longer. It's a beautiful view. 

Hello! How are yall holding up? Good me too. Im trying to at least publish more frequently now, even if I have a busy plate. I really door enjoy writing this book and I really want to experiment wit this universe a little more so, Im planning on making a sequel, mainly for my own entertainment. Hopefully yall can hop on hat on too after this one. Anyways I have an essay to write.
