-Chapter 7-
Adora's POV
Class continued as Catra and whoever that other person that looked identical to her left. Life would've been calm if DT wasn't here either. They wouldn't stop talking about, WHATEVER THEY WERE TALKING ABOUT!
The bell rang, and school was out. FINALLY! This day was horrible and exhausting, just like every other day, but this day was exciting. Basketball tryouts were today! What could be better than a competitive sport?
As soon as the bell for the buses to be called rang, I ran straight to the gym as I saw other people there too. People started to walk into the gym. Like, who walks into the gym during basketball tryouts? I ran in there, bumping into people like there was no tomorrow.
"HEY, WATCH YOUR STEP!"
"WAIT YOUR TURN!"
"WERE ALL GOING TO THE SAME AREA, WHY ARE YOU RUSHING?!"
All those comments went through one ear and out through the other. I had to be early to tryouts, even if everyone was going to the same destination.
Everyone started sitting of the cold floor of the gym as the coach got a microphone in his hand.
"Hello, everyone! Who's exciting for basketball tryouts?!" the coach said as people started cheering, "We're going to start with a quick game of basketball to see everyone's skills, so everyone come up her and pick a blue or red vest depending on what team you want to be on!"
I decided to wait last in line to see which side had the most people on it so I could join that side. I saw a lot of tall people choosing the red side, so I quickly shoved people to get a red vest before they all were gone.
After about five minutes later, everyone started to go on either side of the basketball court depending on what color they chose.
"So, when I blow the whistle, you guys may begin!" The coach said as he waited a couple seconds. He put the whistle to his mouth pretending to blow it, but he actually didn't, but did I care? NO! I quickly ran up to the basketball ready to do shoot it in the hoop.
"HEY!" He said back as he laughed, "I didn't blow the whistle yet, but I'm glad you're excited about it."
There was like 100 people on each side of the basketball court! Or maybe I'm over exaggerating. After, the coach blew his whistle, and I went running down that basketball court.
As I was running for it, the opposite team got it. "HOW SLOW ARE YOU GUYS?! CAN YOU GUYS RUN FASTER!" I yelled at my teammates, but they didn't say anything. I went running after the person with the basketball as I leaped on them throwing them to the ground, but the basketball flew out of their hands. I looked over to the distance to see someone on my team holding the basketball as I got excited.
"YO, JAMAL!" I yelled as I got up from the ground, "PASS IT TO ME!" He looked at me then looked away while running with the basketball in his hands. "Jamal?" I heard someone from behind me say, "Did she mean Tyrone?"
I rolled my eyes, "TYRONE, IF YOU DON'T PASS IT TO ME NOW THEN WE ALL ARE GOING TO LOSE!" Tyrone was still ignoring me, I got so annoyed by it! HOW COULD HE IGNORE ME?! IF WE LOSE, THEN I'M BLAMMING IT ON TYRONE!
I transformed my hair clip into a sword as I pointed it up to the air, "FOR THE HONOR OF GRAYSKULL!" I yelled as I transformed in to, She-Ra. I went running up to Tyrone and pushed him out of the way which caused ten other people behind him to also fall too. "YES!" I yelled as I got a hold of the basketball and started running, but people were screaming and trying to chase me.
I transformed my sword into a rope and threw it at them as I ran with the basketball and threw it into the hoop. "WOOHOO!" I yelled as I cheered, "DID YOU SEE THAT, COACH!"
The coach looked at me shocked as students were yelling and the gym looked like a wreck. I stopped cheering as my smile faded. I turned back into Adora again as I looked with the coach with a sincere face. "Oh, I'm sorry about this. Let me clean it up..." I said to the coach. He didn't say a word, he just looked at me with that same expression.
I walked over to a part of the gym where I accidentally pushed someone. I helped Tyrone up, and he rolled his eyes at me. "Look, Tyrone. I'm sorry, it was just that you were ignoring me, so I got mad." I said to him.
"YOU CALLED ME JAMAL!" He yelled at me.
"Oh yeah, haha. Sorry about that too."
"Whatever." He said as he walked away.
"It's always one of Adora's doings, am I right?" I heard someone say from behind me. I looked behind me to see Hordak standing right there, "You know, Adora caused me trouble back in my days too. Just know you aren't going to first period tomorrow, Adora. Go to the media center to see your new fellow classmates at art therapy."
I looked scared when he said that. NO, NOT THAT! OUT OF EVERYTHING IN THE WORLD, PLEASE NOT THAT!
"MR. HORDAK, NOT THAT, PLEASE!" I yelled at him.
"My decision is final. I'll love to see you there." He said as he laughed and walked away.
"UGH, THIS IS THE WORSE DAY EVER!" I said as I banged my head on the wall.
"That was cool, Adora." I heard the coach say, "I think a better sport would fit you. Have you ever tried wrestling?"
I looked at him and groaned. He isn't helping.
