*Bhairavi Pov*

I should have opened my eyes when I felt his fingers brushing my face and stop him from doing that but I couldn't do it.

Slowly opening my eyes, I could see that he is lost in his thoughts, but is just continuing to move his fingers over my face. I released a breath which I ceased feeling the fluttering inside and moved a little.

Then he glanced at my face and we both stilled in our posture before I fumbled to get away from the cot. When he sat up calmly, I took my apparel and walked outside the cot for a bath.

When I returned, I saw Colton standing before the hut with a bored expression. So, even today he will be the one to be with me and it is for good, as he must have many duties to perform.

"Our Queen wants to have a word with you after morning food. I placed it inside along with mine." He mumbled when he saw me.

And I stopped myself from correcting him that she is not my Queen. But I gave a slight nod before stepping inside the hut.

"Why is she wishing to meet me?" I questioned him when we walked near to the place where their King and Queen live.

"I do not know! Gavin gave her message at our training to Alastair and I was asked by Alastair to take you there." He replied and I froze in my steps hearing his words.

"He could have accompanied me, right?" I asked myself more than Colton.

"He is little different. Do not care for his ignorance." He mumbled calmly in an assurance.

"Let us go!" I mumbled and we continued our walk.

"Your Highness! She is here." He said when we stepped inside the chamber where both King and Queen are present on the thrones.

"I did not get time to have a word with you Child as I was needed to look after the settling of the people that returned from Palmer." She said in a tone like an authority and I gave her a small nod.

"I am Sabrina, Queen of the Nadir." She added.

"It is a pleasure to meet you Queen Sabrina." I uttered not bowing to her and they all glanced at me in shock.

"You have to gesture her as Your Highness." Colton whispered to me.

"But she is not my Queen. I can give the respect for the position of hers, but not the submit of myself." I whispered back, but for our bad in luck the King and Queen heard the words from both us.

"You are living on this land from the past few days and that makes you a part of this land. So, I am your Queen." Queen Sabrina said, looking at my face.

"If this is my land, then I should have a right to state my wish and get it fulfilled whether I want to stay here or not. When that is not possible, then how can I be part of this land, Queen Sabrina?" I questioned and Colton gulped hearing my words.

But to both of our utter shock both King and Queen chuckled before climbing down from the thrones and walked near us.

"Now I will believe your words that she is the one who executed that Ramsey." Queen said smiling at me and the King.

"And she beat you at your own words." King pointed out.

"That is true! I want to have a private word with her so you can leave for the war." She said glancing at Colton.

"War? What war?" I questioned them with a frown and then glanced at Colton.

"It is a small war so do not worry. But it will take a few days for us to return." Colton explained and I frowned.

"Why was I not informed?" I questioned myself in a whisper before taking a step back.

"Your highness! The vessel already left the land, few moments back so I will be outside the chamber to take her back." Colton said stepping outside.

"Are you fine?" Queen's question brought me out of my thoughts which did not stop from the moment I get to know that there is a war to which Alastair had gone but didn't inform me.

"I am!" I mumbled stepping inside her chamber.

"I heard that you are being given the apparel's from the people. I have some of my apparel which I am not using. So, I thought of giving them to you as I am sure the thin gowns are not enough in this cold as you are new." She uttered before stepping towards her cupboard and took out few apparel's before giving them to me.

"You have my gratitude for this kind help, Queen Sabrina." I uttered with a smile and she smiled back.

"I know you are upset for not knowing about the war but do not worry because Alastair is always safe. They will return soon." She assured me.

"It is nothing of such, Queen Sabrina. I just wish he had informed me as we are living in a small space." I mumbled.

"Men are always thick headed, Bhairavi. Do not take their actions to heart." She said caressing my hair.

"Can I have an unused blanket?" I asked her not knowing will she think I am doing a wrong thing.

"Here!" she immediately gave me one and I thanked her again before deciding to walk away.

"Few are saying that you are a danger to this land, Bhairavi. I do not think you are but if I am wrong, then don't prove me wrong." Her last words before I left the chamber rang in my head.

I do not think they are being silly to think that I am danger for them because they do not know me. If they really think I am danger then they could send me away from here right.

"I know you are upset with me." Colton uttered when we reached the hut.

"I am not!" I retorted with a frown, thinking from where did she got that thought.

"As I didn't tell you about the war. And that is why you have not uttered a single word to me in our walk." He said.

"It is not about that. I will put these inside why don't we go somewhere you can show me another beautiful place of this land." I suggested and he nodded before we started our walk.

"Is it not a problem that you are not in the war?" I questioned him when we returned from the walk.

"If I leave then who will protect you when someone decides to harm you here. Alastair has already informed me to stay back for you." He replied and I smiled at him.

"However, I know you would just steal their weapons, making all of them lose the aim of hurting you but you will need someone to hold the weapons you stole right?" he asked and I laughed at his words before I can stop.

"Now this laugh is better on your face than the frown which was from the morning time. Why don't you stay here while I go and bring the food?" he asked.

"Why don't I come with you?" I asked him back and he reluctantly nodded before stepping near the food place where everyone have the food together.

I can feel the stares and whispers from the moment I stepped inside, but I acted like I am not getting any of that attention and sat before Colton on the stools.

"Why does no one has bows?" I questioned Colton.

"Men feels that they are weak weapons in this place. Some women learn the weapon, but in a limited level." He explained.

"You all men here are still in backward time." I mumble frowning at his words.

"Have your food calmly." He mumbled teasingly.

"And do not give the people any importance. They will forget about you soon." He assured when the whispers continued.

"Maybe Ramsey should wake up from death for them to forget about me." I mumbled and he chuckled.

*Alastair Pov*

"Take a few breaths, Alastair. We will be in our land soon." Gavin said, but I just stared at the water to see when will we reach.

"You were like an animal in the war making this war finish in just two days. Because of which we are returning home in a week." One man commented.

"I wish to return home soon." I mumbled sighing feeling the wounds I got getting my best.

"Are you regretting for not informing my sister before you leave?" Gavin asked smirking.

"Yes! I am thinking about regret I am feeling, but for Bhairavi. This will be the last time you take your sister name before me. I am fine with being her acquaintance, but if anyone sees more to it between us then I will not spare anyone which involves you too." I threatened him and glanced away.

"She is just your slave." He reminded him and added, "We do not know anything about her."

"I know that! I very well know that." I groaned before climbing down the vessel when it stopped at our land.

"Let us help you." Few men offered.

"I am fine!" I mumbled before taking long steps and saw Jacey and Colton walking near us.

"Anyone is hurt?" Colton asked, holding the paste which soothes the wounds.

"Where is she?" I asked them and Jacey frowned at me.

"Tell him Colton! As you are the one who knows where she is and where she is not right? And you both are very close too." Jacey asked Colton with a smirk.

"She is in the hut." He replied and I nodded before taking away the paste as I need it but no one else does.

I glanced around and saw the people stepping out of their huts when they got to know that we returned which is our tradition in the land.

Walking inside the hut I saw that she is lying on the cot lost in thoughts. I closed the door hearing, which she sat up abruptly with a shock on her face.

"You have returned? But they told me that you will take time?" She questioned getting up from the cot.

"Apply this!" I uttered passing the paste ignoring her questions.

"What?" She questioned with a frown.

"Apply this on me, my slave." I whispered in a order before removing my tunic.

so, the next update will be little late i mean it wll be tomorrow but not today...

And she doesnt know what she is feeling is attraction.. she is scared but she doesnt know should she like it or not... but he is not young or something and knows what he is feeling...
