And with the sound of shattering glass
The game begins

Patricia woke up in a hut, with cold winds blowing through and the sound of waves crashing on the shore.
Lakeside Village was the map
Her teammates were Tracy, Naib and Norton. Each of them were spawned in different locations of the map.
Even near where the Hunter spawned.
She was able to locate where Naib and Tracy was, at the cipher close to the beach. Norton, however, was nowhere to be seen.
She hoped he didn't get into anything reckless
Lucky for her, a cipher was just outside the hut. Getting into decoding was just as fast.

A minute had passed, one cipher down.
Norton had yet to be seen
Thinking about him made her worry, the guy isn't much of an extremist, but he sure does get himself into a lot of troubles.
And him being heck of a teaser, only make it worse
But that doesn't mean he was bad, no.
In fact, the guy is rather charming and sweet.
Wasn't that how he stole her heart?
"Ah! No!" The cipher exploded with sparks and heat (It's fine though).
Ding! A tentacle rose up behind her, it was crystal clear.
The Hunter was Hastur.
And just a second later, the Mercenary got hit. That meant he was near both him and Tracy, unless the girl had got away first. No time to lose, she returned to decoding, not minding the tentacle from behind.
A few more seconds, just a few more!
And with a sound, one more cipher was down. Only three- wait, two?
If two of her teammates were being chased, then that cipher must have been decoded by the other.
Norton was, somehow, alright!
Pretty sure more than five tentacles had risen near him. Poor guy and his magnetic skill's side effect.

Quickly, the Enchantress got rid of the tentacle, and moved to find another cipher.
There was one, near the fences! A dangerous one
The woman still latched onto it, and started decoding right away. Naib was healed, those two must have gotten away safely.
Great, then now we sure can win-
Ding!
"A tentacle? W-Wha-"
Wham! She got hit with it. A Terror shock.
"Dammit, I almost got it..!" She cursed under her breath
Louder and louder, her heart beat, Hastur was closer to her. The tall god Hunter look down at her with his red gleaming eyes, picking her up with big balloons and started taking her to a rocket chair.
She struggled like mad, desperate to free herself. They have almost reached the chair, and she couldn't stuggle any faster.
Someone, can someone help her?
Clank! A sound of something heavy and metallic was dropped on the ground.
Could it be?
Hastur was then pulled by a strong force into a tower of crates nearby and got stunned. She was free.
Quickly, she ran, once he recovered and ready to hit her, the woman stunned him again with her magic and got away. Though, it didn't stop him from tracking her blood trail
More minutes had passed, one more cipher down
Only one left, could they make it?
She was still chased by the Hunter, luring him far away from her teammates so they could decode in safety. Hitting him with pallets, vaulting over windows, stunning him with her own skills, you name it, and it was tiring. But she didn't stop.
Only one cipher left, for the whole team.
In one moment, she made a wrong move, and he caught up. He could hit her anytime now, just this one hit and she was down.
Only one cipher left, sacrifices must be made.
Running to a different area while being chased was risky, especially when the Hunter was so close.
That was it, that was the end. Hastur pulled back his hand in a ready position, a sinister laugh emerged from the god.
And with a swift motion, he sprang his tentacle arm forwards. She thought that was the end, but just as it was a about to hit her, She was suddenly pulled to the side. The tentacle hit the wall instead
She let out a gasp in surprise, seeing herself flying away from the Hunter.
And before Patricia knew it, she was in someone's firm arms
"Gotcha!" A familiar low voice she had wished to hear since the beginning of the match.
"Norton?"
"Hm? No thank you? I saved you" He smirked, his tone hinted with playfulness, the one that would make her eyes roll
"What do you want? A kiss?" She clapped back at him with sarcasm, yet it only made his smirk wider
"That would work~"
"...Put me down"
"I was joking!" He laughed, setting her down to the ground.
For a guy who normally appears as sweet and playful like a puppy, at certain times he could really make a person blushes like her.
Though, she wasn't exactly complaining, she was rather happy for him to have opened up to everyone, rather than being dull and gloomy when he first came in. Patricia would love to know more about him, and how he got those wounds... Why he became so gloomy, and that hid away the real him.

The alarm sounded loudly, and Patricia was all healed up again. The gate could then be opened.
"Good timing! C'mon, let's run!" He held out a hand, looking at her as he grinned.
A cute grin that stunned her for a second
She couldn't help but smiled back, extending a hand to grab his
"Of course, let's"

The match ends
All survivors escaped victoriously

"Where's my kiss?" Norton followed Patricia as she walked down the hall after getting back from the match
"...I don't remember agreeing to give you one" She protested, glancing at the man who still wore a cheery and teasing smile
"You offered me one" Oh, he was talking about that?
"I was being sarcastic..." A straight respond with her arms crossed
"An offer is an offer, and I accepted it"
A stop, she turned to him, arms crossed still
"You really love to mess with people, don't you?"
A chuckle, and a smirk
"Only with you"
Agh, this guy, just wouldn't stop being troublesome now, would he?
Though she doesn't mind. After all, her heart was stolen by him.
With a hand cupping his cheek, she leaned in for a soft kiss on his lips, which he happily returned with one.
"Oh get a room you two!"Shouted the mercenary and mechanic from afar, which got their attention
"No, you two get a room!" They both replied, chuckling at the other two as Naib pushed Tracy away, glaring at them.
