Town Riot.
~3rd person pov~
Some guy was getting a snack from the vending machine. He then heard a groan. He looked and saw zombies coming closer! He looked at the vending machine, back at the zombies, back at the vending machine, then back at the zombies, which one tried to reach for him but he screamed and ran away. But he ran back to get his snack from the vending machine, still screaming and ran away.
The zombies tried to follow him but noticed a billboard of a witch saying "the lucky witch casino."
They then looked over to see a couple, laughing, probably drunk
They looked over to another person, spraypainting a skull and cross bones in the side of a building.
They looked over to see a woman and her kid eating in the car. The woman took a bite of her burger and ketchup got everywhere.
They then looked to a TV in one of the windows see it playing gunfire, monster trucks, romance, explosions, some pop star singing, and a weird cartoon.
One of the zombies screamed!
Then, the guy who was at the vending machine came out with a woman and another man
"See?! I told you! Zombies! It's the witch's curse!" He said.
The woman and her kid got out of the car, toward the zombies with the kid saying "mama?"
The guy spraypainting the wall came over and flipped his glasses saying "what?"
The drunk couple came over and asked "what should we do?"
The zombies just stayed there, confused.
Then a woman took out a freaking shotgun from behind her back and shouted "kill 'em in the head!"
The zombies became scared.
~(y/n)'s pov~
We were running through town and then we stopped at a corner.
"Hurry! This way!" Norman shouted.
Then a woman screamed and ran away with something on her, it was either ketchup or blood. It was probably ketchup.
We then looked and noticed the zombies and the townsfolk were fighting. Now, I'm starting to think that was blood.
"Oh! This is awful! The zombies are, like, eating everyone!" Courtney yelled.
I looked around and noticed a sign.
"Norman, look!" I said, pointing to the sign.
He looked at the sign which said "historic town hall" pointing to the right.
"Come on!" Norman shouted, grabbing my hand and running past the crowd. The others followed up behind us.
The dark, purple storm clouds were spreading through town, making thunder rumble, as we ran to the Town Hall.
"Is everyone all right? Nobody got bitten?" Norman asked, still holding my hand.
"I bit my tongue. Does that count?" Neil said, sticking his tongue out.
Norman tried opening the doors, but it was locked so he turned to us.
"Does anyone know how to pick a lock?"
We just turned to Alvin who was picking his nose. (eww!!)
He noticed us looking at him and stopped.
"Sure. Picking locks is my thing." Alvin said, snapping his fingers.
He grabbed something, smashed through the window on the door then unlocked to door, opening it. "Boom"
Everyone just looked at him.
"You know what? Let's not question it. Let's just get inside!" I said, grabbing Norman's hand and ran inside. Everyone else followed.
~3rd pov~
The zombie's arm came out from behind a trash can by the Town Hall and ran over to the head zombie. He picked it up and attached it back onto him. He then went to go find the other zombies.
~(y/n)'s pov~
Neil and Courtney closed the windows as Neil boarded up the door with a bookshelf.
"This is it!" Norman said, in front of the hall of records.
"This is?" Neil asked.
"Now we can find out where the witch was buried." Norman said then opened the doors.
"Uh-oh" I said.
There were tens of thousands of records and old newspapers in here!
"Woah." Mitch said.
"Great. I'm super-psyched." Courntey said, with sarcasm. "This is turning into the most fun night ever!"
"Man! Zombies take over the world and we lock ourselves in a library! Are you kidding me?! There's an adult video store just across the street!" Alvin said, complaining.
"This will be a piece of cake, you'll see!" Neil said, picking up a magazine. "Page.....one."
Me and Norman groaned at Neil. We start looking through some records and newspapers.
"I really hate these places." Mitch said, picking up some books like they're weights.
"Come on! Uh, that's not it. Time is running out!" Norman whisper shouted it.
"How the hell are we going to find it in here?" I said to myself.
~3rd person pov~
"Ain't room for no more zombies in this town!" a man shouted.
The head zombie looked around the corner and noticed the other zombies getting attacked.
He walked out and then was shot in the stomach by the lady with the shotgun. Thank goodness her was a zombie.
The head zombie called out for the other zombies and ran as the others followed him. One of them had part of his arm ripped off of him in the process.
Meanwhile, Norman's parents were driving and the police officer was talking in the back.
"It would have been a quiet night, too. If it hadn't been for those meddling kids." she said and Norman's parents just looked at each other. "Sweet baby jinkies!!!"
The car the swirved into the crowd of people as no one got hurt.
The police officer went up to a civilian with a gun, firing randomly.
"What do you think you're doing firing at civillians?!" she shouted taking the gun away. "That is for the police to do!"
Then the deputy ran up to her with a torch.
"Oh, no, no, no, it's okay, sheriff. We've only been shooting at the dead ones. It's the living dead, come to take us all to hell! We've got to stop them before they get away!" He said.
Meanwhile, with the zombies, they walked over to the Town Hall. They decided to take the back entrance. Not knowing that the theatre teacher was following them.
"Move along now, people! There isn't anything to see here!" the police officer said.
Just then, the theatre teacher climbed up on top of Norman's parents car.
"I saw them! I saw them! They're in the Town Hall!" she shouted. "Cry 'Havoc,' and let slip the dogs of war!"
Everyone went silent because no one knew what she meant.
"Let's rip 'em apart!" she shouted and everyone shouted again.
~Norman's pov~
"We're not going to find it in here, Norman!" Courtney said. "This is useless!"
"Yeah, I know, and it's also really boring." Alvin said.
"I thought I was driving a van. No one told me I was going to do this other dumb stuff." Mitch said, throwing a paper airplane he made.
I sighed.
"If I had known there was so much reading involved, I would have brought a completely different group of people who hate me." I said.
"Hey." I turned and saw (y/n). "Who said me or Neil hated you?" (y/n) said.
"Well, I know you guys don't, but why aren't you like the others?" I asked. "I'm a freak. Ow!" I got punches in the arm by (y/n).
"No, you're not, you're not a freak. I don't want you thinking that. Besides, I don't think you're a freak. You're the most awesome person who ever lived." (y/n) said. "Besides, Neil, he's my cousin after all."
I chuckled and blushed a bit.
"Besides, you're brave, and smart, and cool." (y/n) said, getting closer. I started blushing more. Our lips started getting closer...
"Yes! Book number one, finished! That is right. Twenty-six pages. Oh, yeah!" Neil shouted.
Courtney, Mitch and Alvin groaned as (y/n) realised how close we were and moved away.
"I'm, uh, I'm gonna go look at some more records." (y/n) said, blushing and walking away.
"O-okay." I said. What just happened?
~(y/n)'s pov~
I walked away but when I was out of Norman's eye sight, I hit my head on a bookself.
"What was that, (y/n)?! What were you doing?!" I whisper shouted to myself. "But even though, we didn't do anything, I was nice..."
I then went back to the others and noticed Courtney complaining to Norman. I noticed Mitch getting up and opening the door.
"Guys! There's something moving out there. I think it's the zombies." Mitch said.
"Hide!" Alvin shouted.
"Oh, no, it's not. It's just grown-ups." Mitch said.
"HIDE!!!!!" Alvin shouted.
We went over to the door and saw people throwing things inside the Town Hall.
"Woah. That sound. Do you know what that is? That's not awesome things." Mitch said.
"Guys, come on!" Norman shouted, with him on his knees, with some papers in his hands.
"Just give it up, you wiener." Alvin said.
"No, we have to keep trying." Norman said.
"Uh! We tried and look what happened." Courtney said, turning to Norman. "I'm scared, Norman, and I can't listen to this anymore."
"You never listen." Norman said, putting the papers down and standing up. "No one ever listens! I'm scared, too, but I've still got to do this."
"I do too listen! And whatever it was you just said, it's not working." Courtney said.
"Yeah, you're a great listener." I whispered under my breath.
"You think you're going to go out there, do your 'talking to the dead' thing, and this is all going to be okay?" Courtney said. "What are you going to do? Huh? Ask the zombies not to eat you?"
"I should have known you wouldn't understand. No one ever does!" Norman shouted, looking away.
"Norman, you need to stop all this weird stuff and start living in the real world." Courtney said but Norman just exploded.
"EVERYONE IN THE REAL WORLD THINKS I'M A FREAK! AND YOU KNOW WHAT? Maybe they're right. Maybe I am a freak. BUT I NEVER ASKED FOR YOUR HELP! JUST GO! GET OUT!" Norman shouted.
"Jeez, that was dramatic." Mitch said.
"Ugh! Come on!" Courtney said, walking out of the room.
Alvin glared at him and followed Courtney.
Mitch glared at him to and went to get me and Neil.
"I'm not going anywhere. You can't make me." Neil said but Mitch just picked him up.
"Dude, you're really heavy." Mitch said.
"I'm not speaking to you!" Neil said.
"Come on, (y/n)." Mitch said and walked out the door.
I just looked at Norman with a sad face and walked out the door.
~Norman's pov~
I just kicked my bag, the book came out and I sat on my knees
