4. Heaven under the sky?

"Looking for heaven under the sky, you and I. Barely alive."

Just as the two idiots burst through my window we were all transported somewhere.

Normally I would be a bit salty about not knowing where I was going... but right now that was the least of my worries.

All I saw was night sky, and to make matters worse... we were free falling into nothingness.

"KENDRA!" I screamed.

She looked over to me, seeming completely unphased by what was happening.

"What is it?" She answered calmly.

'And I thought Nat was nonchalant...' I thought.

'I can hear you y'know' Nat replied.

Oh yeah. He joined us.

"What's going on?!" I asked.

"We're falling... I thought it was obvious..." she replied with a innocent, yet bored, tone.

"Did you do this?!" I questioned.

"Yeah, but I can see the ground now so everything will be fine in a few moments." She tried to reassure me.

"HOW?! WE ARE GOING TO BECOME PANCAKES!!" I screamed, eyes wide as I stated at the grass covered ground that was rapidly aproaching us.

"I could sure go for some pancakes about now..." Jae comented.

And he's here too...

'AM I THE ONLY ONE WHO CARES ABOUT LIVING?!'

'No. But could you keep it down, your thoughts are giving me a headache.'

'Then stay out of my mind!' I replied.

'Nope. I can't help it. Your thoughts are interesting. Almost as interesting as they were last Saturday.' He replied smugly.

I hid my embarassment behind my anger.
'Oh really. How about I show you interesting when we reach the ground?'

'How so? Are you gonna kiss me this time?' He returned, his smug smile turning into a smirk.

His hair was flying wildly in the air, the same was happening with everyone else, but I seemed to be the only one who cared about our predicament at the moment.

'No. But if we make it to the ground alive, I'll certainly kill you.'

Our conversation was interupted by Kenz.

"We will be ariving in 5!" She began to count down and then something amazingly frightening happened.

As we got close to the ground my body jerked to a stop just inches above it, then after a second the gravity holding me let go and I fell to the ground with a thud.

"Ooowww!" I complained.

"Oh come on. It wasn't as bad as it would have been if you got the ground with full force." Jae replied.

"Yeah, your lucky we had Jae with us to prevent us from any serious injuries." Kenz chuckled.

"Really Lex. You seem to forget that you aren't the only one with powers." Nat chuckled.

I glared at him.

"You" I began.

"Me?" He pointed at himself.

"need to stay out of my mind!" I finished.

"Why? I already told you, your thoughts are interesting. Who needs any other source of entertainment when your mind is active?" He whispered in my ear.

'That's it.' "You're Dead!" I yelled as I ran after him in the giant grass field we had landed in.

"As if you could catch up to me!" Nat laughed.

'Oh, but I can' I thought, loud enough for him to hear and I stretched my hand out and stopped him in place.

"What the hell. I didn't even hear an order?!" He complained.

"Were you not the one that just reminded me that other people have powers? Maybe you have forgoten, but I am a mimic." I smiled, running up to him and pinning him to the ground with a chocker hold.

"I told you I would kill you didn't I?"

"How did you even stop me?!" He questioned.

"Telekenisis."

Jae and Kenz caught up to us after a while and they both had to pry me off of Nat, who was begining to change colour due to lack of oxygen.

"Anyways... this is my power." Kenz changed the subject, spreading her arms out as if she was pointing at everything.

"And what exactly is this?" I asked.

"Parallel world master." She replied.

My jaw dropped.

Parallel world master's were one of the most powerful types of powers that one could have. You had to have been born with it and it is always passed down directly from a previous parallel world master.

They say that the last thought of a parallel world master is released into every world imaginable when they die, and that thought is then compared with each super that is still in the womb. The super that is compatible with the thought is then given the power of parallel world master.

However some parallel world master's last thoughts are not compareable with any foetuses and then the power from that parallel world master is split with all the existing paralel world master's.

It is one of the rarest powers in the universe's combined.

And Kenz here just happened to be one...

'Does that mean that if I see all of her power at work... then I can mimic it?'

'Always the selfish, power hungry one...' Nat teased me.

'Shut it you, or else I'll strangle you again.' I snapped.

"So... where are we?" Jae asked.

Kendra pointed up towards the sky and spoke.

"You see up there, all those stars. Above there is heaven." She stated.

The dark blue sky was filled with trillions of twinkling lights. The space around us looked plain. As if all there was, was grass and sky...

"If you go too far of to the ends of our platform, you will fall. There are thousands of islands floating here. Some grassy like the one we are on, some filled with lakes, and others filled with forests or even housing if you go down far enough." Kenz informed us.

"But what is this place called?" I asked her.

She smiled slyly at me as if she was about to say the most awesome thing.

"This... is the Angel Archilpelago. It's practically heaven under the sky."

(( Key word - Archipelago: Group of islands.))
