Ren sobs when he realizes he will have to continue without her. He never got to tell her. He longs to her hold her once more.  He can not go back. He has gone too far. He sighs and thinks what should I do?  He can not believe she would let him leave her. Why?  Why would she stay?

       Nora thinks, Ren in time I shall explain all to you when I catch up with you. In the meantime, I shall recover nicely in the previous village we came too since my ankle needs extra time to heal. I appreciate all you have done for me. 

     Ren's POV:
     He feels sorrow worse than he has in years. He did not know it could be this hard. 
 
     He sighs as he realizes she did what she did to keep him safe.

       Ren's POV:
    He blushes when he thinks about cute Nora looks when the wind blows across her hair, and how nice the pink skirt looks on her. He smiles at the silly memories he has of her.  

    He decides he must slaughter much grime in her name.  He knows this is what she would want. He only hopes she will be okay and feels bad that he has broken his promise to himself and the one he made with farmer Andy.  Now that he thinks about it is the same promise twice too keep Nora safe. He sighs unsure what to make of the sudden change in plans.

     Nora's  POV:
       Ren, I wish you well.  May you slay much grime while you are away.

      I know you can do it. I have seen you.  I know you are very skilled in the dagger and with your other weapon as well.
   
    Do it for me, Ren.  Do it for me.


      Ren sees grime and pulls out his dagger. He attacks them one by one and wins. He feels tears stain his cheeks as another one comes closer to him. He can not get the dagger out fast enough from the dead ones. He shoots it. The monster falls over dead.
     Then, the next one and so on, in total by the end of that day he has killed around ten of those horrible beasts.   He still misses Nora something awful though and wishes she could have seen him in action today.
     
     Ren starts to sing a bit to himself...

"Without Her,
  My life seems so dull,

without her,
 the fun is over,

and the days are long,
Without Her

the stars seem less bright,

and I have lost my reason to laugh,

Without Her..."

    Ren shudders to think what will happen if he loses her for good.  He can not stop thinking about the girl with short yet cute, orange hair who has won his heart. He wishes he could keep her safe, pull her close, and kiss her.  He blushes as he lays down with Nora in his thoughts. He sleeps despite the distance they have at the moment.

   He tosses and turns in his sleep.  He has a nightmare and starts to sob. He cries out in his sleep, "Nora, Nora, come back!  No, Nora!  You can not die."   He continues to weep as the same bad dream happens over and over for him.

    Nora has no clue how Ren feels about her. She recalls he is not that great at showing his emotions. She often wonders what he thinks about her.  Does he see her as a best friend?  Does he love her?  She blushes as she thinks about much she wishes she would have told him how she feels before he left.  She shudders to think what will happen if she loses him for good. She can stop thinking about the boy with jet black hair, that has a solid pink highlight in it.  She wishes she would have asked him about the highlight.
