a random dedication
So this is a random chapter I'm going to throw in this book because I need to put it somewhere. I am halfway this book, it's called of dogs and walls by Yuko Tsushima. I bought it for 50 cents in the library, it's a Penguin Modern.
It consists of two parts, the first one is called The watery Realm; and I just want to express my love for that story.
It's so philosophical and thoughtful and the way it's written is beautiful, like it really hits you but not in a like a heavy way, but you just understand—even though it's a quite difficult story—but it's like you can interpret it in your own way I guess. It's difficult to explain, but trust me you'll understand once you read it.
The story is sensational and unique; and the structure is amazing too.
If you ever get the chance to read it, please do.
I'll leave some other good books here, because I think our generation should read some more of these books. I read most of them when I was in third grade I guess, but my father used to read them to me from pre-school till third grade.
Fun fact, I used to know the chapters of the books by heart.
-20.000 leagues underneath the sea, by Jules Verne
-journey to the centre of the earth, by Jules Verne
-Nobody's boy (Sans Famille), by Hector Malot
-The wonderful adventures of Nils, by Selma Lagerlöf
Love,
Gabi
