"I'm sorry, but who are you?"

Everyone's jaw dropped and the room went completely silent for the matter of a minute. Even Bang PD who walked in by now, gulped at that while he leaned on a wall, watching what was about to happen.

Jungkook blinked his eyes twice, staying quiet while he stared in Taehyung's eyes in disbelief.
Taehyung held the stare for a bit but then quickly looked away, not able to keep eye contact to the boy.

Jungkook crossed his arms, lifted an eyebrow and stepped back.
"Jungkook, not that it matters but I'm your boyfriend", he said, voice lowly.

"Oh", Taehyung bit his lips, looking at the others questioningly.
Jin stepped forward, shaking his head. "He's not, Taehyung. He's lying because he's an obsessed dumb kid. You never loved him."

Even Namjoon glared at Jin in disbelief now. "Enough. We're going outside and have a talk, right now." He grabbed the older's wrist, dragging him out of the hospital room.

"Don't you think that just went a bit too far?!", he snapped and Jin frowned. "It's for the best. Taehyung doesn't seem to remember what happened, obviously a case of Amnesia. Let's use it as an opportunity to keep them apart."

"That's not our right to do, Jin. Keeping them away for good, fine. But lying and putting a bad light on Kookie even though he never pressured Taehyung into anything? That's unfair", Namjoon hummed, eyes trailing along Jin's face that went blank.
"B-but", Jin started. "No, Babe. No", Namjoon said. "I'm supporting you all the time because I know how you feel about Jungkook. I don't think they should be together either, but I'm not going to be spreading lies with you."

"So much for always having my back."

"Jin, stop it. I thought you love him? Why would you unnecessarily hurt him more? His boyfriend doesn't remember him, I'm sure as hell I'd be in a lot of pain if you suddenly wouldn't remember me."
"Yeah", Jin shrugged.

"I know, all you want is his safety. So he won't end up li-"
"Don't."

Jin turned around and walked back in, furrowing his brows when he watched Jungkook who still stood next to Taehyung, eyeing him for the whole time.
"Fine. Sorry. Taehyung, that's your ex. You've got him in a lot of trouble, stay away."

Bang PD coughed slightly. "I mean, now that Taehyung doesn't remember, I guess we won't have to kick them out if nothing happens ever again."

"What happened?", Taehyung asked quietly.

"Oh well, you two fucked in our practice room", Hoseok grinned and then walked closer, kissing Taehyung's forehead. "Glad your alive, boo."
Yoongi joined in and ruffled Taehyung's hair. "Don't mind Jin, no one knows what's up with him."

Jungkook stepped back a little, frowning.
Not saying a word.

Namjoon came back in now as well and sighed. "I'm going to talk to a doctor now, ask how to deal with that." With that he left again.

Bang PD sighed, "Dude, I'm glad your amnesia saved your ass", he patted Taehyung's shoulders. "Now try to be straight again, yeah?"

"I've always been straight", Taehyung hummed and Jungkook lost it and started laughing.
"Heard that before."
With that he left the room, he didn't feel needed here anymore.

Jimin bit his lips and then rushed after Jungkook. He didn't say a single word the whole time, kept staring at Jungkook and almost cried.
"Kook!", he shouted, limping as fast as his injured foot made it possible.
"What?!", Jungkook turned around and raised an eyebrow. "Just leave me alone. Please."

"Kookie, please. Try to see it on the bright side, oh my god I know this sucks, I feel so bad and sorry but at least you can stay in the band now!"
Jimin tried his best, reaching for Jungkook's hands to comfort him but Jungkook pushed him away instantly.
"So you seriously think that means something to me?", he laughed again, this time bitterly with tears welling up.

"I just lost everything. There is literally not a single fucking thing left for me to hold on, so would you kindly fuck off now? I'm done, Jimin. I'm done with this whole bullshit. Let me get some coffee and chocolate now and then stop talking to me. It's not like anyone of you ever even tried to talk to me for real before, so let me be now."
With that the boy turned around, wiped the tears away and then went down to the cafeteria and got himself some coffee and chocolate. Then made his way home.

This evening they all were back in their dorm, the injured ones got all of them a whole week off which they decided to stay home together. To finally get things right between all of them. Namjoon forced them after seeing Jin sitting all by himself because no one actually wanted to talk or sit with him.

"Where's Jungkook?", Hoseok asked softly, the younger was still missing for dinner. He didn't leave his room at all since they came home.
"I'll go look after him", Taehyung offered but Jin only raised an eyebrow. "Why?"

"Maybe he's upset-"

"You shouldn't care about someone you don't even know, Taehyung." Jin rolled his eyes. "I'll go look after him."

"Oh, no. You're not", Namjoon groaned. "I'll go."
He got up and walked upstairs, knocked on the boy's door and opened it when Jungkook answered with a "No!".

"Dinner's ready, Kook", Namjoon said softly.
"Not hungry."
"At least come downstairs, talk to us."
Jungkook shook his head, "There's no one I want to talk with, sorry. Leave."

Namjoon stilled, feeling a little offended by him.

"This whole thing with Taehyung.. I'm sorry it happened", Namjoon whispered, still awkwardly standing in the doorframe.
"No, you're not. Stop lying." Jungkook didn't even look up from the videogame he was playing.

"Everyone seems pretty chill about it", Jungkook shrugged, "It's funny how no one cares that Taehyung got hurt if it saved your dumbasses. Your fucking band would be nothing without us. It's 7 or none."

"Stop cursing, Jungkook. Please. Y'know Jin hates it."

"So what? How comes you're always having the same opinion he has? Funny coincidence, hm?", Jungkook laughed slightly.
"Now get the fuck out of my fucking room you dumbfuck."

"That's a lot of cursing-", Namjoon gulped, impressed by Jungkook's sharp mouth. He never behaved like that before.
"I'll forgive you because I know you're just hurt and you didn't mean it-"

"Didn't ask for your forgiveness."

"Well but-"

"No, shut up. Get out. Go suck Jin's dick like you always do, and don't tell me you don't, I'm pretty smart, even if y'all see me as a dumb kid." He chuckled lightly, still eyeing his video game where he just shot several people at once.

"Heck, yea", he squeaked out, bunny smile plastering all over his face, his cheeks puffing up even more. Namjoon sighed, their youngest really was adorable.
"You're not a dumb kid, Kookie", Namjoon then hummed, stepping closer. He reached for Jungkook's shoulder to pat but the boy pulled away as fast as he could.

"Don't touch me! Go away!", this time he shouted.

Namjoon startled and stepped back. "Okay, s-sorry!", he grumbled annoyed.

"I'd say it's fine but it's not."

Namjoom couldn't help but wonder why he never heard Jungkook talking that seriously before. Usually he always shut up or said dumb things. But right now, he was actually saying things that meant something.

"I'd be glad if you'd come downstairs, but you really don't have to." He left the room quietly and walked back downstairs. As he sat back down, the others looked at him questioningly because he didn't come back with their youngest.

"He doesn't want to."

Jin lifted his eyebrows, pissed off. "Since when do we care?! Force him, he has to eat."

"No. Actually I won't. Try your luck", Namjoon shrugged, then started eating quietly.

Jin rolled his eyes, "Yeah, watch me."
He got up, rushed upstairs and walked in without even knocking. "Jungkook, dinner is ready", he groaned.

No answer.
Jungkook kept playing his game, not giving a single shit about the boy's appearance.

"Oh, you're being a brat?", Jin chuckled and walked closer, ripping the cable off his computer. "Come downstairs, now."

No answer.
Jungkook lifted his head, eyeing Jin wordlessly, his gaze fully unimpressed.

"You think you can just ignore me? You should be thankful. Everyone is still nice to you even though you almost costed us our career, just because you had to break any given rules."
Jungkook laughed. Nice to him.

"You can't push us away, we'll always be here. We're family."

Jungkook got up from his chair slowly.

"Actually, I'm glad that shit happened to Taehyung. Hopefully he won't remember ever, he should just stay away. He's such a bad influence, I mean look at you. You're pushing even me away, I've always been the most important to you! He makes you a worse person. Wish he would've been kicked out."
Jin finally shut up when Jungkook tilted his head in disbelief.

"Wish you would've been in that car. Alone."
He finally said and then left the room so he wouldn't have to watch the older any longer. As he reached the table, he sat down quietly.

"Hello", Taehyung said awkwardly but Jungkook only turned his head towards him, smiling a little bit. "Bye."
He grabbed a plate, filled it with food and then got on the couch, eating there so no one could talk to him.

*

"He's coping pretty well with it, don't you think?", Yoongi asked Jimin this evening while they were sitting on the couch and watched one of their favorite movies. "A little too well if you ask me." Jimin hummed. "I didn't see him crying once."

"Jungkook never showed emotions to any of us. Only towards Tae", Yoongi said slowly, while he brushed through Jimin's hair deeply in thoughts.
"Who would he cry to, now that Tae's gone?", he added, expressions fading away while a sad one took place on his face.
"We're horrible friends", Jimin whispered. "He's 16 and instead of supporting him, all we do is making everything worse."

Yoongi shrugged, "I never did anything bad to them, can't blame me for any shit." He raised his hands in defense, "I'm everything but not a bad friend."
Jimin nodded, "Sorry, you're right. I still feel bad", his eyes darted away,

"I hope he gets over it and will move on", Yoongi hummed. "Or maybe Taehyung will just fall for him all over again? I mean what's meant to be will always find a way, right-"

"You've read too many fanfictions."

"Oh, c'mon this surely feels like one", Yoongi rolled his eyes.
"People don't magically fall back in love in real life, Yoongi. Either you love someone or you don't. There's no such thing as forgetting the one who owns your heart."

Yoongi gritted his teeth, "Alright, Professor Love Doctor."

Jimin smiled proudly, "Call me that in bed and I'll top you maybe."

"You never do", Yoongi pouted and crossed his arms. "Which sucks!"

Jimin smirked, "It really is hard to keep a relationship between two bottoms going-"
Yoongi nodded and then hugged Jimin tightly. "Yeah, but at least none of us is a dumb asshole. Tops tend to be that-"

"Are you topophobic?", Jimin exclaimed, acting dramatically shocked.

"No, just bottom-biased."

"You guys are weird", a deep voice behind them made them flinch around. Taehyung stood there, looking down a little embarrassed. "Do you have time to do something with me? I'm bored and everyone except you hates me-"

"Oh, hi", Jimin frowned. "Did you hear what we just said-"

"I knew you were both bottoms anyway, way too nice for being a cliché top."

"But you're nice too and you're a top-", Jimin said.

"Not nice in bed, ask-- J-jennie."

Yoongi furrowed his brow, "Jennie?"
"She's my girlfriend, right?", Taehyung asked confused but the others only shared a look. "She's not anymore-"
"A-ah okay", Taehyung turned around, wanting to hurry away.

"Stop", Yoongi said. "Sit down!"
Taehyung flinched, cursed to his inner self and then sat down, a smile appearing on his lips. "Why?", he asked softly. "Just wanna talk to you for a bit. So what else don't you remember?"

"How am I supposed to answer this", Taehyung sighed quietly. Yoongi shrugged, "Mhm, yeah this was nonsense. Anyways, what do you think about Jungkook?"

"He's n-nice-", Taehyung gulped. "Pretty too."
Jimin coughed, "Please don't let Yoongi's predictions come true", he sighed. "It'll make me look dumb-"
Taehyung raised an eyebrow, "What are you saying?"

"Yoongi thinks you guys will fall in love again", Jimin explained. "Obviously that's just bullshit he read in a book."

Taehyung nodded, "I don't feel attracted to him, sorry Yoongi-, I m-mean he's nice and all and he's got such a pretty face, those lips ughhh- but no. attraction. I. swear."

Fun fact, Jungkook stood right behind them. He came downstairs to grab a snack but the conversation was interesting so he listened.
Now he laughed out loudly. "So straight", he only said and then sat down with them, eyeing Taehyung highkey amused.
"So tell me, what's your favorite memory now that I'm wiped out of your tiny brain?"

"Oh- he's mean to him too", Jimin grinned.

"I don't know -", Tae hesitated to say. He really was scared of that part of Jungkook. Darkness surrounding him, no light in those doey eyes and lips pressed against each other while his eyes could pierce through anything.
"You should remember something that made you happy though."

"Why won't you tell me about your favorite memory rather?"

Jungkook grinned. "Oh, that's easy. It's when I topped you and you cried because my dick is so huge."

Taehyung gulped, biting his lips as he forced himself to look down, not into Jungkook's eyes.

"Or, when you cried because I sucked Jimin's dick."

Now Taehyung and Yoongi sat up, "Wait what-", Yoongi squeaked.
"That never happened", Jimin sighed.

"It could have tho", Jungkook shrugged.
"No, it couldn't. I don't want your mouth anywhere near my dick." Jimin snapped.

"Only Amnesia- Taehyung can relate", Jungkook leaned back and watched Taehyung, eyes softening when the boy pouted a little. Their eyes met for the blink of an eye, Taehyung unable to maintain any eye contact with the younger.

"Respect your ex and his sickness, please", Yoongi rolled his eyes.
Jungkook giggled a little, "Trust me, if I wouldn't, I'd treat him like I treat Namjoon and his dumbfuck of a boyfriend-"

"Kook-", Jimin hummed. "They're still our family."

"Wrong. None of you are my family. My family was Taehyung, now I'm my own family, thanks for trying tho."
Jungkook got up and left them there, Taehyung feeling even worse about himself.
Jimin gave him a look, Yoongi focused back on the movie in silence and no one talked for a while.

"I'm going to bed", Taehyung hummed when he glanced at the watch, got up and went upstairs to brush his teeth and take a shower.

Jungkook meanwhile sat in his bedroom, staring at his phone as if he was considering to write a message but in the end he decided against it and threw his phone on his bed, pressing his hands against his face.
He wasn't even alone yet he felt so lonely. There was no one to talk to, no one to tell his worries too, no one to give him advice.

It just sucked, everything only got worse and every single person in here pissed him off extremely.
Jin came in earlier this evening again, trying to talk to Jungkook again but only got a book thrown at his head. Kook always dreamed of doing that.

While he just kept cursing mentally at everyone he knew, his phone started ringing.
Kook got up, somehow hoping it was Taehyung but accepted the call as soon as he saw it was his brother.

"Kookiedou!", he cheered into the phone.
"Freakiedou!", Kook said softly as a smile formed on his plump lips. "Wanna come over??", he asked, sounding a little worried.

"Actually, yes", Jungkook hopped up in excitement.
"I knew it. It's my brother effect! Told ya I'm a magican!"

"You told me that when we were like -; 5."
Junghyun pouted hearable on the other end of the call. "I don't want to grow up yet."

"Me neither. Life's better when everyone loves and cares for you. Adulting and dealing with shit comes with anger issues-"
Jungkook ranted but when Junghyun chuckled, Kook did so as well.

"I'll be there in half an hour, don't worry I know the way", Jungkook promised and then hung the call, packed a bag and rushed downstairs.
He was about to grab a snack and steal some sweets to share with his brother while he got so excited of finally being around someone he loved with all his heart.

His good mood dropped when he saw Taehyung leaning against the kitchen counter, smirking a little.
Jungkook rolled his eyes only and then pushed food into his bag, along with some coke.

"Hi", Taehyung said again, awkwardly.

"Stop 'Hi-ing' me", Kook snapped and threw an apple at him.

"Still throwing things when you're angry?", Taehyung softly said while he finally walked closer, approaching Jungkook.

"You're just such a bad liar, it physically hurts to see", Jungkook smiled a little while saying that.

Taehyung started to smile as well, brighter than he had for quite a while already.

"Have fun with your brother, babie."
