it's that time of year again!

throughout this year i used apple music. over the last several years i've noticed i tend to switch between apple music and spotify every year or so since they're the same price and i get them cheaper bc of the student discount. i think i get irritated by how many playlists accumulate in my library, and instead of going through and deleting some i just... switch streaming apps and have a clean slate lmao.

the fact that i've already switched over to spotify for next year (i tend to do it in years / at the end of the year, rather than like halfway through, for no reason other than so the statistics are more accurate pshhhh) is so funny to me.

that being said, i must've listened to the occasional song on spotify throughout this year, because they've given me a wrapped lol... but first. apple music!

APPLE MUSIC REPLAY

my birthday is on the 22nd, so the fact i've listened to 22k minutes brings me a lot of joy for no reason lmao.

noah my man!!!!!! it's the 1.5k minutes jump from 1st to 2nd place for me. but i absolutely had no doubt he'd be high up in my stats, i listened to him so much this year it's crazy. i'm seeing him on tour next year and i am so SO excited.

i really got into hozier's music this year and OH BOY am i obsessed. i cannot emphasise this enough.

taylor, maisie, and gracie were all expected tbh! the only other person i can think of who i thought might make it on here is sabrina carpenter, and maybe olivia rodrigo.

once again the gap between 1st and 2nd place is INSANE. i also thought i had better give my top 10 because my top 5 is not very varied at all lmao. *no complaints* though, cuz it's noah. i was so obsessed (and still am) with dial drunk omfg.

one thing i do love about apple music replay is that they give you your most listened to album too, which imo is super cool. i'm actually not surprised at the results of this one very much either. these are all albums i really enjoy as a whole body of work put on shuffle, if that makes sense... like the vibes are there.

i'm adding this spotify section purely for laughs.

the fact that fine line is my top song here with *2* streams. surely that must mean i listened to the other 4 top songs only once pshhhh. they're not bad songs though (i mean, clean, would that i, and ivy... mwah!) however i'm not even sure i recognise that last one...? maybe if i went and listened to it haha.

well... best 43 minutes of my life!

tbh top 3 artists are pretty accurate anyway. i don't listen to harry that much and i'm not even sure who the paper kites are help.

THIS one made me chuckle. apparently 538 minutes equals to "0.3 days nonstop" lmao.

and that's it! what did everyone else think of their wrapped? i know it's not even 2024 year but i'm excited for next year since i'm properly back with spotify now hehe!
