i!!! love!!! movies!!!!!!!

i got letterboxd at the start of 2023 and i actually love it so much like it is soo fun to me??? and some people leave the funniest reviews i swear. it's such a fun way to keep track of what films you've watched and you can make lists and see what you're friends are watching and everything. it's so great.

apparently there are around 11.8 days in 283 hours, so i basically watched movies for 12 days straight this year. that's like just over 3% lol. i love statistics.

out of the 144 diary entries, a bunch of them were just rewatches, but we'll get to that soon...

most of this feels fairly consistent tbh?? also pretty accurate lol. interesting that thursday was my most popular day though!

i'm also fairly certain that the spike in watches in december was christmas movies LMAO

started the year off strong with soul. literally one of my fav fav fav movies maybe ever. there's something so special about it. and then ended the year with tbosas 🙈 i saw it when it first came out and wanted to go see it again before it left the cinemas! i've had the music stuck in my head for weeks omg.

i'm not even gonna try to explain myself. puss in boots the last wish goes HARD. everything from the animation, the storyline, the dialogue... MWAH! i was obsessed with the first film when i was a kid so you know i was gonna be obsessed with this one now.

both set it up and the internship are so fun to watch for me. and then, anytime i watch knives out i gotta follow it up with glass onion lol. i would lay my life down for benoit blanc.

my top genres are so accurate. i do love a good romcom.

my most anticipated movies that are coming out this year are probably mean girls and the new ghostbusters movie??? tbh i genuinely can't think of what's coming out this year apart from those two... help. still. all very exciting stuff i reckon.

i'm also hoping to watch more movies i haven't seen before because i've got so many on my watch-list it's crazy.
