Loud footsteps was heard from a certain caramel brunette boy that went rushing in the building holding a medium sized red heart shaped box filled with different kinds of chocolate in it for a very special someone he's been dreading to see ever since yesterday.

"Lee Jeno?!" He said and went up to the front desk lady who had been looking at her faded white acrylic nails with a nametag Wendy , The lady looked up and saw the brunette boy panting and looked stressed

She softly smiled and replied "room 230,4th floor" (btw if you get the numbers then Ily uwu), he nodded and was about to run off but the lady spoke again "please do take care of him,he needs it" but weirdly enough she didn't have a sad smile...no it almost looked like a very excited kind of smile

He gave a confused look and a quick nod before running towards the elevator excusing himself to the people he bumped in to

"Bitches get outta my way,I need to see him"

He pressed the buttons a little bit to hard probably almost broke his finger and earned looks from two other people in the elevator.

Once he heard the sound indicating they arrived at the floor the lady told him and saw the door opening,he dashi run run out of there frantically looking for the room number holding the box of chocolates tightly.

"AHA!"

He gave a light knock not wanting to seem rude or scare the patient inside,he almost didn't hear an answer and was about to panic until a faded and soft "come in" was heard

He slowly opened the door and saw a boy with soft jet black hair,sharp jaw line,tall but boopable nose,fluffy cheeks,soft milky white skin,pink plump lips,if you look closer you can see a cute mole under his left eye,long but pretty eyelashes,small dark brown sparkling eyes that's gaze was at the window looking at the outside world in deep thought.

The boy he had been thinking about since he heard the news yesterday,he softly smiled and entered,closing the door afterwards and walked closer to the small fragile boy

"Jeno-ah" he softly called the boy's name,but the boy didn't move,instead his gaze was still at the window. Wondering what would it be like if he wasn't in this stupid big ass building in a stupid white and boring room with a stupid heart disease.

"What if I didn't had the disease?"

"Why me?"

"I could have been outside right now"

"I could have been playing with Lele and Hyuckie"

"I could be with Mark hyung playing video games"

"I could be with Jisung spying on Renjun and YangYang's not so secret date"

"I could be with momma Doyoung in the bakery helping him"

"I could be with Ten hyung listening to him babying me or ranting of how a bitch Johnny is but sadly hot"

"Also could be with Jaehyunie feeding me"

"Yuta hyung and Sicheng hyung arguing how the other has been cheating"

"Taeil hyung getting scolded by momma doey for being late or lazy"

"Lucas hyung getting in trouble and almost burning me with a tray fresh out of the oven"

"I could be with Jungwoo hyung also babying me but telling me how scary and threatening Jaemin had been with him everytime we hang out"

"Nana and I would be cuddling or having a date right about now"

"Or I could be at least at home in my baby pink room and laying on my pink with fluffy and sparkling clouds bed wrapped around my baby blue blanky"

"Jeno don't think about it darling,you'll be okay" the younger gently took the fragile boy's cheek and directed it towards him but to no avail the older boy's gaze was still at the window.

Ah yes,Lee Jeno was a fragile and sensitive boy,diagnosed with a weak heart just 5 years ago and depression from 2 years ago.

He didn't really know why he was weak, why he thought of those scary things, why he would cut his soft milky white skin at times, why he would easily get tired, why his heart would start to hurt if he worked to much and why he had to get the sickness.

Jeno has a difficult life,living in a poor but dangerous neighborhood where gangs would gather around to mess with poor innocent people which unfortunately Jeno was included,start a fight,cops arrive,some would scramble off,others would fight against but get caught and repeat.

Jeno was thin,too thin(Lmao look it's me😔) for other people's liking,getting sexually harassed by almost any guy he walks by,and getting judged for anything he does. He doesn't have enough food to eat as he always gave most of it to his dada -who was very nice and hard working despite his now growing old body- ignoring the worried looks his dada gives him.

They had lost their other light of their small family, his papa. Jeno's biological mother had left them when she couldn't accept the fact her two boys -her husband and son- was gay. But it's not like Jeno and his father cared,she was a plastic bitch anyways,never once cared and always mocked or make fun of homosexual people.

But they did care when his papa lost his life from some gang that tried to rape Jeno, getting stabbed in the stomach,falling onto the cold,cracked concrete floor,blood oozing out and lifeless.

Despite all the hard times his dada and him went through,they both still took care of each other,making sure the other person was ok,but Jeno refused all the extra things his dada gave him like food and money,thinking his dada should keep it since it's his money that was used and said he wanted to use his own money for things,not from dada.

Jaemin had known Jeno from school,but they weren't close until he had saw the small older boy at the school garden -in his supposed to be 4th period- laying on the well trimmed light green grass,surrounded by baby pink flowers called Azalea, baby blue flowers called Periwinkle Blue Peonies, and Empire Butterfly bush nearby attracting a few butterflies with different colors flying around the boy.

He thought the boy was beautiful and ethereal,and decided to come closer to him as a friend but we all know where that leads to

The two boys grew closer as months pass by,both of them knowing each other too much to the point where if they just looked at each other's eyes for jisoos knows how long,they immediately know what the other person was feeling or thinking

and after a year Jaemin had finally stopped being a wimp and asked his best friend to become his boyfriend

In which of course the soft black haired boy hugged him with tears of joy saying "yes" a million times,passers would probably think it was a proposal but it was just a simple

"uhm,Nono would you like to- uhm..shit wait what was I about to say?"

"What is it nana? ~"

"wait don't look at me like that!"

"Like what?" He pouted

"Y'know what? Fuck it,JenoLeewouldyouliketobemyoneandonlybeautifulkindlovingandcuteassboyfriend?"

And i guess y'know what the boy said already smh,ever since then, Jaemin protected and took care of his now boyfriend making sure he's well fed, slept well, not to trip on things, not get cold, not catch a cold, and more importantly making sure he's Loved

Anyways so on Jeno's heart was still weak,but it was still curable. He was sent to the hospital three months ago after he had cried out,screaming and clutching his chest saying "hurt!" Before he saw his boyfriend and his dada running towards him,picking him up and driving him to the hospital.

You might be thinking "bitch then why the fuck was Jaemin looking like he was bouta break down and shit?" Well lemme tell you that just yesterday the boy had received a call from their mother like figure- Doyoung saying he needs to go to Jeno the next day and that he has news.

Which is where he was today,looking at his boyfriend who still was in deep thought. "Baby,can you please look at me sweetheart? Nana wants to speak to you love" the latter finally looked at him and gave a weak smile "Hewo nana~"

The said boy sighed and put the box of chocolates on the table nearby,laying on the bed beside his lover wrapping his arms around him earning the fragile boy gave out a giggle and hugging back

It was quiet for a while,a comfortable one,where you don't need to talk or bring a topic up but just enjoying your lovers presence and comfort. Jaemin was humming a song while rubbing Jeno's back with his right hand and caressing his soft black bed hair with his left hand.

He loves moments like this- correction: they both love moments like this.

It was quiet until Jaemin finally spoke up "so Doyoung hyung said I had to come here as there was news? I guess? But do you mind telling me what the news is baby? I got so worried when he said your name,I thought you were having nightmares or no one was taking care of you or if you were hungry and there wasn't any food,hence why I bought the chocolates by the way"

He rambled looking at his lover with a soft but worried gaze, to his surprise Jeno gave a cute eye smile showing his pearly white teeth

"Doctor Irene said I'm getting better now,both the heart disease and my depression from my therapy sessions with Seokmin hyung" he softly whispered

Jaemin's eyes went big and his mind was processing what his boyfriend had just said

He's getting better

My baby is getting better

Jeno's getting better

Lee Jeno is getting better

He couldn't believe after all of their hardwork on earning money for medicines,food and hospital bills...it had paid off.

He soon broke out into a wide smile and kissed the black haired boy on his pink plump lips,smile never left while at it

Jeno kissed back and also smiled into the kiss,soon they both pulled away for air,cheeks in a shade of pink to red and smiling like idiots- i mean cuties *ehem* excuse me-

"I'm staying until you get out of here by the way" Jaemin said

"Wait what? Minnie noooo~ ok it's not like I don't want you to but you have to go home too" Jeno pouted, worried Jaemin might get in trouble for not going home or he's wasting his time staying with him for a few weeks until he's charged out

"Jeno I am home when I'm with you" Jaemin said with a wide smile causing the said boy to blush hard and lightly slapped his chest

He then buried his head to the brunette's chest and mumbled "stopppp~" causing the boy to laugh at his baby's cuteness

Jaemin then kissed his forehead, his eyes, his boopable nose, both side of his fluffy cheeks and finally his lips

"I love you so much Jeno"

"I love you too Jaemin"

Both continued cuddling,giving each other kisses here and there,and listening to each other's rants about what has happened while they were separated

Soon enough it had been a few hours until Jaemin didn't hear Jeno reply or talk,looking down he saw his boyfriend had fallen asleep on his chest,his left hand laying on his stomach,eyelashes were visible,snoring softly and may or may not be slightly drooling..? But Jaemin didn't mind,he thought it was cute...adorable even

He looked so innocent,soft,peaceful and representing between a cat -because of his duality and softness- and a puppy -because of his features and puppy eyes-

He pulled him closer and hugged him tighter,giving a long kiss on the top of his forehead while caressing his soft hair saying a soft,loving but audible "you're so perfect baby,you may think you have a weak heart but no...you have a Strong Heart for fighting through this,You're so strong Jeno-ah. I love you so much Love" before drifting off to sleep,joining his beloved on dreamland.

The room was soon quiet after that, all you could hear were soft snores and a slight shuffle in the bed sheets from the two boys going closer for warmth,comfort,and obviously love,finally settling in a spooning position dreaming about each other with smiles on their faces.

What Jaemin didn't know was that Jeno heard what he said,smiling softly,heart doing weird karate moves and feeling those butterflies in his stomach like everytime they're around each other.

"I love you so much too Jaeminnie"

Lee Jeno indeed has a Strong Heart
