Planeptune's Basilicom

It's been a week since the chaos in Lastation occured. Right now, Uni, Noire and you stayed at Planeptune's Basilicom while awaiting the repairs for Lastation's Basilicom. You spent the day the "Neptune" way. Which means games and slacking off. But with Noire here...

Noire: Seriously you guys...

<drift sounds>

Neptune: I'll like to see you beat that!

Y/N: Easy.

<drift sounds>

Neptune: Nepu?! Your points are higher than mine?!

Y/N: You're not bad yourself.

The both of you ignored Noire and looked at the final drifting scores. Your points were 10 points higher than Neptune.

Neptune: I will not accept this! After training for centuries... I will not accept this! One more!

Neptune tried to restart the game but the screen blacked out.

Neptune & Y/N: Huh?

Noire: That's enough playing you two. You've been doing this since the day we came here. Also Y/N, are you trying to become like Neptune?

Y/N: Alls well that ends well.

Neptune chuckled at the both of you. Noire who seemed annoyed at both your attitudes just sighed.

Histoire: Noire's right.

The three of you looked at Histoire. You got up to ask her about the transfer to your world. You had already asked her last week about it and she said she was going to research about it.

Histoire: Opening gates to other dimensions is one thing, but finding the exact location is another. There are more dimensions than you think. So its going to take more then a week to get it.

Y/N: I see...

You felt a little bit down but you cheered up not long after that. Besides, you don't have the luxury to weep.

Histoire: But other than that, I received a dangerous energy is being collected.

This got everyones' attention.

Histoire: It's resonating the same kind of energy like the Anti-Crystal. I believe this is related to Mira's incident.

Neptune: Looks like we're going to kick someone right out of their pudding.

Noire: Where is this energy coming from?

Histoire: It's an extremely dangerous place called Corrupted Valley. It's a place where all the corruption in Gamindustri is placed.

Neptune: Spooky~ <Bang> Ow! What was that for?! You could've cracked open my skull and ended this story!

Noire: What story?

Neptune: Oh, you know~

Noire: <sigh> So I'm guessing you want us the professionals, to handle this?

Histoire: It's not because you are professionals is why I asked you. But you're the only one who can go.

Y/N: So only CPUs can go to this place?

Histoire: Yes. If possible I would like you to join but the aura there is enough to make a normal person suicide. CPUs are immune to this aura.

Y/N: But you did say something about the energy being the same as the Anti-Crystal. Wouldn't that make it dangerous for CPUs?

Histoire silenced for a moment. But she replied after thinking for a while.

Histoire: I'll place a vaccine to the CPU core that will make them temporarily immune to it.

Neptune: Um... do we have to take an injection for that?

Noire: Don't be a wimp.

Histoire: I'll make it an accessory so you don't have to worry.

Noire and Neptune nodded to each other saying they were okay with it. But you can't help feel worried. After all, most of your adventures had always been with Noire.

Noire: I'll be fine Y/N. I am a goddess. Trying to kill me is close to futile.

Y/N: Just be careful.

Noire flashed you a smile before walking with a chuckling Neptune.

Noire: W-What are you laughing at?!

Neptune: N-o-t-h-i-n-g~

Noire: C-Come here, you!

And with that Noire chased Neptune out of the game room. You smiled weakly at this. You turned around to off the console and went to your room which is Nepgear's room but she moved to Neptune's room along with Noire and Uni. You wanted to take a cat nap and that's what you did.

Timeskip & Y/N's P.O.V

1 week has passed since the goddesses. Yes, all the CPU's including their little sisters. It is a dangerous mission. But 1 week is little bit too long for a single mission. I'm beginning to have doubts about this mission. I couldn't get a good night's sleep. So I decided to go there myself. It's better to do something than to wait and rot here.

I sneaked out of the Basilicom at night to avoid suspicions.

Y/N: I might as well prepare myself...<beep> Hmm?

A notification message on my phone appeared. I hoped it was Noire and the rest but it was just Prof. Kira. Though it contains useful information.

Y/N: "The swords you got can be fused together to make it stronger than making it individuals. But it takes up more of your stamina and I don't have information on which sword goes where." Even so, thanks for the email Professor.

I typed out those words and sent it to the Professor. He replied it with a "No problem ;-)". My problem now is I don't know where Corrupted Valley is. Even if I did know, I might need a transport.

Y/N: Maybe the guild can help me...

You entered the guild. It still had a lot of people despite it being midnight. I guess quest time is any time. While I was looking around I accidently bumped into a brown haired girl who has leaf hairclips.

Y/N: Sorry, I wasn't looking where I was going.

???: It's okay. It's my fault too.

When you got up, you offered her a hand and she gladly accepted it.

???: Hmm... are you by any chance new here?

Y/N: Yeah... The name's Y/N L/N. But call me Y/N.

IF: The name's IF. Since you're new here, do you need a hand?

Y/N: That'll be great!

IF: So what are you looking for?

Y/N: A place called Coruption Valley.

Everyone in that room silenced for a while. Even IF was shocked. I don't understand why.

IF: Why are you going there? You do know that place has no treasure nor a living being. It's technically a suicide place.

Y/N: I know. But I must go there. Someone important is over there.

IF: So this is some sort of rescue op is it? But your friend must have died-

Y/N: I have to go! I'm running out of time. If you're not going to help me than leave me.

I was getting a little bit infuriated. I tried to walk pass IF but she stopped me.

IF: If you're that desperate than I don't have a choice. Here's the map. Be extremely careful.

Y/N: Thanks a lot.

I took a look at the map. It was exactly as I expected. I need to take some sort of transport to reach there.

Y/N: IF?

IF: Is there a problem?

Y/N: Do you have something that could take me there?

<screech>

IF stopped right in front of the valley or I would call it now Hell. IF insisted on bringing me here on her bike. I had no choice but accept.

IF: Whatever you're doing I wish you good luck.

Y/N: I can't thank you enough IF.

She smiled before driving back to the Basilicom. I'll take that as a good luck charm. With that I entered Hell.

The smell here is not as bad as I thought but it didn't smell nice either. This place looks a deserted wasteland. No signs of life. The aura is constantly making my body weak but my spirit is not going to be easily dampen.

I've walked for almost an hour until...

<boom>

I could see smoke and a pink beam shot. The one's with that kind of shot I know is Uni. All my fatigue disappeared and I ran with Demon on my left and Demolition on the right.

Y/N: (Wait you guys... I'm coming...)

Timeskip & 3rd P.O.V

<clang>

Nepgear(HDD): <pant> <pant>

Grandvill: Don't worry. I won't kill you. I just need that strength you have.

Nepgear(HDD): <pant> I... won't... lose...

Grandvill: Useless spirit.

Before Grandvill could crush Nepgear, you jumped in between and blocked his hammer with Demolition. You pushed his hammer back and stood in front of Nepgear.

Y/N: That beam was your doing was it?

The weak Nepgear can only nod to your answer. She's tooken quite the beating. Her processor suit was in tatters. You gripped your sword firmly while giving Grandvill a death stare.

Y/N: Where is the rest?

Grandvill: Are you the Wielder of the 6 Bla-

Y/N: Answer my damn question!

Grandvill pointed behind him. Everyone was tangled by wires. They were all still in their HDD form. They were beaten up as well. But you mainly focused on Noire. Nothing but anger filled you.

Grandvill: Now, answer my question. Are you the Wielder of the 6 Blades?

Y/N: No... I'm... not... I'm Y/N L/N! You better remember that because that's the person who's going to defeat you!

Grandvill: Interesting.

You turned back to Nepgear who isstruggling to get up. You gave her a hand and made her stood up. You switched Demon with another Demolition.

Y/N: Nepgear... I'll buy some time for you to free everyone.

Nepgear(HDD): But his strength exceeds all of the CPU's strength. You won't last a second.

Y/N: I know... but I don't intend on losing here. Once you got them out bring them out of here.

You smiled at Nepgear who is worried about you. But she soon understood and went to save the CPUs.

Grandvill: I won't allow tha-

You charged at Grandvill attempting to finish him with Demolition but he blocked it with his hammer. He pushed you away with ease but you were almost sent flying. You stabbed the ground with Demolition to stop yourself.

Grandvill: You thought that was enough?

Y/N: Nope. But I wished it was. Destruction Rush!

You charged at him a little bit faster this time and did your 10-hit combo. But his armour was barely scratched.

Y/N: (Who the hell is this guy?!)

Grandvill: Come on! Aero Smasher!

He swinged his hammer to create a wind shot. The wind was too large for you too dodge. You skillfully changed Demolition with Demon again and sliced the wind. It's like you thought, the wind got absorbed into the blade. You made a landing and looked at him once more.

Grandvill: I commend you for making it this far. A normal human in Corrupted Valley shouldn't be able to last this long.

You were breathing heavily. Your body felt weaker as time passes.

Grandvill: The goddesses aside, you were the first human to be able to stand up to me. I will take the honour of defeating you in my full power.

Y/N: You were holding back?!

You barely could withstand his current attacks. If he were to fight at full power who knows how long you could last. His armour released steam and it fell to the ground. After the steam cleared his true form has been shown.

Nepgear's P.O.V

I hope Y/N is fine. My body is quite tired as I can't transform back. If I did the aura here will make me faint. I saved all of them already but Y/N is continuing to fight.

Neptune(HDD): Thanks, Nepgear but did you defeat that guy?

Nepgear(HDD): No...

Uni(HDD): Then, who is?

Nepgear(HDD): ...Y/N...

Noire looked shocked.

Noire(HDD): Wait, Y/N's fighting that guy?!

Nepgear(HDD): He's right now buying time for us to escape.

Noire(HDD): Escape?! Leaving him alone here?

All I could do is nod. Noire looked worried. She stared at the battlefield where Y/N and Grandvill is fighting.

3rd P.O.V

<boom>

You were sent flying but before you could stop, Grandvill flew to you at an insane speed and smashed you with a barrage. After beating you up to a pulp, he axe kicked you on the head and you were falling like a meteor creating a crater on the ground. You could barely stand let alone even carry Demolition.

Grandvill: It's over. Grand Fracture!

He was charging his hammer as that was the requirements for his EXE Drive.

Y/N: (Is this the end? No, I won't lose!)

You stood up and brought out all your swords putting them on the ground. You only had one choice of surviving. Creating Machina. Of course it was like a puzzle. You had to figure out which piece goes where.

Y/N: (I don't have the time to think dammit!)

Grandvill was already halfway there. His hammer is surrounded with a dark aura. You picked up Tempest and Demon fusing that together to make the edge. Both Demolition on the back. But before you could finish the last two pieces, Grandvill is already done.

Grandvill: Sayonara (goodbye) Y/N L/N!

You bit your lips hard causing it to bleed. You picked up the incomplete Machina and a Gear Blade. Grandvill charged down like a meteor. You prepared yourself and atempted a counter. When the both of you collided.

<boom>

Noire(HDD): Y/N!

The dust cleared. The both of you were still standing. But it wasn't long until you spat out blood and fell to the ground unconscious. On the other hand Grandvill fell on one knee and his hammer was cracked along with his armour. Noire flew to you as if she just woke up. She prepared her sword but mainly just to protect you.

Noire stopped at where you were while pointing her sword at Grandvill. While doing this she checked whether you were still alive or not which miraculously you were.

Noire(HDD): Thank goodness.

Everyone else followed Noire while readying their weapons despite their fatigue. But Grandvill's response shocked most of them.

Grandvill: I admit defeat.

He struggled to stand up. But once he did he took out a warp crystal and teleported everyone there. After they were teleported to a house, the goddesses were forcefully reverted back because of fatigue. Noire placed your head on her lap like the day you were unconscious in the park. They all looked around confused but Grandvill gave them an explanation.

Grandvill: Well everyone, this is my home. Do make yourselves comfortable. Anyways, I owe you guys an apology for beating you up.

Blanc: I'm confused. You were trying to suck off our energy and now you're apologising?

Grandvill: You see... I'm a mercenary for hire. A person called Phantom Virus hired me to steal your energy. I was against it by will but considering that I'm not getting enough gold to compensate my family's living I had no choice. The sum he offered was ridiculously high and he was willing to pay in advance. If I were to complete it he would times 5 the reward.

Vert: How much did he offer?

Grandvill: In advance he payed 1 million.

Villain's base

Virus: It seems like Grandvill has played his part. It's a shame that Grandvill had a soft side to him.

Virus walked down an empty hallway to find a room full of machines working on "something"...

Virus: But that boy... not only he defeated Grandvill but Mira too. Wielder of the 6 Blades... no... Y/N L/N, I can't wait to see you...

The End: Chapter 7: A Worthy Opponent

And that is what they say is that. It turns out Grandvill is nice and well, stronger than you. Sorry if I didn't get to include Rom and Ram in the dialogue but it's hard to make everyone talking.

I think I did well in this chapter. I'll see you guys in the next chapter which might have more explanations and maybe, some service if you know what I mean.
