-Time Skip to Late Teens-

"Still wearing that headband huh?" Corrin teased.
"Pfft... You seem to be still wearing yours." Leo said playfully.
"Well you know it'd be okay if you took it off. I'd understand. It was just a stupid promise we made when we were little..." she said sort of cocky.
"You know the ladies don't necessarily like it all that much." She teased.
Leo was sort of hurt by Corrin's words. Was she serious right now? He clearly was confused. He grabbed her hand, pulled her towards him, and had hugged her tightly.
"L-Leo? What are you doing?" She blushed nervously.
"I don't know if you were serious just now or joking Corrin, but I do know that I'll never stop wearing this, because it's very special to me." He blushed as well still realizing he was holding her.
Corrin didn't know what to say. She was lost for words. She didn't think he cared this much about her. Most of the time, Corrin had just thought she annoyed Leo.
"Well there is something or someone I should say that is more special..." Leo said in a low tone.
Thousands of thoughts ran through her mind. She had always secretly liked Leo, but felt like too much of an annoyance, so always acted the same around him.
Leo, on the other hand, had always felt something for Corrin. He never truly found her annoying, but he played it as he was to avoid his feelings. How could he not love her? He was lonely without her around. The one thing he secretly dreaded.
Corrin had broke free of Leo's embrace and had tumbled to the ground. She started to cry.
"What's wrong?" Leo said as nervous as possible.
He hated the sight of her crying. It hurt him. He knew it was because of him, which made him feel worse.
She was heartbroken. She felt like she lost her chance to be with him. That special person...
"It's you." Leo said.
She looked up.
"It's always been you."
"So please don't cry anymore."
