-Time skip 2 years later-

"Oh Leo when are you going to take that silly hairband off?" Xander said.

"Pffft... Whenever I feel like..." Leo pouted.

"I like it. It gives him a little style," Camilla said smiling.

"Thank you Sister," he smiled.

Leo was sort of aggravated when Marx did this, but he always thought that he couldn't exactly blame him. Xander didn't know how special this old black headband had been to him, nor did he know of its origins or why Leo always wore it. Well no one knew except for Corrin that is.

Leo had walked away from his older siblings and was headed toward his study. He spotted Corrin from the side of his vision, but didn't bother turning around, because he knew she'd follow him anyway. Corrin had spotted Leo and had snuck up behind him. Even though they were both a little older now Corrin had still seen Leo in the same way as they were when they were younger.

"Good morning Leo," she smiled.

"Oh hi Corrin...How are you today?" he said.

"I'm fine you know same as always," she said discontent.

Leo had picked up easily on how Corrin had felt. They did in fact spend everyday together anyway.

"Are you sure, Corrin?," he said caringly "You don't seem as enthusiastic as usual."

"Well, it's not that I'm unhappy it's just I feel like I lack experience and adventure." she sighed. "You guys get to leave this castle sometimes..." "Why is it I have to stay here...locked up...Am I some kind of monster? Am I that ugly to the world?" She said with a tear shedding down her face.

"No Corrin you're not ugly at all... you're quite beautiful in fact." he blushed. 

"You think... I'm beautiful?"

Leo was hesitant and had just realized what he said.

"O-of course I do." he said flustered.

"Then why am I treated differently than you and the others?" she said drying her eyes.

"I'm sure it has something to do with you not being blood-related to us." Leo said frowning.

"But why does that make any difference?" Corrin said.

"I'm not sure, but I promise one day me and you will see the outside world and what lies over these walls together." Leo said wiping Corrin's stray tear from her face. She sprung into his arms and hugged him tightly causing him to turn bright red.

"You promise." 

"I promise with all my heart."
