Family Secret

"I'll do anything, please I just need money to raise my kids!" A woman in very raggedy clothes begged on the streets sobbing at passer-bys, the people shrugged her off with looks of disgust.
The public walked around her and others galloped on their horses heeding no mind to the woman beggar.
"Anything you say?" A well-dressed man in a dark cloak approached the woman late at night while she was trying to sway her daughter and son to sleep.
The woman with bright dark blue hair snapped her head up, her eyes widened at the sudden voice that had began walking into the alleyway in which the small fatherless family resided in.
"Y-yes, I just need food for my family, anything will do, my oldest son is also sick, please my Lord help this pitiful beggar to survive this cruel world!" She bowed, her head hitting the dirty ground. "I'll give my body for lust if I have to." She choked on her breath when speaking her last sentence.
"A fair maiden shouldn't do such horrendous things, I'll ask for one thing, it will be indeed your body, but I do not need it for lustful urges."
"I do not understand." Her green eyes rose from the ground at the cloaked man.
"I shall give you thirty shillings to do a single task for me." The man reached out with a brown pouch.
"Th-thirty?!" The young woman exclaimed in alarm. "Oh kind lord, to give such a beggar thirty shillings I'll go to the ends of the Earth and snatch a star for you."
"So be it, I'll care for your children, drop them off at the Karamor tavern, call for lady Nancy." The man explained his orders in detail and the woman nodded her head as she received her shillings.
The next hour she did as told and went to the Lord's house, entering from the back entrance.
"The only thing I'll have you do is poison brother's maid." He kept his cloak on, observing the woman covered in dirt and grime, but he was sure that she would have been a beauty if she cleaned herself.
The green eyed woman nodded, she had already vowed her loyalty for the man once he had given her the shillings, more shillings than maids were paid a single year.
And so it begins, first was the maid, she was found in her bedroom, foam coming out of her mouth. While she did the man's bidding he had also sent her to train under many people, how to fight and make poisons, how to dissarm and how to act perfectly without shame.
As the years went by she took up more jobs, but not from the same man, her jobs were done when he was claimed as head Duke of his household when his siblings died of sickness, leaving only him, the youngest. The man didn't need her anymore, but she was also not finished, she searched for men with grudges, did their bidding for much more shillings. Her two children grew up with her teachings after buying a house and settled down. They both learned about knives and poison, fighting and hunting.
Everything.

"Extra extra! The Luka family's house has gone into flames!" A paper boy shouts from a corner as the civilians come in and buy newspaper after newspaper.
The Luka family was known to be the new family which had moved into their city, New York City to be exact. The Big Apple. They were very wealthy, the husband very handsome and the wife was a looker herself. They had three children which were in themselves very handsome. Since all three were boys the public knew that with the looks of their parents in their blood they were swoon many women's hearts.
But on a late night, their home had gone to flames after the wife had found out that her husband was having an affair with the neighbor's daughter, an unwedded eighteen-year-old girl.
"Mother, are you alright?" A handsome ten-year-old boy said from their hotel room.
"Of course, he had it coming, that bastard of a father never had the ability to resist young women." She hissed at the thought of her husband.
"I don't know, I still think that we should have just knocked him out with the sleeping powder and let him burn, your way of cutting his throat was a little too simple mother." Another boy, age fourteen muttered and he looked out the window and down to the street, their house could be seen still smoking but the flames were already out.
"True, he should have suffered more mommy." A seven-year-old nodded and he chewed at a pastry.
"You three are just a work of art." Their mother, blue hair tied up high smiled brightly at her three children. "It doesn't matter now, the deed is done, he should have thought twice when I had told him about our family history. Now we have to go through the pain of acting." The beautiful mother sighed.
"M-mommy, I still haven't been taught how to act!" The seven-year-old looked at his mother in the panic, his brown eyes showing worry.
"Not to worry, this is your first test, we'll go to the funeral and see what I can do to perfect your skills, first thing when acting is how to work the tears." The mother talked as she smoothed out her dress, and readjusting the weapons strapped all over her body.
"Yes mother." The small child nodded as he looked worriedly out the window.

Shadows danced in the cold night, it was due to the early winter coming. Two people sat on swings at a nearby park, looking up into the empty sky.
One a teenage boy and another a teenaage girl. The boy seemed filled with nervousness as he wiped his sweat drenched palms onto his shirt, trying to calm his heart as he stole side glances to the girl beside him.
Her on the other had seemed as calm as the quiet night they were having this late night meeting.
"Haley." The boy finally spoke after a long silent moment.
"Yeah josh?" Her brown eyes looked dark tonight since no sun was there to brighten
them up.
"I've been wanting to ask you something for a long time." He forced out as his hazel eyes kept eye contact with her dark eyes.
"What is it?" She said, a small glint in her eye, but the boy looked too naive to even notice.
"I- I like you." He finally said as his cheeks flushed.
"Pfft!" The girl began to laugh histericaly at the boy and made fun of him. "He actually said it!"
More people's voices and laughter resonated around them, they came out of bushes and behind trees as they took hiden videos.
"W-what?" The boy, Josh looked confused.
"This was all set up, we wanted to see how long it would take for Haley to make the nerd fall in love with her." A girl giggled as she took video of such a spectical.
"Just for humor..." Josh hung his head down, his expression unrecognizable as the rest began to surround him with moking smiles.
"Aww~ is the nerd crying?" A girl mocked.
"Did you actually think that you were a good match for her?" A guy taunted.
"Youre way out of your league kid!" Another guy laughed out loud.
"Alright guys stop." Haley said as a bit of guilt grew in her chest, throughout this entire semester she had found out that josh was really nice, but a bet was a bet and she didn't want to fall it.
She felf warm when he would compliment her, actually looking at her personality instead of her features. The first month was a hassle as he would constantly push her away, but finally her opened up. She felt bad.
"Guys stop-"
"Kyaa-" a scream was cut short while cutting off Haley's shout, something then came splattering across her cheek.
She reached up and wipped it off with a trembling hand to see and feel the warm blood.
"W-what-" Her voice quivered as she looked up to see the sweet why Josh now standing over a dead body of one of her followers. "Josh?"
Josh didn't look like the shy and timid boy from before, he wasnt slouching at all and had boosted his height to an astonishing six five foot. His shaggy hair that would usualy be all over his face was now slicked back by one of his hands. The mistrustful eyes were gone and were replaced with confidence and emotionless feeling as his Hazel eyes connected to her own.
"I really did love you Haley." He gave a small beautoful pout.
"Jo-josh hold on-"
Josh cotinued to walk toward her as she stumbled back and fell to the floor, she soon bumped into something hard het soft. She looked up to see a beautiful woman.
"Please help me!" Haley begged as she stood up and hugged the woman. "He killed all my friends, call the police!"
"Joshua, what have you done? Do you have any idea what trouble your brothers are going to go through to clean this mess up?" The woman scoulded as the girk in her arms froze, her skin turning cold. "Sorry honey, my son isn't so good in handling his emotions." The beautiful woman looked down as her cold eyes made Haley freeze and unable to move.
"Finish what you've started, come one." The woman said as she knelt Haley onto the floor swiftly and quick as she held onto Haley's shoulders, her head lwoering as her lips were millimeters away from the girl's ear. "You should be greatful thay your miserable life wont be ended by me, my son had much more mercy when it comes to people who hurt him, but me? I'd make you want to go to hell."
Haley couldn't move as she saw Josh walk elegantly towards her and held the pocket knife casualy as if handing her a pen that she had asled for.
Soon she was drowning in her own blood.
