Noctis pov

I'm thankful that we are off the Imperial airship but the current situation...bad. Despite it being a sunny day in the Wiz Chocobo Post, our moods were sour and trying to progress information that we have. Luckily, we found a lodging to rest a bit but didn't help with the people staring at me. Yeah, since Alice is unconscious; people spoke in whispers. Such as 'what a good boyfriend' 'why is he carrying that poor girl?' 'Is she faking it?' 'It's so cute to see young love'. Astral, so embarrassing; even my friends were chuckling at their words. We can't say we battle a freaking God, Alice was used a battery to Titan and knocked out. Part me is embarrassed by carrying her like this but inside, I was happy. Sometimes my eyes would glance at Alice's face. Despite her eyes being closed, she has a angel-like face that looked peaceful. Astrals, she is the most beautiful...even if she is trying to defeat the Marshal...Good grief... Currently, we're near the lodging area with me sitting on the chair and Alice in my arms. She still hasn't woken up from the Titan fight as my friends and I started talking about our current problem.

"I still can't believe it. I mean, shouldn't the car have turned up by now?" Prompto asked 

"We should wait until Cindy is done asking around the local garages before we despair," Ignis suggested as my mouth remained close, my eyes were on Alice and my left hand began to stroke her (y/n's) hair color. 

"Let's not fool ourselves. The empire has it." Gladiolus retorted

"Then we can ask Ardyn to help us out again, right?" Prompto said to sound hopeful to our situation.

"The Imperial chancellor." Gladiolus snorted and gave Prompto 'are you kidding me' look

"He represents a problem, not a solution," Ignis stated as he shook his head

"So, where does that leave us?" Prompto questions

"Stranded, awaiting word from Hammerhead," Ignis answered

"In the meantime, we'll have to hoof it," Gladiolus said as I was about to say something until Prompto spoke up.

"Hey look! It's Umbra!" Prompto said as we turn around to see the Umbra, I get up and carry Alice bridal style in my arms.

"Now, this is what I'm talking about," Prompto said as we followed Umbra, Gladiolus sighed and said,

"The kid got it bad." 

"Someone is sending us a message," Ignis said as we jogged passed the Chocobo sigh, Umbra leads us to a forest that had no one around and Umbra stopped. My body turned around to see a familiar face and I said,

"...Gentiana." 

She was still the same after all the years have passed. She has long black hair and bangs that seemed to frame her face well. She wore a black hybrid dress with gold designs on the top and belt. The sleeves had black fur and black fingerless gloves that showed her black painted nails. Her black footless boots continued the gold designs as well and white long scarf around her arms. What drew me in more was her eyes closed showing her purple eyeshadow. Her eyes were mostly closed but that all made her a mysterious individual to most.

"Hear me, O' King of Stone." Gentiana started "By the stormsender's blessing will the path to the Stone be opened. The Oracle hence in her King's name." 

"Luna-where is she now?" I asked desperately 

"The eye of the storm." Gentiana continued "When the covenant is forged, the Oracle and ring shall await their King at the Walls of Water. Stray not from the path."

"But-" I felt movement in my arms as my eyes glance at Alice, her skin began to change to black liquid veins and it started to spread slowly. My friends and I started to worry about this change. Suddenly, Gentiana is in front of me and looked at Alice. As if sensing something is wrong, Gentiana left hand went to Alice's forehead and a blue light shine lightly. My friends came closer to witness this as Gentiana chanted something in a different language, Alice stopped moving and let out a breath. I shocked that she is breath now but this had to be good news right?

"King of Stone, Grand Master of Insomnia is in pain for those who have fallen," Gentiana said as the black liquid veins disappeared to form a moon and a sun symbol on her forehead. She removed her hand and turned her head to face me.

"Pain?" I asked her in the question of what her words meant

"The Grand Master will continue to feel pain of all those were once Grand Masters until the promise is complete. Be by her side and the pain with subdue until the promise is fulfilled. Beware of the traitor draws near." With being said, I looked up to see Gentiana is gone and Ignis said,

"She is a Messanger, a spirit faithful to the Oracle." 

"For real?" Prompto asked as if he didn't believe it

"We're going beyond real now, pal." Gladiolus said, "What did she do to Alice, Noct?"

"I don't know," I said as Alice began to move again, her eyes finally opened and I was shocked of what I said. Her eye color is replaced with a very pale blue color with an elegant design swirling inside her eyes. She looked at me for a second and asked,

"Can you put me down, sir?"

"Uh, yeah, sorry." I gently let her feet on the ground as we looked at her and she returned a warm smile to us. This isn't Alice. Who is this? One of the spirits?

"King of Insomnia, are you going to answer the Oracle's message?" Alice spoke in a kind tone. Definitely, not Alice.

"How-"

"Please answer the message and I will explain then," Alice said as she continued to smile at us warmly, the boys looked at each other in confusion. Yep, this is someone else alright. I went to Umbra to grab the book as I opened it, my fingers were turning the page and current page. It was a design of Altissia and words written under the art.

'My prayers are with you, Noctis.'

My mind is relieved that Luna is okay and took a deep breath to calm myself. My fingers took the pen that is inside the book to write my reply.

'I receive the blessing. Thank you, Luna'

As my fingers were done with the message, I placed the book back inside Umbra's bag and said,

"Let Luna know I'm okay and she won't have to wait much longer-we'll be together again soon."

As Umbra runs off, I heard Gentiana's voice and she says,

"Unto the King alone, this voice is heard. To follow the words is to follow the chosen path. Bridging heaven to earth it strikes, the Storm's ephemeral yet eternal Light. To the Light, the King must go."

"Ah, Gentiana must be telling you to search for Ramuh, the Astral of Lightning," Alice spoke as we turned to look her again, Ignis cleared his throat and asked,

"Are we talking to a spirit? If so, which one?"

"Ah, you are the intelligent one, Ignis Scientia. Your family has been loyal to the Caelum family since the Rebirth." Sai spoke as we were startled by the word 'Rebirth' and Sai continued,

"Yes, I am one of the spirits that rest in the Grand Master. My name is Sai. Very nice to meet everyone in person."

"Where is Alice? Is she okay? Is she hurt? What were that black veins that appeared on her skin?!" I asked quickly as Sai came to me, placed both hands on my shoulders and my body is calming down.

"Peace, King of Stone. Please do not worry about Alice. She is well taken care of. Keta is handling her healing as well as I." Sai replied as let go of me and said,

"Alice has suffered quite a drain from the Titan. In order for her to recover, she must rest in our sanctuary. Fear not, she is safe and sound. I will accompany you until you have receive the Storm's blessing, King of Stone."

"First, we have questions that need answering," Gladiolus said as he crossed his arms, glaring at Sai for he was not comfortable of spirit taking over Alice and Sai smiled.

"Of course, but please know. I can only answer the questions that are allowed an answer and my knowledge is limited, Gladiolus Amicita."

"You know who we are?" Gladiolus asked in a little bit of a shock of the spirit knowing his last name and I am too.

"Of course, the Amicita family is a lineage of strong warriors that almost rival our strength and power." Sai replied as Prompto muttered 'Sweet' under his breath, I came to Alice and said,

"I want to know more about the Grand Masters and the Horror of the Grand Masters, Sai."
