After the whole ordeal, Cor went his separate way again. He gave me one last look as if to remember my promise. Whatever he better remember his. The boys and I got into the car again to drive to our next location. My mind reeled in a lot of questions with no answers. There was a big question that I truly wanted to be answered: What are you up to, Medusa?

Meanwhile in Niflheim

"So the prince eludes death. What of the elusive ring?" The emperor Iedolas asked as all were gathered in the grand room to discuss the details thus far, however, Medusa has other ideas.

"Lunafreya has absconded with it," Ravus answered as Medusa snorted in disgust of hearing the news, Ravus did a quick glare of the woman and returned his focus to Iedolas.

"Find her and kill her. The ring is the final piece." Iedolas said darkly

"We may do well to keep her alive. The Six wield power beyond our imagination and the Orcale holds the key for the King. She could unlock many secrets." said Verstael

"Ha!! The Oracle holds many secrets, Verstael? You are very wrong, you senex(old man)." Medusa finally spoke as Ravus and Verstael looked at the woman as if she was mad.

"You forget that (y/n) holds all the secrets with the Six."

"That has yet to be proven due to your experiments. I believe it has given you least of the result that you were looking for." Verstael retorts as some the soldiers' gasps in shock of him talking back to Medusa and she stood still in place. Suddenly, the air became heavy with anger and darkness. As if a dark presence wants to have their authority known. Purple small clouds surround Medusa as she gave a death glare to Verstael and asked darkly,

"You want to say that to me again, chief researcher?"

Verstael gulped in presence of Medusa and didn't say a word back.

"That is what I thought, you fool," Medusa said as her purple clouds began to disappear, Ravus let go a breath to relax and said to Iedolas.

"My men and I will continue our search for the prince and the Oracle."

"So glorious...My Crystal." Iedolas said

Returning to the Chocobros and (Y/N)

Lestallum.

As my eyes laid upon the sign, I knew I was heading into deeper territory and with much worry. During the drive, I felt very heavy in my body lately and having a sluggish feeling. Without warning, we somehow got to Lestallum in a blink of an eye and my thoughts began to panic. According to the boys, I slept the whole trip in the car and that made me concerned. I'm a fucking machine that doesn't need sleep but I'm reminded by the Blue Z virus that infected me. I am indeed turning human. Fuck! If that was the case, what about my abilities? Some many questions ran through my mind as I need to find a place to be alone and sort out a plan. As Ignis parked the car, the boys got out and I did as well but very slowly.

"Hey Alice, you ok? You don't look too good." Noctis commented as he came to me, I was about to push him away but my body seemed to have a mind of its own. I fell from where I stood and landed on Noctis's body.

"Alice, what's wrong?!" Noctis began to panic as the three other men came to me and I said,

"...Tired...need sleep.."

Damn, I can't even speak right!!

"Wow. I thought Noct gets tired but Alice you take the cake." Prompto said

"...Ah...spirits..tired.."

"Spirits, kid?" Gladiolus said as he is confused

"Ah! That's right, Alice has at least two spirits within her. They probably tired from all the fighting that she has done up until now. Let's secure a lodging place." Ignis said as Noctis began to lift on to his back, my arms wrapped around his neck and he started to walk. We reached the center point of the shopping plaza as Gladiolus's phone started to ring, he took it out and started to look at it.

"Iris is waiting for us at the Leville." Gladiolus said as we started to walk down the path to the Leville. As we walked past the locals, some of them began to stare at me and Noctis. I knew the reason why but I can hardly move and can't talk back much. We finally reached the Leville however we felt the ground shake.

"Whoa, did you feel that?" Prompto asked

"You mean, the earthquake?" Gladiolus said as I felt Noctis shift one of his arms to his head, my eyes still had the aura vision exact which didn't help much. However, Noctis aura is changing not in colors but in size. That doesn't happen to anyone unless you have something more than humans.

"What's wrong?" Ignis asked Noctis

"My head just started to throbbing," Noctis replied as he adjusted his hold on me and Prompto asked,

"You alright?"

"Yeah, I'm fine," Noctis said as we continued forward to the Leville, we went inside and entered the lobby. The lobby had some rustic feel to the air as the wall is painted blue with a little wear, a marble stairway in the back and around couch area in the middle. Noctis went to the couch as he let me go, my body gently came into contact with the soft furniture and we hear a voice call out,

"Gladdy!"

"Iris!" Gladiolus said as Iris came to us, my eyes were not so heavy which I could see this little girl and I am impressed. I can see the family resemblance between the two. Iris is half in size of Gladiolus with short brown hair and brown eyes that seemed to shine. She wore a black sleeveless top with red dots and a hoodie. A red and black plaid skirt with boots.

"Look at you guys, holding your own out there," Iris commented as she looked at the boys, then her gaze came to me and asked,

"Oh no, what's wrong with her?"

"That is a long story. Let's go to our room, we'll explain then." Gladiolus said as Iris nodded in response, Noctis once again carried me on his back and Iris lead the way. When we entered the room, it was a decent size room for two as the room has the rustic atmosphere with some decorated columns. Inside the room were two people. One was a child that has short brown hair and brown eyes. He wore a red and black plaid shirt with an emblem of a snake. Tan shorts with sneakers. The older man next to him seems to his grandparent or father. He has gray hair with a bold spot which made me chuckle mentally about it. He wore a long white sleeve shirt with a green horizontal line vest with green-tanish pants with shoes. Apparently, Gladiolus knew both of them. Talcott the child and Jared, the older man.

"Prince Noctis! Iris is safe with me!" Talcott said as Jared looked at the child and said,

"Please excuse my grandson. He has yet to learn his manners."

"I like it." Noctis said as he seemed relaxed about Talcott calling him that, well he never did like royal formalities and such.

"Your very kind, your highness; but we shouldn't impose," Jared said as he glanced my way, he seemed surprised and smiled softly. His actions confused me by I will worry about that later.

"And a good night to you, your highness," Talcott said as they both bowed and left the room. Noctis placed me on the bed to laid down on my back. As Iris came to me, she places her hand on my forehead and said,

"Your skin is not hot so, you're just tired?"

"...yes."

"Oh, I didn't introduce myself! I'm Iris, Gladiolus's sister. You?"

"...Alice, warrior...do you...know.."

"Do I know what, Alice?"

"Oh, she asked about the Crown City. I want to know what's going on as well." Noctis said as he sat next to me. Iris sat on the bed across with Gladiolus and Ignis. Prompto sat on the chair that is across from the beds.

"Not pretty, The Citadel took a beating but the outlying neighborhoods made it through one piece," Iris said as she grimaces in memory of the attack

"The empire had tactical targets in mind," Ignis commented

Yes, they have and succeed but something is amiss to me...

"You know if there is anything else, you can ask me," Iris said quickly as Noctis reply of ok, then there was silence and I yelled in agony all of sudden. My body is twitching in pain as my eyes were not seeing auras anymore but seeing someone else's vision. This person is unknown to me but I felt a part of them as the unknown continued to walk away from the people to some type of shrine and said,

'Awoken, Alice'

"Alice!!"

My eyes shot up and I lifted my body upright. My body is still shaking from the vision I saw. I saw Noctis and everyone else in my eyes. However, I did not feel as if I was in control.

"Alice, are you ok?" Noctis asked as he places both hands on my shoulders, I tried to speak but nothing comes out and then I heard my own voice but not words.

"Alice, is not here, Prince Noctis."

What the hell?!

"...Who are you?" Noctis asked as he lets go of me, my head turns to face him and his friends.

"Keta, the one of the origin Grand Master of Insomnia. I see you made it to Lestallum. Good work for now."

Keta!! You bitch!! Get out of my body!

"What do you mean by that? What happened to Alice!?" Noctis asked in demand

"Whoa wait! The spirit inside Alice?!" Iris said in shock as Prompto nodded in response and said,

"The weird spirits are back!"

"I wil tell you later, Iris and Prompto, calm down. What do you want, Keta?" Gladiolus asked

"Yes, I am, Gladiolus. I see his trying to talk to Prince Noctis but you are not listening. How foolish."

"Who is talking to me?" Noctis asked in confusion

"Listen and you will know," Keta said in my voice

Keta, what is the fucking deal?! Give me my body back!

"...What is a Grand Master of Insomnia, Keta? Cor talked about to Alice but we were left in the dark about it. Why?" Noctis asked as I saw that the boys were curious as well as Iris. For she hasn't heard the title before until now.

Keta, I swear once I see you I will break you!

"...A Grand Master of Insomnia is one true guard to Insomnia; not just to a king. We are protectors to those who have no power and the hidden. Our job is to protect; not to harm."

What? To protect those who have no power? My job is to kill; not protect.

"What do you protect? Protect the King of Insomnia?" Noctis asked

"Wrong! Protect those without power!" Keta said as her aura felt heavy with the comment Noctis said, I saw everyone is backing away a few steps for I could see myself but I saw fear.

"Noctis, I believe Keta is talking about the citizens of Insomnia are their job to protect. Am I right, Keta?" Ignis asked as Keta nodded in response with my head and continued,

"We were promised," Keta mumbled

Promised?

"Promised?" Noctis said

"We were promised by the Kings of Insomnia. We would complete our charge in exchange for a life of the king's soul."
