"My redemption?" I asked 

Oh great, this word again...

"Yes, you will know more when the time comes. I shall grant you, the GrandMaster, the power of the wind." As the spirit disappeared, a spear appeared in its place and hovered to me. The spear looked to be an ancient weapon but held a power. It was about Gladiolus's height with a metal tip and a green ribbon wrapped around the handle. My hand took the spear and it disappeared inside me. Unlike the first time, I didn't go to that weird place like Kato; thank god. It wasn't painfully like the last time as if the power longed for its master to return.

That word had been going around the spirits when I meet. Also, 'that woman'...All I can think about is Medusa being this person that Kato mentioned and once again, I had no means to contact her or Ardyn for help. God, why would I consider Ardyn's help...dammit. I was focused on my thoughts when a phone rang, Noctis answered his cell and talked for a moment. He had mentioned a Niflheim base not far from here and we needed to desultory. This could work to my advantage to contact Medusa or Ardyn. 

Noctis got an incoming call as he answered it his phone, I tried to do one of my hacking networks but as a reminder; my body twitched in pain. I'm still becoming human at a slow rate as a result. Most of my hacking systems are gone and my brain is not acting as it should. After Noctis's phone call, he said we needed to go to an outpost to meet Monica and we headed back to the car. We headed to the Prairie Outpost and made it without trouble. As we got out of the car, a few of the people's gaze came to me and whispers began. I still had my hearing ability which brought relief but it was short lived when the words that they were saying.

'Who is that girl? A glavie?' 'Doesn't look to be.' 'She looks like an outsider to me but a very cute one.' 'Are you kidding me? She has to be the Prince's whore.'

You dumb fucks, I can't wait to kill the rest of you.

I fought the urge to glare at them as I continued to walk with the boys until we found Monica.

"Your Highness, the Marshal has appraised me of the plan. We found a backdoor into the imperial base. I'll mark the route on your map. The way is secure; you should be able to gain entry relatively easy." Monica said as we started to head out to the backdoor route on foot and Monica turned to face me.

"Hello Alice, good to see you again."

"Hello, Nice lady," I said as Noctis looks at me as if he expected me to give people nicknames but was baffled at the one I gave Monica.

"Alice...you gave Monica a...nice name, I think," Noctis said

"Of course, I did. The Nice lady is very kind." I replied

"Ok, I'll ask: why?"

"She gave me the death experience. It was truly wonderful!" I said with excitement as the boys looked at Monica for an answer and she replied,

"No no, I just helped her with some fighting workouts."

"Alice, you call workouts a death experience?" Noctis asked

"Yep, the reason is that every death experience makes you powerful," I replied

"Alice, there is something seriously wrong with you," Noctis said as he shook his head in disbelief as if he was disappointed in my answer

"I agree on that notion," Ignis added as Prompto and Gladiolus nodded. About halfway, we stopped at narrowing opening and Monica said,

"From here, we will split into two groups. Prince Noctis, please join the Marshal up ahead. The rest of you will assist me in the diversionary effort."

Hmmm...If Noctis and the Immortal are on one team then I will with the diversionary group. Perfect.

Since I will be with the diversionary group, I can easily sneak past them and tried to find a way to contact Medusa in the base. Noctis said farewell to his friends as we started to part ways, Monica noticed me leaving and said,

"Alice, you will go with Prince Noctis."

"Huh?" What?

"The Marshal expects you as well to be with them. Please go with Prince Noctis."

That motherfucker....After when this is over, I will be killing that Marshal!!

"...Ok." I said one word as I started to follow Noctis to meet up with the Marshal, Noctis glanced at me with worry and asked,

"Alice...you ok?"

"I'm fine, goth."

"No, I mean are you really ok?" He said as he stopped walking, my feet stopped as well and looked at his concerned face. Even without my scanners or chips telling me what a human is doing, I can see clear as day that he wanted to ask the one question that has been nagging on him.

"...No. I swear I will tell you and your friends after we rest ok? I'm...dealing with it." I gritted my teeth at the word 'it' meaning the damn spirits that decided that I was their host. All because of the rank: Grand Master of Insomnia. Noctis nodded his head in agreement as he gave me a quick hug as if to give me a moment of relief. I should've pushed away but my body didn't want his warmth to leave me so quickly. After the hug, we continued to walk as we saw the Marshal walking towards us and glanced at me for a moment.

"Once we're in, we launch our ambush. Pushing out while our support pushes in; crushing the enemy on both sides." Cor said as we followed him to a door up ahead, we dashed into the base and started to take down the soldiers. I wanted to all escape this plan and contact Medusa. However, Cor kept a watchful eye on me as if he knew what I was thinking and it made me realized something. He wanted me into his group so, I wouldn't contact anyone and make sure his promise was kept. 

Damn, for a warrior he is smart. Maybe I will kill him slow instead.

After a few more minutes of fighting the weak soldiers, we headed for the main gate and opened to find the rest of the group unharmed.

"Noctis! Alice! You're ok!" Prompto said as they came to us

"Of course we are, chatterbox," I replied as he ran to hug me, I dodged his hug and he whined that he wanted a hug.

Weirdo...

"Good to see you again, Marshal," Ignis said

"All right on your end?" Noctis asked

"Right as rain. The Niffs couldn't keep their eyes off us." Gladiolus replied

"Thanks to you, we were spared their attention." The Marshal said as my ears picked up a humming sound coming our way, I got into a battle stance and looked up into the sky to see an airship. Shit!

"Stay right where you are." A voice boomed at us overhead.

...No No No, I will take anyone but this brat Loqi!

"Well well if it isn't Cor the Immortal. So you survived the Citadel but you won't survive what I have in store for you. It's past time your legend comes to an end." Loqi said as the airship door opened to reveal a big MA-X Cuirass, I stood there in a frozen state of what he just said and I felt boiling anger.

WAIT A MOMENT...Did he say your legend comes to an end!? OH HELL NO!!!

"No slacking-Alice!!??" Gladiolus shouted at me as I gripped my sword, my swing carried power to eliminate all the soldiers on the ground and hit some parts of the machine.

"Hey you fucking brat! Listen up!!" I shouted as my hand pointed a finger at him "No one and I mean NO ONE comes between me and the Immortal!! If anyone is going to kick his ass, it will be me! NOW, get out of my way you SHORT STACK FUCKER!!!"

Everyone is quiet of what I just said as it took a moment for Loqi to get his bearings and yelled,

"Did you just call me a short stack fucker!? You little foul mouth girl!!! I'll kill you first then the Immortal!!"

"Bring it, you short stack fucker!!!"

Meanwhile on the sidelines

The boys were still speechless after what Alice said.

"Um...should we help her?" Prompto broke the silence

"I think it would be wise to not get involve while Alice is on a rampage. Hell has no fury like a woman scorned." Ignis inquired as they saw Alice taking hits but still landing hard blows to the MA-X Cuirass, Gladiolus stretched his head and added,

"Yeah, Alice has quite a temper if you get her angry enough."

"Does Alice have to give everyone a nickname even if a person she doesn't like?" Noctis said as he sighed

"Yes." Gladiolus and Ignis said in unison

"It seems you got an admirer, Marshal," Gladiolus commented as Cor glared at Gladiolus and sighed knowing that it sort of is that kind of situation.

"The machine looks to be done with Alice's wrath," Cor commented as they all saw that with a final swing of Alice sword, the MA-X Cuirass exploded and with Loqi's last words. Alice walked up to the group with soot-covered in her hair and clothes. Her hair a bit messy but her eyes held much fury.

"Immortal, from this point onward, I'm your only rival. Not that piece of shit! If I find anyone who is your rival, I'm fucking killing them. Got it!?" Alice said directly to his face as the boys looked at the Marshal who seemed calm, Cor sighed and said,

"Yeah, I got it, kid."
