"The decreed hour has come."

"Set fourth with my blessing, Prince Noctis." King Regis said as we are in the throne room, it is indeed a grand room with only the few get to set foot in this room. For King Regis sat on his throne on the top of the stairs that lead to the royalty chair and the five of us were standing in the presence of the king. I was standing behind the boys as my eyes saw King Regis's magic is...failing to show itself to me unlike the time when I first meet him. I knew the reason again. His eyes stared at his son who replied,

"Thank you, your Majesty."

"Take your leave and go in the grace of the Gods." King Regis said as Noctis bowed to his father, he gave a look to his father as if he needed more to say but King Regis's eyes remained the same and mumbled,

"Right..."

Noctis walked pasted us as they got confused at his action, they bowed to the King and I waved at him. Drautos who is besides the King glared at my action and I shrugged my shoulders not caring. I entered the elevator with them and we headed to the first floor. As we exited out of the elevator, Prompto broke the silence.

"Well, Princes will be Princes."

"So much for royal protocol." Ignis added

"Not you had to deliver a formal address." Gladiolus said

"Formal address? What is that, food?" I asked as Gladiolus and Prompto snickered at my response

"For Etro's sake Alice, can you not think of food at a time like this?" Ignis asked as I shrugged my shoulders and replied,

"Hey, I was told to meet you guys with wise beard man and I thought were going to have a feast. No, we stood there like a cactuar with no dance moves."

"Again, you don't make any sense..." Ignis sighed

"I thought you taught her stuff, Iggy?" Gladiolus asked

"I did and I don't think the knowledge stayed in her head for long."

"Oh come on, Iggy. She learned the basics and strangely, a lot of puns." Prompto added

"I think that came from you, Prompto." Gladiolus said as my eyes looked at Noctis who continued to walk to the regalia, his aura is...frustrated at his father. Probably because he wanted him to say something or more.

I have learned a great deal over the six months of watching and being with this group. Somehow, I felt my body has become lighter in a way that has never happened before. I always pushed my odd feelings away as if it was a burden. Now, I have let these feelings go inside my mind and without Medusa's approval. This is something new that is continue to grow and...more. Also, I..need to know what I am while I'm on my true mission. For this had bothered my mind during my stay.

"Your Highness!" a voice shouted behind us as we saw King Regis walking to us with his cane but he walked slowly to get down the stairs.

"What now?" Noctis said as my feet rush to King Regis's side, my hands took his hands helped him get down carefully and he said,

"Thank you, Alice."

"No problem, wise beard man." I said as Ignis sighed at the nickname, Prompto and Gladiolus keep quiet.

"I fear that I left too much unsaid. You place a great burden on those who bear with you." King Regis and Noctis replied,

"You're one to talk."

King Regis looked at his friends then to me as if deciding what to said.

"I ask not that you guide my wayward son, merely to stay by his side." He said

"Indeed, your Grace." Ignis answering for all of us

"We'll see the prince to Altissia if it's the last thing we see." Gladiolus said

"Yeah, what they said." Prompto agreeing with them

"No problem, I'll make sure he eats his greens, wise beard man." I said as Noctis gave me a stern look, his friends kinda tensed at the nickname and King Regis chuckled at my response.

"I leave Noctis in your capable hands, Alice." King Regis said as Noctis looked at his father with a shocked look, I grinned in victory and Noctis said in annoyance,

"Hate to break this up, Cor's got the motor running. Drautos, he is in your hands."

I followed Prompto, Ignis and Gladiolus to the regalia as we waited for Noctis who is talking to his father. My eyes looked at the citadel that still looked stunning as I remember coming here for the first time. Insomnia, the place I was taught to hate and destroy. My lesson back home is a mystery to me. Insomnia is just a place like everything else and it's...beautiful. I had made friends, enemies and...acquaintances over these six months. Many times I almost blew my cover but somehow, dodged a bullet without knowing. The dreams in my grid world still didn't make sense to me but I felt I will have my answers by leaving this place. As my mind got back to reality, I saw my ghost friend standing in front of Noctis and the King. My hands twitched in a little but move closer to my sword until she said 'Listen'. My ears picked up on a last few words from King Regis and he said to Noctis

"Walk tall, my son."

He will walk but not when I kill him.

On the road

We are in the Regalia setting off in our destination. Prompto is driving while Ignis is sitting in the front row of the car. I was in the middle of Noctis and Gladiolus. My body felt small compared to Gladiolus's physical body but it's nothing compared to my true strength. Noctis is only four inches taller than me but still felt very stuck with these two.

"Seriously Alice, you need to stop with the nicknames." Noctis said as he gave me a determined and I replied,

"Hell no, goth. I give people their true name. You can't say, what did tattoo man say? Oh yeah. You can't do jack shit, vegetable hater."

"Gladio..." Noctis said as he glared at Gladiolus across from his seat

"What? I did say that to her but didn't tell her to say it to you. However, it's a little funny now." Gladiolus chuckled

"Stop teaching her stuff! That includes you, Prompto!"

"What?!" Prompto shouted as he turned his head slightly in frustration, Ignis looked annoyed at Prompto for turning his head while driving "Man, I taught her a lot of stuff, Noct! I'm her guide!"

"You just want to teach her because she is hot." Gladiolus said smirking knowing the answer

"Also, you have deep feelings for Miss Alice." Ignis added as Prompto turned his head back to focus on the read, I sighed and said to tattoo man

"I'm not that hot, tattoo man. I'm just a average girl that seeks strong opponents."

"I beg a differ on that, Miss Alice." Ignis said as his eyes were focused on the road, Gladiolus nodded in agreement and Prompto said,

"You are so not average, Alice. You are a beauty and a angel from heaven..."

"Thank you, I think." I replied as Prompto giggled like a highschool girl that won something good. I felt Noctis's gaze on me as my eyes connected to his deep blue eyes and his face went a little red. I scanned his temperature for it's a human's normal rate but his heart is beating faster than normal and his cheeks were getting redder while looking at me. 

What is wrong with him? Does he have a fever or something?

"What, goth?"

"..Nothing...uh.." Noctis stuttered on his words and I decided to play a game that Ardyn said that gets people to react.

"You going to sleep on my bed again, goth?" I said as the Gladiolus looked at me as if I was serious, Prompto still had his eyes on the road but could image his shocked face and Ignis looked over his shoulder in surprised of my words.

"What?! No..I-"

"You forced your way into my bed that night, goth pervert." I said

"So, you did do something that night! You sly dog!" Gladiolus smirked

"Noctis! Not fair!" Prompto added while whining

"You didn't do that to Miss Alice, did you?" Ignis asked questioned Noctis

"No, I-" Before Noctis could answer, there is a strange sound inside the car and the car began to slow down.

"What was that?" Noctis asked

"Uh-oh..." Prompto said

"Uh-oh, what?" Gladiolus asked

"Boys, we are in hell." I said

In the middle of nowhere

We were stranded...

Here I am, the most dangerous killer in the world, stuck with this idiots...Great. What I wouldn't give for a airship ride right about now...

We were pushing the car a great deal of distance to reach a garage that is ahead of our direction. On the phone it looked easy but in reality, a pain in the ass. We were currently taking a break of pushing as Gladiolus is trying to get a ride for us but with no luck. I was standing on the pavement as the cars were driving by us and the wind is blowing against my (c/h) hair.  With my strength it would be easy but it will blow my cover and I had to stay weak until I get word. My eyes saw Prompto lying on the ground as if he couldn't take the heat and Noctis is beside me, huffing in exhaustion.

"I think we can forget hitching our way there.." Gladiolus said "I thought people were friendly outside the city."

"You can only go so far on the kindness of strangers." Ignis replied

"Guess we'll just have to push her all the way." Gladiolus said as he started to walk to Noctis and Prompto

"I already pushed myself...to the brink of death." Prompto whined as he is currently laying on the pavement on his back, Noctis is next to him as if he is ready for a nap.

Sleepy basterd...

"Oh, get up." Gladiolus said as he slightly kicked Prompto's leg, he got up and Noctis followed suit

"Come, the car isn't going to move itself."

"I thought the car was supposed to move us." Prompto said as he got on the passenger side of the car, Noctis on the driver's side and I was positioned behind him

"Wouldn't that be nice?" Noctis said as I sighed in defeat of the situation

"Nice to have food too." I said

"Can it." Gladiolus said as he is behind the car "Ready, Steady, Push!"

We started to push the car as we are moving slowly, Prompto made the comment of why the car is so heavy and my eyes scanned the interior of the car. Of course, I know the problem of the car but couldn't say anything for it would reveal the true me. However, my eyes caught some extra mechanisms you weren't find in a car which beg the question: What the hell is this car?

"Unbelieveable." Noctis muttered

"Not exacatly a fairy tale beginning huh, Prince Noctis?"

"Cheer up, goth. At least, we aren't at your wedding." I said as Noctis looked at me in confusion and asked,

"Ok I'll bite: why?"

"You have to wear white, right? You  will look like a a snowman at the wedding passing ice cream." I said as his friends laughed at my words, Noctis just looked at me and said,

"Alice, it's the bride who wears white; not the groom!"

"No, chatterbox told me you were going to wear a white dress." 

"Prompto!" Noctis said as Prompto sheepishly looked away from a glaring Noctis

"I didn't say that, Noct." Prompto said quickly

"Yes, you did, blondie." I said 

"We let ourselves get carried away." Ignis butted into the conservation to stop the bickering

"Look, these things happen." Prompto added

"If so, then where is the food? I'm hungry." I added

"Why are you always hungry, Alice?" Noctis asked

"Food is good is why, vegetable hater." I replied as he looked irked at his nickname but kept pushing the car

"Let's just hope this isn't some bad omen." Gladiolus said as we were slowly passing a sign with all our strength, I could tell the boys looked tired already from pushing but Gladiolus has put more strength in then Noctis and Prompto. I could just lift the car and be done with it. I kept mentally repeating that this is for a good cause for my mission.

Damn this mission and damn this situation...

"Gladio, do me a favor." Noctis said

"What?" Gladiolus asked

"Push this thing all by yourself."

"All by myself?" Gladiolus said as I chuckled at that statement

"You won't even know if we just let go. Right, Alice?" Prompto said as he is slowly letting go of the car

"I guess?" I said in confusion of agreeing or not

"Prompto, don't you even think about it and don't drag Alice into this!" Gladiolus said as Prompto flinched, he returned to his original spot and we kept pushing.

"Save some breath for pushing." Ignis said

"Come on, Ignis! Time to switch." Noctis quickly said as I sighed at Noctis's attempt to not push the car anymore

"Nuh-uh! We just switched back there!" Gladiolus said

"And it's my turn, Noct." Prompto added

"You guys are sissy.." I muttered

"'His' turn." Ignis said as Noctis looked at me again, I raised an eyebrow of 'what now' and he said,

"Alice, you can have my turn." 

My eyes stared at him for a moment as he turned his flushing face away from me, I wanted to keep going but it would be better if I act human for now.

"Thanks, vegetable hater. You can be nice at times." I said

"Nice at times, Alice? Seriously?" Noctis said as he panted heavy while pushing.

"Hahaha! She's got a point there, Noctis." Gladiolus said as Prompto and Ignis agreed.
