Not my pic; reference of the DDR machine. Still looks cool!

After an hour of setup, the machine is ready to be used and I thanked the guards for helping. Many eyes were on the machine for it's big dance floor and wide screen lighting up to the main scene of the game. I walked to the four men and explained,

"This machine is called 'Dance Dance Revolution' or DDR. This machine will judge us on how well we dance and gives us a grade. Triple AAA+ is the highest score, girls. So, there are 3 rounds to the dance machine. We do all rounds and see who gets the highest score record. Any questions?"

"Yeah, just one, missy." Gladiolus said

"What is it, tattoo man?"

"Where did you get this machine, Alice?" He asked as his thumb pointed to the dance machine, recruits were looking at in awe as if they never seen it before and I replied,

"That's not question, tattoo man."

"On the contrary, that's a good question. I'm curious as well." Ignis said while he and Prompto were staring at the machine that had neon changing color lights. I sighed a little and Prompto said,

"Who cares right now, Iggy? This is thing looks awesome!"

"That's right, chatterbox agrees with me, four-eyes."

"I will always agree with you forever, my future girl!" Prompto sprinted to me with a hug which I dodged and accidentally hugged Gladiolus instead. Gladiolus peeled him off quickly and gave him a glare. I saw Noctis went to Ignis talking about something that I wasn't close enough to make out. Luckily, I enhanced my hearing of Ignis talking to Noctis about being calm and just accept the wager that he already agreed to. So, he was trying to chicken out because he can't dance? Hell no, he is dancing today. I grabbed him by the collar as he was complaining to me to let go and dragged him to the DDR machine. My hand left his collar go with Noctis being on the right side of the machine and I went to the left side. The machine started as the neon changing lights were blinking and the crowd is 'awe' by the screen display of songs. I picked first one being a beginner for Noctis because in his eyes; he's freaking out while staying calm. Or trying to.

"The machine will let us pick a music however, the levels start to beginner to expert. You ready, vegetable hater?" I asked as he gave me a look of annoyance and stood his ground.

"I'm ready, Alice. Just get ready to stop calling me names and get ready to wear a maid outfit." All the male recruits were excited with their wolf whistles and chanting 'Noctis! Win this so we can see her in a maid outfit!' The female recruits were rooting for me to put the prince in his place. The song 'Butterfly' started as we began to step on the foot keys that were show on the screen and started to step to the song. Noctis sighed in relief that this is easy and the song is a good pace. Surprisely, Noctis good on his feet and his actually going with the beat of the song. The crowd is cheering for us as the song lasted three minutes and twelve seconds. After the end of the Butterfly song, our score is displayed and we were tied with a score; A. The song is too easy.

The song list came back up as Noctis took a moment to look through the songs and choose 'Fantasy'. Dumbass...As the song started, the first steps were easy however the steps were coming in faster and pairing three step combination. Noctis's eyes looked a bit worried as he saw the combinations and I chuckled a bit. Hmph, he's got guts to dance at least but let's see if he can handle threats under pressure. He glared at me and asked,

"What's so funny?"

"Nothing, you are a prince, right? Don't you dance lessons? Oh forget, you do don't because you dance like a little girl who lost their purse." I replied as the beat is picking up with three to two combinations at the same time.

"What was that, Alice?!"

"You heard me, vegetable hater. Admit defeat already and eat your vegetables."

"I'll die before I admit defeat by you! How about you admit defeat and wear the outfit so, you can serve me?" Noctis smirked as I shrugged my shoulders in boredom and replied,

"If I do that, I have to be naughty to you in your room, right?"

Noctis's face went red as well as the male recruits with Ignis and Gladiolus blushing of what they hear and I continued,

"Would you prefer for me to be on top? That's cool and all. If you want me on the bottom, that's a high price to pay. I don't do well on the bottom, vegetable hater. Before you ask, Prompto told me a few things about you when you were sleeping on the drive back to Insomnia."

"...Prompto, you jackass!!!" Noctis shouted behind him as Prompto is too occupied by looking at me with hearts around his eyes and taking pictures of me.

"Just give in, vegetable hater."

"Hell no, Alice!" Noctis said as we were both sweating a little of the beat and the song finally ended. My score is AA and Noctis score is B. Gladiolus commented on Noctis that could be a dancer instead of a fighter which ticked Noctis off and Ignis agreed with Gladiolus. Prompto...still taking pictures of me and still...love struck. I picked the next song called 'Valkyrie dimension' and it started. It started a good pace so Noctis is able to keep up but once the beat speed up, the combinations were random that him didn't think was possible and begin to loss some foot work to get points.

"What the fuck, Alice?!" Noctis said as he wanted to glare at me but had to keep his eyes on the screen.

"Didn't I tell you that the machine takes it to beginner then expert? You should've prepared yourself for this, vegetable hater." I replied as my feet keep up with the beat, the female recruits were cheering for me and the male recruits were urging Noctis to step up his game. As if he had any to began with. The speed would be random of slow, fast, steady or really fast. The combination were in choas meaning anything can be a combination. We keep dancing to the choatic beats and I asked,

"You give in yet, vegetable hater?"

"Hell...no..." Noctis replied sweating as much as I have but he is about to lose his energy and I replied,

"Hey, vegetable hater."

"What?"

"Remember our bet and don't you skip a day, vegetable hater."

"What's that supposed to mean-!!!!" Noctis couldn't finish his sentence as the beat became extreme fast and he couldn't keep up. His eyes were going back and forth with the displaying of the foot keys and his legs. I feel sorry for him; not. For me? My feet went easily with the beat with the encore ending in two step combination and a 5 minute fast foot work. I felt lighter while I dance to the encore ending and had a one minute flashback of the mysterious biker lady dancing to this machine. I was almost shocked that my foot work slowed down but I quickly regained my speed to maintain my points. The song ended as the crowd is went wild and I finished the impossible encore. The scores were displayed as Noctis 'E' and Me 'AAA+'. The female recruits cheered in excitement as they came to me and congratulated me for putting the prince in his place. Noctis fell to the ground exhausted with sweating heavily. Ignis gave him a towel and Gladiolus commented that it was bound to happen that he would lose. Noctis glared at Gladiolus not giving him credit and Prompto got on Noctis's case not winning the bet of seeing me in a maid outfit. Of course, the male recruits gave him hell as well but cried because they won't see me in a maid outfit. He ignored him as I approached him and gave me a wary look.

"I win, vegetable hater. You know what that means right?" I asked as he started to scoot back to run but Ignis and Gladiolus pushed him to me. He gave them 'wtf' look and Ignis replied,

"You two had an agreement, your highness. You must follow through with her request."

"Yeah, Noct. It's not so bad." Gladiolus smirked as Noctis gave them both the finger and I grabbed him by the collar. 

"Let's start with some carrots, vegetable hater. That's healthy for you instead of a chocolate dessert." I said as I dragged Noctis to the kitchen, he started to complain about me and I ignored his whining about doing part of the wager.

As promised, the dance off between Noctis and (f/n). I was trying to keep to the real DDR as much as possible so, forgive me if I messed up. Of course, I made some things up and adding videos to the songs best to my knowledge. I had a bad day yesterday and today. Writing this really cheer me up, so forgive me.
