Oh myy why am I doing this ?? it's so heart breaking..

Noctis sneaked down the hallway carefully as he followed you wherever you were headed, it did not take long until Prompto noticed him sneaking after you, he grabbed Ignis around his neck with his arm and pulled him in the other direction that he was not able to see Noctis and Shiro

"Hey Ignis! let's uhmm have another video game night, what do you say?" he was surprised a little about his sudden reaction but did not seem to be suspicious, Prompto carefully peeked over his shoulder and waited for Noctis to leave, after he was gone he released him and returned to his normal act like before.

Noctis followed you out of the school until you had finally stopped at a large tree that was on the border to his castle.. he was curious what you were doing there.. you started to bend down and dig the soil up until a dark wooden chest came to sight, he watched you as you opened it and placed the blue letter inside of it, after you were done with it he watched you how you buried the chest again and stood there looking at the spot for another few minutes before you left, Noctis waited till you were gone before he came out from his hiding place and walked to the tree, he looked down at the soil and was fighting the urge to dig up that chest and look inside of it, the curiousness was to big for him and it didn't take long until he was bend down to the ground and started dig open the ground, once he had the chest in his hands he hesitated again

"Should I really do this? maybe it's something personal? but why did she put the letter with my name on it in here?" he mumbled to himself and then he opened the chest slowly and found 3 letters inside that were all addressed with his name... his eyes grew wider as he took the last letter you had addressed with his name in his hands and opened it carefully, he started reading it but it was not what he expected it would contain.. he had the small hope that you would write down your feelings for him but instead it only contented the time you had spend together with him and how great he was as an friend.. he felt a little sad as he also read the other letters, he had hopped that you would feel more for him than just friendship.. but after he read these letters he was pretty sure that it was a one sided love... it made his heart ache in pain as he put the letters back in the chest and placed it back down in the hole, his eyes were narrowed at the wood for a moment, then he closed the hole and looked down at the spot with a change in his eyes that were even new to himself, he looked angry and somehow pissed, he walked away from the spot and wished that he had never followed you there.

The next days Noctis was absent in school, you looked over to his empty seat on the other end of the classroom, your eyes were sad and you were curious where he was... this continued for several weeks.. he was absent for over a month and no one knew where he was or what his reasons where for not coming to school, you asked Prompto a few times but even he did not know what was wrong with him, you felt your heart ache in pain as you wanted to know what the deal was with him...

A new day started and you walked in class with a tired and absent face as you could not stop thinking about Noctis, you had not slept for a few days as your mind was nonstop thinking about him, you placed your books down on your table and took a seat, it was raining outside and you looked out leaning your elbow on the table, the drops were hitting the window hard and it actually looked like the heaven was crying out desperately.. just like your heart did right now, suddenly the voices in the classroom raised as a face showed up that was not seen around for a while, you knew immediately who it was since the girls uttered his name, your heart picked up speed and your head slowly turned in the direction of the entrance door, your eyes froze as you lied eyes on Noctis for the first time since who knew how long.. he looked.. different.. his expression was cold.. really cold and emotionless, he looked like a ice block, it was nothing in compare to the happy and smiling Noctis just a few months ago... you were shocked as you saw him but at the same time happy to see that he was alright, he walked in and took a seat in his place not even bothering to look in your direction, the girls lined up around him and asked him where he was but he did not reply to a single one, finally his eyes moved and shoot you a glance that rammed a ice shard right through your heart, his eyes were filled with an emotion that made you freeze up, he looked away from you a second later with the same empty stare in his eyes, you looked away to and gripped your shirt hard to maintain your heartbeat and your cool, what was that about? was all you could think, why were his eyes so cold? what happened to him? your thoughts where unstable and you could not figure out what the sudden change was all about, this was not like him at all.. it was not the Noctis you knew and loved so much... it was like he was a totally different person..

the day had passed slowly and every minute today was as heavy as a rock for you, you wanted to ask him so badly what had happened to him and why he was acting so strange or rather why he was acting so cold but you had no courage to ask him in front of everyone else.. after school you walked down the bridge and eyed the ground still feeling the cold eyes of him looking at you in the morning, suddenly you felt your shoe stuck at a small stone on the ground and you almost tripped over it but managed to keep your balance, it made you snap out of your daydreaming and then you suddenly saw Noctis walking ahead of you, you stood there looking after him until you finally started moving your legs and run after him, you catch up rather fast and called his name once you were close enough, he stopped and turned around facing your out of breath gaze with his same cold eyes, you suddenly felt a cold shiver running down your spine as you looked at him now directly

"Is there something you want?" his cold voice asked, you felt your eyes shaking and your heart speed up at his words

"I...I was... I was worried about you.. you were absent so long.. what... what happened to you?" he looked at you for a few seconds without responding before he parted his lips and said

"I needed some time to think.." you looked at him questionably

"About what? is something wrong? D-Did I do something that makes you look at me this way like you h-hate me?" his eyes grew wider by your sudden straight to the point words and his chest hurt badly... he did not hate you, it was just that he could not bare to be around you anymore when he knew exactly that all you felt from him was friendship..

"What am I to you Shiro?" he suddenly asked, his eyes pierced yours seriously, your heart jumped at his question, where was that coming from all over sudden?? you looked into his eyes and your body started shaking from fear, did he knew something? where you to obvious?? you were sure that he did not mean the same thing you were thinking about and acted dumb

"W-What?" you whispered towards him, he then took another step closer to you and faced you head on, only a few inches where parting you now

"What am I to you? I want you to answer honestly" heat started to over float your body and your words started to stuck in your throat and block it, you started stuttering

"I-I don't understand what you want to say? You are my friend... well my best friend if you like to know exactly.." his eyes flinched

"Is that all? You consider me your best friend and that's it?" you looked up to him and could not understand what was with him, he was acting so differently and you hated it

"What is wrong with you? This is nothing like you... what happened to you all over sudden that makes you dislike me so much that your eyes look at me like they would want to crush me as if I were an insect... what did I do wrong? please... tell me?" Noctis swallowed he saw the pained eyes of yours and it broke his heart, he made you hurt and think that he would hate you but all he wanted was to know the truth... he wanted to heart those 3 words out of your mouth but he knew that this was not going to happen, he closed his eyes and took a step back letting you stand there, it was hard on him but he could not take it anymore and turned around

"I'm really sorry to say this now but... I think that it would be best if we stop being friends..." your heart stopped completely by his words, you could not breath

"W-Why?" he started walking but you grabbed his shirt and stopped him

"Why! tell me what did I do wrong that you makes you say this? tell me the reason, please!" Noctis tried hold back his pain and kept a straight face on

"You are... just not good for me..." a tear escaped your eyes as you slowly let go of his shirt and he continued walking, you stayed behind letting your tears fall from your face as you whispered

"N-Not good enough for you, you mean..".
