Today was the big day... everyone was nervous and exited, you had spend the whole day home in front of your laptop and stalked every YouTube page you could find about ball make up, you were really unskilled with make up since you never used much on yourself because you were blessed with natural beautiful skin that did not need any coverage, you only used a little bit of powder and mascara that's all for your daily routine.. you had found a make up video that looked simply enough that even someone untalented like you could get it done, you got dressed and headed out for the store to buy the needed tools.

You walked in your bathroom and placed your shopping's in the sink and started to play the video once again, you followed it step by step until you finally started to see the results, the make up look was a simple black winged eyeliner with a not to long wing on the outer corner of your eyes, you had to try a few times until you got it right but thanks to the video you were able to master it, you used some mascara to open up your eyes and let them pop, for foundation you only used something light and finished it with some light pink blush and a little highlighter above your cheek bones, your lips were only smoothed out with some lip balm that gave them a nice glow before you moved on to hair, you curled them lightly and pinned 1 strand of each side of your face to the back of your head and twisted it around lightly before you pinned it down with a bobby pin, you loosed it up a little and brought the rest of your long curly hair in the front and eyed your result which you fixed with some hairspray.

"That should be fine.. I guess" you mumbled to yourself before you heard the door bell ring, you stepped out of your bathroom and walked toward the door

"Coming!" you called and grabbed the door knob to open it, your eyes grew big as they saw who it was on the other side

"Good evening" Noctis handsome voice greeted you warmly, you felt your heartbeat rising as you saw how handsome he looked, he was dressed in a black suit with a nice bow tie and a dark blue shirt... your words were stuck in your throat as you could not take your eyes off him

"G-G-Good evening" you finally spit out stuttering and tried to quit your staring

"I'm sorry I thought you would come at 7 pm, I'm not completely ready yet.." you apologized, Noctis started to chuckled

"But it is already 7 pm" your entire body froze as your eyes slowly wandered down to your wrist watch and you noticed that he was right...

"W-What?? Omggg! I'm so sorry! I was so busy getting ready that I totally forgot to check what time it is!" you looked like a cute little puppy when you were shocked like this, Noctis continued to chuckle about your cute behavior until he decided to ease the situation up by flicking your forehead with his fingers

"Ahh.." you said softly and looked up to meet his face

"Your so cute when you do that, sorry I just could not hold myself back" he smiled and then you smiled to

"D-Do you want to come in? I only have to change into my dress" he nodded

"Sure" you stepped aside and let him walk in, you lead him to the living room and he sit down

"I'll be right back... if you want something to drink please feel free to take whatever you want" you said with a shy smile

"Thank you" you nodded and started walking back to your room.

15 minutes later you were finally done and took a last glimpse in the mirror of the full result, the blue and white dress looked absolutely lovely on you, the dress was closed high around your neck and had long arms but a transparent fabric allowed a small glimpse of your decollete shine through that was decorated with some white stones, it showed your curves nicely

"Calm down... try to breath and keep your heartbeat in check..." you picked up your clutch and walked out of your room towards the living room, Noctis was standing in front of your shelf were you father kept your childhood photos and also the ones of your mom, he heard your steps and turned around, his eyes grew big as he saw you

"C-Can I go like this?" you asked carefully as you saw him looking at you, he did not say anything for a second and you thought he was disappointed

"I'm sorry if this is not enough but that was the best I could do.." he started walking towards you and stopped only a few inches away, his eyes connected with yours

"You look absolutely stunning.." you blushed by his soft voice and looked down

"Y-You really think so?" he carefully lifted your chin with his fingers to reconnect you with his eyes

"Yes... you look amazing... I am really honored to be your date for tonight.." you blushed harder but thank god through all the make up he did not notice

"N-No.. I am the one who is honored to be your date... I know how easy it is for you to look so perfect, that's why I gave my everything to at least look presentable in your company.. I spend hours watching make up tutorial videos because I never used make up like this before... I still don't know if I choose the right one for this night.." Noctis looked at you with his beautiful sparkling eyes

"You did everything right... you look so beautiful just like you always do... If you would only stand here in a simple summer dress I would still prefer you over any other girl because not every girl is so beautiful inside and outside like you are..." your heart started pounding like crazy, his compliment was crossing a line that made you only fall more in love with him... you looked down and smiled

"You shouldn't say that.. you know how uncomfortable it makes me feel when someone is complimenting me" Noctis chuckled

"That's why I complimented you... I wanted to see that flushed face of yours when I told you the truth.." you chuckled as well

"Thank you... this really means a lot me... your words.." he stepped next to you and prepared his arm for you, you looked up and into his handsome face

"Shall we go?" he asked, you nodded and slid your arm through his

"Yes... I'm ready" you started walking with him out of your apartment and towards his car that was parked outside, on the way there you heard someone calling you and you stopped, it was your father, he had made it just in time before you left

"I'm sorry that I am late! I tried my best to get here earlier!" he apologized, you smiled and shook your head

"Don't worry dad, you made it just in time that is all that matters" he looked at you and smiled back before he eyed you closely, he took your hands in his

"My little princess.. you look absolutely stunning and beautiful tonight... I don't know what to say because I am so proud of my little girl... I wish that you mother could see you like this... she would probably cry like a maniac" you chuckled and tried to hold back your tears because of his emotional words

"Dad stop, you making me cry.." he apologized and sniffed his nose

"I'm sorry... I only want to say that you are my little girl no matter what, I love you so much and hope that you have the best night of your life with the handsome gentleman over there" you turned around and saw Noctis smiling warmly, you nodded

"I promise you that I will... this gentleman will take good care of me, I am sure of that" your father smiled and pulled you into a hug

"I love you my princess.." you hugged him back

"I love you dad..." he let you go and you walked towards Noctis, you waved him goodbye as Noctis opened the car door for you and let you enter, he got in the front and started the engine.
