The day was amazing, you and Noctis had so much fun, it was getting dark already as you walked home with him

"Hey Shiro, can I ask you something?" Noctis started, you turned your head and looked at him

"Sure, what is it?"

"Earlier today... you were crying, right?" your eyes looked away from him and met the ground

"I..." he stopped and so did you as soon as you noticed

"Shiro.. you know that you can tell me anything.. if there is something that is troubling you then you can tell me.." you nodded slowly

"I know... I'm sorry.. it's just that I don't want to trouble you with my problems.." he walked in front of you and his eyes were staring down into yours seriously

"I am your friend and friends are supposed to share their problems and help each other... I am here to listen whenever you want to talk.." his eyes were shimmering so beautifully blue and his voice was so soft and serious it made your knees weak

"Thank you Noct.. I could really use a friend to talk right now.." he carefully slid his hand into yours and started pulling you along as the street lights went on above you

"Come on, let's get to my place, we are close anyway, it's getting really cold out here" you followed him without complaining until you reached his front door, memories of the day rushed back to your head and the face of the beautiful lady who was his fiance... you swallowed before you followed him inside, you looked around shyly, his apartment looked really nice and tidy (Unusual for him as I saw in Brother Hood :D) he took off his shoes and parker

"Come in and make yourself at home" he smiled warmly, you nodded shyly and started to undo your scarf and the rest of your winter clothing, you joined him on his sofa and he handed you a cup of winter mixture tea that had a lovely cinnamon flavor

"Hmm, this smells really nice" you smiled as you inhaled the sweet flavor if the cup

"It's my favorite, I bought a bunch of them since this flavor is only available during Christmas season" you looked over to him

"You have a great taste in tea I have to say" he chuckled

"Thanks, winter season is my favorite season after all" you felt your heartbeat rising as he said that it was his favorite season to..

"Really?" he nodded

"Yeah, I love snow and Christmas-time over everything else, summer is nice but I prefer the weather like this" your eyes were sparkling and you smiled even brighter to yourself as you looked down into your cup

"I thought that I was the only one who thought like that..." he smiled

"It's your favorite season to, right?" you nodded

"Yes.. I love Christmas and winter over everything as well, there is nothing more beautiful than that." he chuckled

"It's crazy that we have so much in common" you blushed a little and cupped your hands around your cup

"Yeah it is... thank you for that, it makes me feel really happy" he placed the cup down and looked at you with serious eyes

"If you want to talk... I am here any time" you nodded and placed down your cup on the table next to his and met with his eyes, silence filled the room for a good 5 minutes until you were ready to start

"There is something I have to tell you... the reason why I was crying earlier is because I got a call from my father and he said that we might not be able to stay here till the end of the semester.." Noctis was shocked, his eyes started shaking

"W-What?? W-Why is that?" he asked trying to control his voice, you grabbed the fabric of your skirt and dug your nails into it, you closed your eyes and tried to hold back a tear

"It's because.. the hospital my father works in is about to discharge a big number of people and my father is probably one of them... if he looses his job we can't stay here for any longer.. the taxes for the school are to high and also the apartment is to expensive.. I tried everything to find a part time job to help my father but I did not have any luck in finding one, all the places I asked I got turned down... I don't know what to do anymore this is like a huge nightmare that won't let me wake up... I want to help my father out so desperately, I would do anything! I don't want him to loose his job that he loves so much, even if he does not have much time for me I want to help him, I don't want to leave this place anymore.. I finally made awesome friends like you, Prompto, Ignis and Gladiolus that I don't want to leave anymore... But the way it is looking now I don't know how much time I have left with you..." you started crying out of pain and covered your eyes with your hands, Noctis was shocked, he could not take it to see you cry like that and he reacted quickly, he got closer to you and pulled you in a deep hug, you felt the touch of his hands around your shoulders that pulled you so much closer to him

"Shh,.. it's ok, I am here with you, I will never leave your side no matter what" he brushed your head carefully as his beautiful words only made you cry harder in his chest, you just let your emotions flow out freely since you were holding them in for so long, Noctis did his best to calm you and to be there for you, his body was so warm and his arms so strong, you felt secure around him and never wanted to part away from him even if you knew that his words were only half true... he would leave you soon as well that's why you wanted to enjoy every moment you had left with him, you were sitting on the couch for quit a while until you finally stopped crying, you had dig your fingernails softly into his shirt and rested your head on his shoulder, you were sleepy and your eyes shut slowly from all the crying and the fun you had today, you inhaled the sweet flavor of his neck as you doze off to sleep unintentionally, Noctis noticed soon because your breathing had become even and really calm, he turned his head slowly to the side and watched your sleeping face resting on his shoulder, you hands were still holding on to his shirt just to make sure that he would not disappear, he smiled softly and raised his fingers to your face and brushed out a small strand of your black hair from your face and placed it behind your ear, his hand carefully cupped your face and his thumb whipped away your salty tears lightly from your pale skin, he watched you and his hand never left your face, his thoughts were over floating with the will of his heart and he found it really hard to hold himself back now, he brushed over your cheeks with his thumb to feel the soft texture of your beautiful skin as his eyes continued to watch your sleeping face

"You don't have to worry anymore... I will definitely make sure that you will never leave my side... never...".
