"Contestans. Go back to your hotel rooms and rest. You'll be waking up bright and early tomorrow!" Chris cooed as everyone else groaned. They all headed back to their hotel rooms. Noah and Cody got back to their room.

"So uhm- Again. Thanks for what you did back there." Noah mumbled, not really sure what else to say.

"Oh it was nothing." Cody replied, smiling a bit.

"I mean, how could I not help? We partners gotta stick together, right?" Cody chuckled. Noah stayed silent, staring at the smiling boy standing in front of him. He then finally snapped out of it.

"Uh, yeah. Sure." Noah looked away, avoiding eye contact. He had no idea why he was doing this. He was only in a one bedroom alone with the cutest boy ever. Cute? No, not cute. He didn't think he was cute. Never. He had Emma. That's all he needed, right? Yeah. All he needed was Emma. Emma was perfect. That's it. Just Emma. Just. Emma.

"Well...uh...how are we gonna make this bed thing work? Someone sleeping on the floor?" Noah questioned as Cody shrugged.

"I don't want you to sleep on the floor."

"I don't want you to sleep on the floor, either."

"Well I guess it's settled! We'll both be sleeping on the bed! Don't worry, I will respect your personal bubble. Unless you like to cuddle?~" Cody smirked, winking at Noah

"Haha,"  Noah gave him a fake smile before letting it drop completely. "No thank you."

"Your loss." Cody stated, letting out a soft laugh. Jesus Chris, the laughing. The smiling. The joy was just painful. He couldn't deal with this much longer.

"Whatever you say, 'Codemiester'."

"Oh my god. Don't ever remind me of the nickname again." Cody pointed at him, in shock. Noah smirked.

"What? It reminds you of the first season? Where you were literally a trashy privileged white kid. Thinking you were a ladies man?" Noah asked, Cody pouted. Not ever wanting to think about those days. But then suddenly got an idea.

"Yes. Season one. Also the season that held the awake-a-thon. Which was where you-" Noah immediately cut him off.

"We do not speak of the awake-a-thon."

"We do not speak of trashy white boy Codemiester."

"Fine. Just go to sleep." Noah said, throwing a pillow at him and sitting down on the bed. Cody caught the pillow before it could make contact with his face. He flopped down onto the bed. Earning a small glare from Noah, he did nothing but smile at him.

Finally, they fell asleep. Preparing for another day of hell. At Total Drama Romance Hotal.

April 1st, Cody's birthday. And when it was Cody's birthday. It. Was. Cody's. Birthday. And surprisingly yet also unsurprisingly, Noah knew it was his birthday. And Noah knew it was going go be a very tiring day. With Cody's constant happiness along with the challenge. Not a good thing.

"CONTESTANTS PLEASE REPORT TO THE KITCHEN FOR BREAKFAST! AFTER THAT WE RESORT TO THE LOUNGE FOR OUR NEXT CHALLENGE!"

"God damn, do you have to be so loud!?" Duncan shouted.

"YES." The announcements shut off. You could hear groans from almost every room. But Cody didn't groan. He couldn't be fustrated today. On his birthday! There was no chance Cody would stop smiling today!

Noah was not smiling. Yes, birthdays are fun. But really did not enjoy morning. Mornings are the absolute worst thing ever to exist. Next to love, happiness and alarm clocks. That's atleast what Noah thought.

Cody was already up and ready before the announcement even started. Noah eventually rolled out of bed. Heading to the bathroom, with a pair of clothes. Cody waites for him to return, way too excited for today. Noah returned, reading Cody's positive expression.

"What's going on with you?"

"I'm glad you asked! It's my-"

"Birthday. Your birthday. But we're in another season of Total Drama. So why are you so happy about your birthday?" Noah tilted his head as Cody stood here pretty shocked.

"1, Didn't know you knew it was my birthday. Cool. And 2, it's my BIRTHDAY. Of course I'm going to be in a good mood! I'm just that way." Cody's smile returned once more as Noah sighed.

"Of course you're that way. Not surprised. At. All."

"Why are you always so rude?"

"It's sorta my thing, y'know?" Noah said as Cody just gave him a look.

"Whatever, let's just get to the kitchen before Chris decides to do something about it. That guys does nothing but overreact." Cody stated, walking towards the door, Noah following behind him.

"That's true, it's almost funny. He's such a Drama King." Noah laughed, Cody smiled at Noah.

He really liked his laugh, especially since it was rare. Getting Noah to smile or laugh wasn't a very easy thing. You had to work for, which is what Cody really liked about it. He always cherished the good smiled and laughs Noah let out, knowing that they probably won't come out very soon again. But it has been a bit odd lately, Noah has been smiling and laughing more and more, and that pleased Cody but he still didn't understand why. Why was he becoming more happy? Cody wasn't conplaining- not at all! And honestly, that laugh, that smile, probably the best birthday present Cody would get today. Noah being happy would probably make Cody's birthday the best birthday in general. And that's that.

Cody had his hand on the doorknob, he looked back at Noah. Noah's smile dropped when he saw the look on Cody's face. A look of sincere happiness, he was actually joyful. Noah wasn't good with emotions, he had no idea what to do at all.

Cody pulled Noah into a tight embrace. Which made Noah's knowlegde of what to do even worse. Noah slowly and carefully wrapped his hands around Cody. Hugging him back. He was sure that's exactly how you hug someone, and he was right.

"Thanks for remembering."

"No problem, birthday boy."
