"So, why are we here at three in morning.?" Xelqua asked. He had laid his head on the meeting rooms table and was about to fall asleep at any given minute.

"ᓭ⍑ᒷリ and ᒷ↸ᓭ apparently have something important to speak of, which basically means that they have a hella lot of work to do and want to spread their misery to everyone else as well," Mao answered, not even bothering to look up from his personal communicator, in which he had somehow managed to code a very blurry and glitchy version of Tetris.

"I know that ⚍!¡'s your student and all, but why are you on his seat?" Xelqua had to inquire from the brunette, who was now sitting on his right, despite it not being his seat.

"Do you see anyone else in this meeting room?" Mao asked, still not looking up from his Tetris game.

Xelqua didn't even bother looking up, he knew that the two of them were the only ones there. "No," he answered, "But that doesn't mean that you should be sitting on someone else's seat. ᔑꖎ↸ᒷリ's gonna be pissed if he sees that," he pointed out instead. Mao just shrugged, "Doesn't matter, he can't do anything about it. Plus, it's three in the morning, do you think he has the energy to care?" Mao clicked his tongue and cursed as he lost his current game.

"You're right. I don't have the energy to care right now," – Both Xelqua and Mao snapped their heads towards Alden, who had walked in without them noticing – "But if you're still there when ⚍!¡ comes in, you better flee, or I'll make you sit in the highest audience row," The Main Leader warned, gesturing towards the rows of seats that raised in front of the eyes in a theater-like style. They were meant for the public to sit on whenever they had public meetings.

In front of the audience's seats were three long tables in the shape of the letter u. One in the middle for the Mains. On the right side of that was the table for the Leads and on the left the one of the Rookies, though only the most important Rookies – which actually contained only nine important people and some useless people who were there only as "decorations".

"I know," Mao hummed carelessly as he continued to the next game. "You're not even paying attention," Xelqua mumbled to him. "I am," the brunette assured back.

"Any idea who's the little shit responsible for this meeting?" Alden asked, sighing.

"Your left hand and right side." Mao provided the information with a grin on his face. "Blame those two little shits," he sang.

"You're the Main Leader, aren't you supposed to know what's going on?" Xelqua sounded amused.

Alden gave him a blank expression under the mask. Xelqua could read it perfectly, but Mao looked confused as he was an admin and couldn't therefore see behind the mask like other Watchers.

"It's three in the morning. I've been awake for 28 hours and don't even know what day it is–"

"It's Monday," Mao chimed in.

"Shut your mouth," Alden groaned. "But well, that explains why everything feels so shitty today. As I was saying: I have no idea what's going on, don't ask me," he finished.

"I don't think that anyone really knows," a feminine voice joined the conversation. Into the room walked an admin with silverish-brown hair that was tied to a messy ponytail. She flopped onto her chair next to where Mao was currently occupying Upton's seat.

"Where have you even been?" Xelqua asked, furrowing his eyebrows. He didn't recall seeing the admin in days.

With a blank expression she answered, "Six feet under."

"Always a great option." Mao nodded in agreement, still not looking up from his game.

"What the fuck ᑑ⚍╎リリ?" Asked a white haired Rookie Watcher as he walked into the room, looking as tired as his brother after fighting with Hermitcraft's lag-issues for hours. Xenex, Xisuma's twin brother, sat on the table on Xelqua's left.

"To be honest, even I don't know where I've been," Quinn answered, sighing. She looked tired, but Xelqua wasn't surprised, everyone was tired.

"I've drank like five cups of coffee and I can't really say if this will end well for me!" exclaimed a blue haired admin, who bursted into the room, looking really alive, yet dead at the same time.

"ᓭℸ ̣ 𝙹!¡ ᓭꖎᔑᒲᒲ╎リ⊣ ℸ ̣ ⍑ᒷ ⎓⚍ᓵꖌ╎リ⊣ ↸𝙹𝙹∷ᓭ ╎∷∴╎リ," complained the red haired Watcher following after him.

"Listen to ꖎᒷᓭ, ╎∷∴╎リ. Because I will never forgive you if you break any of my doors," Quinn warned the younger admin as he sat down the right side of the table. "Noted," Irwin hummed, not even looking at her. "You didn't even listen," Quinn groaned, which too went ignored.

"Whoever goes to the kitchen next, ignore the hole in the carpet, I'll fix it tomorrow," announced Blake as he walked in, earning a few raised eyebrows.

"For once it wasn't me!" Upton chimed in, following his closest brother to the room. "Believe me! It wasn't me!" He whined annoyedly to the doubtful expression he was getting from the Main Leader.

"It ain't just a hole in the carpet. It's missing like over half of what it used to be," Meadow informed as she followed after Blake and Upton.

"So there's still a part of it left? Last time there was nothing else than a pile of ashes," Xenex pointed out, raising his head from the table, where he had slammed it to after sitting down.

"You're supposed to be keeping the whole universe balanced, but instead you're just causing a hella lot of property damage to our own headquarters," Alden sighed, looking between everyone who had already arrived.

"What else would we be doing?" Quinn asked, looking amused.

"What about all the bodies in the basement?" Xelqua chimed in. "Property damage and murder, you should say," he corrected with an innocent smirk.

"And whose job was to clean those up?" Alden raised and eyebrow, moving his hidden eyes to Mao, who had been pushed under the table as Upton had arrived to take his own seat. "...You're supposed to be the 2nd in command. Why are you playing Tetris under the table when we have a meeting upcoming.?" The Main Leader sounded so done, yet not at all surprised.

"Son of a bitch!" The 2nd in command swore loudly as he lost the game after getting jumpscared by a notification.

The Main Leader raised an eyebrow. "Excuse me?" he commented on the swearing. "This is the meeting room, keep your mouth–"

"Those little shits delayed the fucking meeting with two hours!" Mao exclaimed, bolting up and swearing again as he hit his head on the table, making Quinn, who had fallen asleep, jump awake as well.

"What?" Xelqua snatched the communicator out of Mao's hands – as if his own wasn't right in front of him. "You got to be kidding me!" he exclaimed after reading the message.

"Well, I'm going back to Hermitcraft and never coming back here!" Xelqua announced, handing Mao his communicator back.

"Wait– How the hell is this thing in Japanese?" Mao exclaimed, turning after Xelqua, who was already escaping through a portal. "No! Get your ass back here! Chance the language back!" Mao demanded, rushing after the younger.

Grian chuckled to himself, remembering Mao's shocked expression. He landed on the spawn of Hermitcraft. The Moon was high up in the sky and the monsters were roaming in the shadows, but those didn't bother him.

He made his way to the Entity and stepped in, hiding from the dangers that lurked beyond the world illuminated by the moonlight. He made a mental note to build a starter house soon.

"Do you think that Spirit will attack tonight?" he asked from Xavier as he sat down on the moss covered stone.

"You know the answer to that question better than I do," the demon answered. Grian stiffed. "Don't you?"

"..Why would you think that? I don't know anything about her!" he cried out, refusing to look at the blurry shadow in front of him.

"I meant as in you as a member of The Council know more of her than me, who's just a demon living rent-free in your head thanks to some random ritual you accidentally did while in that prison," Xavier spoke, furrowing his eyebrows.

"Right.." Grian mumbled. "Besides, it doesn't even matter if she decides to attack. Peace isn't really an option in this world, now is it?" He hummed, tilting his head. "Violence is the only universal language after all," he quoted an old brother of his.

"I don't know what you've seen or where exactly have you come from, but after that I really don't want to know.." Xavier groaned, seeming a bit bothered.

"Xenex is spamming me again," Grian said, ignoring Xavier. His eyes were glued on his communicator that was buzzing madly. "Neither Zloy or Pixlriffs are awake to let him into Hermitcraft."

"Are you going to let him in?" Xavier inquired, looking at the communicator screen through Grian's eyes.

"Nope," he answered, popping the p. "Last time he was supposed to help me, he ran away. Now I'm taking my revenge," he explained, pressing send after writing 'Fuck you'.

"Grian? Are you still awake?" A familiar voice called from outside. The strawberry blonde immediately snapped his head towards the entrance.

"Scar, what are you doing here at this hour?" Grian asked, peering out into the darkness.

"Pearl, Xisuma, Cleo and I were about to start playing Monopoly. Do you want to join as well?" Scar peeked into the Entity. Grian stared at him blankly. "Is that a yes.?" Scar asked.

"It's past three in the morning," Grian pointed out. "Well, nothing better to do," he shrugged, pushing himself up from the floor.

"Great! We've chose to play in Keralis' attic," Scar informed, grabbing Grian's arm to pull him with him.

"I'm not going to question that at all, let's go."

Haha, let's ignore that over a month long gap between the chapters– I started an Undertale cosplay Tiktok and it's been taking my time lately, but now I'm getting my writing motivation back.
