the story that yall have been waiting for...

lmao who am i kidding, two ppl wanted to hear it

but anyways

buckle up your seatbelts kiddos bc its abt to get exciting

so i used to be in this thing for three years

it was called the unites states naval sea cadet corps (USNSCC)

and oml its not lame JROTC or ROTC, this shit was actually real

this was a thing run by the u.s. navy where u train to be in the navy

so i had to go to this three week boot camp with kids all over america

it was over the summer and i had to do it in order to be a chief petty officer (CPO)

*que flashback to when i was actually in shape*

so the last night of the boot camp i had to do watch with my friends Owens and Thomas

watch is basically when u patrol the campus at night with like 2 other ppl for a couple of hours and you write down everything that happens

it was the last night and every three hours we're supposed to switch with another group so we can sleep

so im at watch outside with my two amigos, just chillin

our watch started at 9pm and was supposed to end around 11pm

we're supposed to wait for the other ppl to get here so they can relieve us and take over

but them bitches never came

so we had to just stay there the whole night, since EVERY single group of ppl never came to replace us

and its like 3am in the morning, and us three are just sitting behind a table,  table

when a pair of eyes show up

we all start freaking out and we're like "o shit what do we do?"

we all decided to just leave it alone, that maybe it was just our sleep deprived little brains

but twas not

twas a wild doggo

twas a bitch doggo

it starts coming towards us slowly, growling, and we dont know what to do and start freaking out

and o hell naw, we aint just gonna sit there and be eaten

so we stand up slowly and just walk backwards slowly down the trail

and keep in mind that this campsite was HUGE

bigger than my future

anyways

it was like around 20 miles in total size with a huge forest all around it, and we (like 100 other kiddos had it all to ourselves) so it was creepy as fuckkk

sorry im getting distracted

so thomas, owens and i just slowly walk down the path backwards with our flashlights in our hands

keep in mimd, we still have a huge ass growling dog like 15 ft away from us

we tried not to shine the flashlights in the dogs face, bc we didn't wanna make it attack us, ig

but dumbass thomas (i love him but he can be an idiot sometimes i swear)..

...decides to shine the bright ass flashlight into the tree next to us

and OFC, with my luck, there just happened to be a fam of bats in there

all of them just flew away, besides one little fucker

the petty ass bat flew towards us and started attacking us

we didnt get hurt or anything bc we had hoodies and jackets on bc it was cold af

the batty flew away after a scarring minute, and ig the bat scared away the dog bc it wasnt there when we looked back

now we SONIC SPRINT all the way back towards our watch table

ik what u must be thinking,

"why why the hell would u go back to the table, u dumbass?"

WELL u could literally get in so much trouble for leaving its not even funny

so we were forced to stay awake the whole night just sitting there

we wouldve taken turns sleeping like we did at another watch but none of us rlly wanted to doze off after that

now let me tell u smth

every morning we were forced to get up at 4am to run 6 miles (3 to the bunks and 3 miles back) in the pitch black darkness

(also now my lazy ass can only run like a mile and a half, WTF HAPPENED)

and keep in mind we started at 9PM at night

and now its 4AM in the morning

we literally got no sleep and we were forced to run the miles

we were DYING but were allowed to take a two minute break halfway through bc the CPO1 was my best friend's older brother

antone's bro got screamed at by the commanding officer for doing that but like we needed it sooooo yah

yah this is rlly all for the story

the food was crap but it was pretty fun besides all the shit that happened

sorry btw that this chap is so long
