MIA

Soul immediatly lifted Lizzy into his arms and ran out of the shop with the rest of us in toe. 

"Noah! Mind Link the Alpha! Tell him the baby is coming!" I said urgently. He nodded and did so while we were all running. 

Lizzy was holding her stomach and was groaning from the pain. 

"It's okay Lizzy, we're almost home." Solomon said to her, 

"Someone tell Xander!" Another groan in pain. 

"I already Lizzy." Noah informed her. Another wave of pain came over her. I frowned. Her contraction are very close together. The baby's coming fast. 

When the pack house came in sight, we all were relieved. The front door burst open and Xander jumped out, sprinting towards. His eyes were totally focused on Lizzy.

"Give her to me." He growled. Soul passed Lizzy to Xander. She groaned through another wave of pain. She wrapped her arms around Xander's neck. He kissed her forehead, "It's gonna be okay Izzy. Everything is going to be okay."

Xander looked at and nodded towards the house. I looked to Noah and he looked down at me. I gave him a small smile and a peck on the cheek before rushing to follow Xander. 

He went up to their room and laid Lizzy on the bed.

"I want to push!" Lizzy whimpered. 

"I know Lizzy. You will soon." I told her. 

I looked at the door and saw Zapora looking worried. "Zapora! I need you to get some old sheets and tell Soul to get big bowls of hot and cold water. Hurry!"

I quickly put on my gloves and tied my hair back into a braid. "Xander I need you to place your hand on her stomach." He did as I said, 

"Why?" He asks.

"A birth flows more smoothly when mates have physical touch." He nodded and kept whispering words into Lizzy's ear. 

Zapora came in with sheets and Soul quickly placed the bowls of water on the desk. He quickly went out not looking at Lizzy. 

I dipped some of the sheet in the cold water and squeezed it. I placed it on Lizzy's forehead. I grabbed a hold of her dress and pushed it up to her waist. I then pulled her underwear down. I need to check how far she is. I dipped my two fingers inside of her and tested how far the baby is. From what I felt...not far at all. 

"Lizzy, I know this is uncomfortable, but you need to go on all fours. It is the quickest and safest way to deliver the baby."

She nodded her head. Xander grabbed a hold of her arm and helped her rotate so than she was on her arms and legs. 

"Okay, good girl. You're doing well Lizzy. I need you to spread your legs a little." She did as said. 

I grabbed some of a hot cloth and wiped her area. It helps widen the cervix. "Okay Lizzy, I need you to push now. Push as hard as you can for ten seconds."

I heard her growl and groan as she tried her hardest to push. She kept doing this till I started to see the crown of the baby. I couldn't help, but smile, "You're doing to well Lizzy! Your baby is crowning. You need to push as hard as you can for as long as you can!"

I could hear her silently sobbing from the pain. I felt bad for her, but I knew she was strong. She let out a loud growl and pushed as hard as she could. The baby's head came and the rest of it's body slipped out as well. I caught the baby in my arms and she immediatly started to cry. It was a good sign that she was healthy.

"Congradulations Alpha and Luna. You have a healthy baby girl!" Lizzy collapsed back on the bed and looked at her daughter. Tears of joy ran down her face. Xander's eyes looked a little glossy too. 

I wrapped the baby in a soft and clean blanket and placed it on Lizzy's chest.

"If you want, you can try and breast feed her now." Lizzy nodded at me and smiled.

"Thank you Mia. Thank you so much for your help."

Xander bowed his head at me, "Yes, thank you Mia. I honestly don't know what I'd do without you."

I smiled and bowed my head in respect towards them.

I walked out of the room and saw Solomon, Noah, Eddie and another standing and pacing while Zapora was was with her two daughters and Xavier and Kieth. 

When they saw me their eyes widened. I laughed, "It's a girl! And she's perfectly healthy!"

All of them broke out into big smiles. Well, except Noah. He just had a small smile. But it was a big one for him. 

The man I didn't recognise walked up to me, "Hello, my name is Lincoln. I've heard a lot about you. It's nice to finally meet you."

"It's nice to meet you to, Lincoln. Shall I make everyone some food while we let the Alpha's family have some alone time?"

Lincoln smirked and looked at Noah, "I see why you're so taken with her."

Noah just rolled his eyes and shoved him, "Shut up you little tosser." Lincoln chuckle. 

I ducked my head down and slightly blushed. I turned to Xavier, "Hey your mum and dad want you in the room."

His face broke out in a smile as he raced inside and shut the door. I went into the kitchen and began to make some some beef stew with some nice bread. 

As I was sprinkling some spices in, a pare of hands held unto my hips. I smiled and looked up. Noah's looked down at with a soft gaze. "I'm proud of you." He whispered in my ear. 

"What for?"

"For what you did in there. I guess I didn't know how much of a healer you actually were until I saw that you fully delivered a baby. It was impressive."

I smiled and looked down as I felt the heat crawl to my skin. I guess I wasn't used to getting compliments. 

Noah gently held my chin and lifted my face up. His pressed his lips against my own softly. I smiled against his. I had my hands on his sides while his hands were cupping my cheeks. 

"You are so beautiful." He whispered to me. I like it when he said that to me. I didn't feel dirty when he said it. I actually feel like I believe him when he says I am beautiful. 

I closed my eyes and I laid my head on his chest. He wrapped his arms around me and we just stay in each other's embrace for a while. We won't be able to do this for much longer. 

"Is the food ready?" I giggled and looked at the entrance where, Kieth, Lilly and her little sister Agatha was was. Agatha looked around about two. She was standing with a pacifier in her mouth and a pink bow in her hair. 

"Yes the food is ready. Go tell everyone."

They pumped their arms in the air, "Food! The food is ready everyone!" They ran out and screamed throughout the house. 

I went and got some food ready to bring to the Alpha family. They'd be hungry after that big event. 

But then a thought occurred in my mind as I was preparing their meals. 

"Noah?" I asked. I looked over my shoulder and saw he was eating a spoon full of stew from the pot. 

"Hmm?" He mumbled. 

"When you made breakfast for me, did you really make too much on accident?"

He frowned, "Of course not. I just wanted to make you breakfast." I knew it! Sneaky little devil. 

I shook my head and laughed to myself quietly. I took the tray of food and went upstairs to the Alpha's bedroom. I knocked on the door and waited for a response. 

"Come in." I heard. 

I came in and my heart melted when I saw that the Luna was fast asleep with the baby on her chest and Xavier beside her in bed. Xander was lying on the other side awake. 

I smiled and whispered, "I brought some food just case you all were hungry."

He bowed his head, "Thank you Mia. I appreciate it." 

I laid the tray on thier desk and left them for their family time. 

When I went back to everyone else, they had all finished their food. I was glad they all seemed to like it. I got started with collecting all of the dishes at washing all of them.  But then a large hand stopped be from washing. 

"Have you eaten?" I felt warmth from his concern. 

"No, but I'm really not that hungry."

He placed his hands on my hips and spun me so than I was facing him. He rested his arms on the bench behind my on either side of my body. He had a frown on his face, "You should eat. Don't be stubborn."

I rested my hands on his chest and rolled my eyes, "I'm fine! Honestly. I had eaten earlier. I am just really not hungry right now."

He sighed, "Fine. But if you don't eat in an hour...I am going to feed you myself."

I giggled and nodded my head, "Deal."

"Good." I kissed my forehead before leaving to make sure everyone was okay in the lounge. 

As I was doing the dishes, it struck me. Lizzy has given birth. Alpha Kendrick and Sophie will be here in the next three days. Noah will be married in the next three days. I felt the hole inside my chest begin to grow. The anticipation was killing me. I hated the thought of not being with Noah. But knowing that I will never ever be with Noah kills. 

I laid my hand on my stomach. Helping Lizzy give birth today made me think about what it would have been like to have been pregnant with his child. To have raised a family together. See them grow up and meet their own mates and end making grandchildren. But I knew that it will always just be a dream because it can never be my reality. 

I took a deep breath. Enough of that Mia. I need to live in the now. Noah is still here with me. That's all that matters. 

I walked out of the kitchen and went into the lounge and saw everyone was watching a movie. I looked and saw it was Titanic. I internally laughed. I remembered the first time I watched this. Sophie told me Jack doesn't die...I bawled my eyes out when I found out she was a liar. I couldn't believe it. 

It was actually up to that scene. I looked around the room and saw Noah was on the other side looking at the screen in total boredom. I wanted to sit next to him, but I knew I didn't want to make anythign suspiscious. So I just sat on the floor and watched.  It was the scene where Rose realized that Jack was dead. I frowned when I watched this scene. My heart started to hurt. When she started to silently cry, I could feel my own tears slowly forming because it was a situation that I knew I had to face a well.

I'll never let go....I promise

I never knew how important those words were till now. When rose said that to Jack...I felt like it was me saying it to Noah. I looked away from the screen and took a deep breath. I shook my head and acted like nothing was wrong. I looked back and saw that she was letting go of his hand and he was slowly sinking down deep into the ocean...never to be seen again. 

Fresh tears ran down my cheeks. It was took painful. I couldn't watch anymore. I silently stood up and walked out of the room, but I did notice a pair of intense blue eyes watching me as I left. As soon as I got into the hallway, I placed a hand on my chest and took deep breath's as tears run down freely. It was hard to breath. I felt the pain in heart grow. I felt like I was losing Noah right now. 

I felt someone pull me from behind, spin me around and gripped me tightly against their chest. Sparks flew across my skin, knowing exactly who it was. I wrapped my arms around his waist and fisted his shirt in my hands. 

His arms were secured around me. "Ssshhh, just breath Mia."

"I'm losing you." I whispered. 

"Don't say that, love. You ain't losin me. Stop that thinking. You have to stop."

I looked up at him. His eyes looked pained when they I had been crying, "Damn it Noah! How can I not? I can't spend the rest of my life with my mate! How can I not think about it? It is constantly at the back of my mind like a big shadow waiting to consume me. I don't get to have you!"

He pulled me back in and I cried into his chest. He laid his hand on the back of my head and stroked my hair. I felt his chest vibrate as he started to hum a song. And then I felt him gently starting to sway us to the rhythm of his humming. I realized he was humming the song that we danced to on the night of the ball. 

I just let myself be in his safe arms and slowly danced to his song in the hallway.
