The managers of both groups had all found out about the secret meetings between Sun and Yixing by that moring, and both agencies didn't hesitate to issue a statement on the matter. Even with the bits of evidence--photographs taken by paparazzi and clips from security footage at the park nearest the Han River--SM and Pledis claimed that the images had been manufactured in order to make their idols, and subsequently the agencies, look bad. That was the face they showed the public.

They were much more strict with their idols. Sun had been suspended from all group activities until further notice, while Yixing had been confined to his dorm room unless he were going to the SM building for practices. 

News of their secret relationship was the only thing anyone would talk about in the gossip programs and magazines. Sun was oblivious to all of it, since she had remained in her room under the excuse that she was ill. She hadn't used her phone in days, she couldn't eat, she couldn't sleep. At one point, both Minnie and Sarang had to force feed her because she was refusing to do it herself.

The other members were resentful of Sun because she had lied to them. The girls closest to her were most disappointed because they thought she would talk to them about things like that. Only Minnie quickly forgave her. Yoona and Rin were still upset about her lies, while the other girls in the group she wasn't as close with. But they had still taken the news badly, particularly Bom, who now resented the maknae because of all the special treatment she felt that Sun had always gotten.

When it came to Yixing and his group mates, most of them resented him for keeping that to himself. They had once been like brothers and now it felt like the tensions in their group were separating them. Only Lu Han and Tao still talked to him and supported him, and Jongdae did as well, although begrudgingly since they were room mates and he was forced to have contact with Yixing. He had even asked for a room change, without letting Yixing know, but the managers had denied him that.

Things seemed to get worse when Yifan--EXO M's leader--began distancing himself from the other boys. There were rumors that he had requested solo opportunities and that the agency denied him the chance. Other rumors at the agency claimed that he was in such a bad mood now because he was having health issues and his schedules left him with no time to seek the medical attention he needed. What Yixing did know for sure was that Lu Han, Yifan, and Kyungsoo were not speaking to each other anymore. Neither were Yifan and Minseok.

Yifan's falling out with Lu Han and Kyungsoo had happened at the SM spring carnival, which was nothing but a blur to Yixing since it was around the time that he felt hopeless and confused about continuing his relationship with Sun. But he had heard from Baekhyun that when he and Lu Han went to the kissing booth because he wanted a kiss from Taeyeon, another girl came to take her place. It had been Tao's sister and Baekhyun encouraged his hyung to get a kiss from her since they had stood in line for a half hour. Yifan saw this and since he had taken a liking for Tao's sister when he saw her performances on youtube, he became upset with Lu Han for it. Kyungsoo then got into the argument, telling his hyungs that they weren't allowed to date a friend's ex.

From that day on, Yifan didn't talk to the two boys. Lu Han had talked to Kyungsoo about it and they made up, but when he tried to talk to Yifan, the EXO M leader refused to listen.

His argument with Minseok had happened not long after that, but Yixing didn't know what the reason for their falling out was. All he knew was that it was the reason why Minseok was now dorming with Lu Han and Tao, and that Yifan was rather hostile with all the other group members these days. Yixing tried to give him his space. 

Now the environment between the boys was cold and sometimes even hostile when they had dance practices. On days in which they had free time, they no longer invited each other out to have fun. Instead they did their own thing.

Nearly two weeks after the news exploded about Sun and Yixing's secret relationship, Yifan decided to leave EXO and SM Entertainment.

The news shocked everyone because they knew he was unhappy, but he hadn't told anyone that he wanted to leave, or that he was thinking about leaving. The day that it happened, he merely packed his belongings and moved out of the dorm building without saying a word to anyone. Though it hadn't been so easy for him. 

The agency, his group mates, and even a fan tried to stop him.

But he had already decided it.

There was no turning back.

Just two weeks away from their first tour as a group they had lost one member.

she has been such a great person to me, even though i haven't always deserved it. but i know that she deserves only the best. right now she's going through a rough time, and it breaks my heart because i have learned to care about her so much. 

now there is someone who has broken her heart. someone she deeply cares about. this person is heart broken too, and i understand. 

but i can't respect someone who makes a wonderful woman like her cry.

her only fault was loving someone so much that she wanted to protect them from all harm. if that was a crime, then she is guilty because park mae is one of the most caring people i know.

be strong, sunshine.

you light up my days.

and to that person who has hurt her, please re-think about your decision before its too late.

Sun saw Aron's post on instagram the morning that she finally decided to get out of bed. It was pointless to remain there in her own world while everyone else around her moved on. She needed to continue with her life as best she could. The instagram post she had been tagged in was essentially slamming Yixing for making Sun unhappy in ending their relationship. 

She was grateful to Aron for defending her that way.

But she never thought it was Yixing's fault to begin with. She still blamed herself for their failed relationship. 

Online there were mixed emotions about the news which had been relevant for almost two weeks now. Even the drama of EXO's Kris leaving the group did nothing to make the news of her and Yixing die down. About half of the people online absolutely hated her now because they thought that she had cheated on Aron with Yixing. They included a combination of EXO fans who already didn't like her, but now there were even Nu'est and even Girls Generation fans in the mix. They hated her for ruining Aron's life, as they put it, and for taking another girl's boyfriend.

But no one knew the real story, and Sun knew she wouldn't be able to tell it unless she had the approval of Pledis. As of now, they were still denying the rumors and trying to do some damage control of the situation.

She showed up to group practices that morning and about half of her group members glared at her as she entered the room. From the start, Sarang hurried to her side and pulled her into her embrace. "So happy you finally decided to join us for practices again." She said to her with a warm smile.

But Bom snorted. "Oh, look everyone. Princess Mae finally returned."

Next to her were Yunseo, Hani, Miran, Nahre, and Ara. All of them wore disapproving expressions on their faces as they regarded their maknae who had once been as Bom put it, the golden member. No one could touch her, but no one wanted to because she was the favorite and the most beloved by the other group members and by the fans.

Sarang, Minnie, Rin, Juri, and Suk all stood next to Sun as a showing of their support. 

"I'm really sorry about keeping all of these things from you girls." Sun began in a quiet voice, close to the brink of tears. She could feel the burning glares of her other group mates on her.

Bom was the one to reply, giving a shake of her head along with her response, "I can't and I won't forgive you. Its not fair that you got so many opportunities when the rest of us would have gotten punished after one slip up." She accused, her words full of venom. She had gotten one of the leaders on her side--Yunseo--but Bom was the one really running the anti-Sun group. 

Bom was the maknae of the subgroup BLK, only being about five months older than Sun. She had been the original Baby Lips maknae before they debuted. The group had been set to debut with eleven members when Sun was added to the line up after training for about one year. Bom had always been jealous of how quickly Sun was invited to join Pledis--without even auditioning--because Lina unnie had heard her singing while shopping in a supermarket. Her entire career had been a big jump to the top while Bom struggled and trained for four years to get to where she was.

Some people always had it easy and Sun was one of them.

She was a main vocalist, she spoke several languages since she had been placed in the multi language subgroup, she was the favorite among the fans, and she even was one of the four main visuals. 

"You don't know anything--" Sarang tried to explain to them once again.

While it was true that Sun had been given more chances because she was the maknae, it was also true that she got punished for many things, even if the agency kept those truths a secret. 

Sun sighed, stopping her unnie from continuing. "Its really no use, unnie. They'll believe what they want about me. I already apologized and they can accept it if they want. But one thing's for sure, I'm not gonna beg for their forgiveness when they have so much resentment towards me in their hearts. They have finally shown their true colors."

"The same way you showed us yours." Bom argued.

Sun said nothing. 

They really didn't know anything. Many of the things that she had kept a secret were because the agency had forced her to.

Hostilities between the members of Baby Lips seemed to rise with each passing day. They only tolerated each other long enough during dance practices, but Sun could feel the resentment radiating off them like a heat lamp. If they had gotten so upset with her over a lie that wasn't their business to begin with, she could already imagine that many of them hadn't liked her all that much to begin with.

But she had been genuinely surprised with Yunseo's drastic change. She had always been--like Sarang--an older sister figure to her. Yunseo and Sarang had been the firsts to take her under her wing when she was thrown into the group and told that she would debut with Baby Lips after only about one year of training. 

Now they were both less than strangers--they were like enemies.

Bom had turned the other members against her by using the reasoning that Sun was a liar which could not be trusted. She always knew that she and Bom had conflicting personalities and that perhaps they often disagreed. But Sun never hated Bom. Meanwhile Bom--one of the main dancer of Baby Lips--had so much resentment, jealousy, and even hate towards her.

The twelve were gathered in their dance practice room with Lina, who had news for them concerning their upcoming tour.

"Everything is set for you girls to kick off the Across the Stars tour next weekend." She informed them with excitement lacing her every word. But the girls didn't feel is as much as she did. Some were too invested in their anti-Sun campaign with Bom, while Sun could only think about trying to get Yixing back.

"Where will we be performing first?" Sun wondered aloud.

Her words earned her a glare from Bom and her group. Everything she said served to annoy the other girls now.

Lina shook her head st Sun. 

"We will be at the Seoul Olympic Stadium next weekend." She corrected Sun. "You're not going, maknae. You will stay in the dorms--in solitary confinement--until further notice."

Lina's statement took everyone in the room by surprise, including Bom.

oooh things keep getting more and more dramatic. and i hope you're all enjoying this because i sure am having fun writing it. also, thank you all for the 3.5K reads in this story. that means so much to me because i remember when i started posting on here, which wasn't too long ago.

i barely got any reads. but that's not what is most important to me. i just hope you all have enjoyed this story.

since we're only like nine chapters from finishing this book. i might update more frequently than i already do. so im very sorry if all my posting becomes overwhelming.
