Connor's POV

Kevin pulled away with a horrified look on his face, "I'm sorry, I can't do this anymore." With that, he quickly grabbed his things and bolted out of the library.

45 minutes earlier

I ran into the library, past the guys playing D & D and to the back table. "I am so sorry I'm late, I got caught up talking to Chris and I-"

"Dude, it's fine. I was like ten minutes late to the first few practices so I'm not worried about it," he replied.
Thank God. "Well anyway, (no Sincerely, Me or All American Prophet references or I stg) since you're doing better, we should just run through everything, sound good?"

"That sounds fine," he said, pulling his script out of his backpack.

We ran through lines for a while until we got to the infamous rooftop scene. Kevin was getting really good at it until...

"Oh yeah?! And if I were a boy you'd be looking at me through one SWOLLEN EYE!"

"GIVE ME YOUR BEST SHOT."

And then he did the thing that thing where he swoops Olivia in for the kiss and then some crazy shit happened. He kissed me.
Kevin Price kissed me.
Kevin "Super Mormon" Price kissed me: Connor "gayer than gay" McKinley.
Kevin.
Kissed.
Me.
WHAT THE HELL!?!?!?!?!?

It was so lovely. At first I was rigid but it took about two seconds for me to completely melt into Kevin's arms and kiss back. I didn't think this would ever happen, not in a million years.

He was so gentle, not like you'd expect, yet there was a sort of urgency to the kiss. A feeling of "I've waited too long for this". And I must say, I felt the same way. But, like all good things, that beautiful kiss came to an end. Rather quickly, I might add. Kevin pulled away with just as much urgency as he had kissed with, shoved me away and quickly began to gather his things. He looked utterly terrified and couldn't stand to look at me. Even as he said, "I'm sorry, I can't do this anymore." And with that, he bolted out the door.

Kevin's POV

Jack wasn't done with basketball practice yet, so I just walked home. I also didn't want him to drive me. If he did, he would ask if I had been crying, which I would have to lie about, and disappoint Heavenly Father even more. I thought I'd gotten over this whole homophobia and super religious thing, but it was still there. I furiously wiped away tears as I began to trek the mile and a half to my house.

What the heck is wrong with me? Why did I kiss him? H. I. M. A guy! I couldn't handle it. It would've been one thing had Connor kissed me. But I kissed him. That makes me a fag. A homo that is destined to rot in hell. This was all too much. Maybe I wouldn't get sent to hell because I was kissing my soulmate? No, that couldn't be. Mom and Dad said that if there are ever same-sex couples that are soulmates, God had made a mistake. This means me and Connor must just be another one of those mistakes.

Mom had just got home with Joey from yet another church activity. Is that what they would do to me if they ever found out? Nevermind that, they won't find out, because it will never happen again. 
My stressed out thoughts were interrupted but to buzzing of my phone. I glanced at it:
