Chapter 16: Dipper-MIA
We all sat down to dinner. Deer-Diipper, Mer-Mabel, and Dragon Me weren't joining us because they liked to eat outside. Besides, it took Dragon Me quite a long time to even get through the doorway with her huge wings.
So it was just us and genderbend us. Dipper's leg was still broken and his crutches were behind him. I felt bad for him. I knew he hated them. I've never broken my leg, but I've broken my arm and my vertibrae before, so I kinda understood his pain.
Caleb sat next to me. He seemed nice enough, but I knew that if we started a fight, it could go on forever, since we knew each other's weaknesses. But still, seeing yourself in genderbend is really weird. Shaggy brown hair, green eyes with brown near the pupil and a speck in the left one, freckles, acne, that one tooth that grew in sideways... yeah, it was weird. He was also really skinny and it looked like he spent more time in the library then at the gym. I could relate.
Mabel passed us the tray of fruit, and we both made the exact same face. "No thanks," I said.
"I'll pass," Caleb said.
We both smiled self countously and went on trying to listen to other's conversations. Dipper and Dip were talking about some board game called Dungens, Dungens and More Dungens. I was intrested in it for about three seconds, until I heard it was all about math. Math was the worst! Instead, I listened to Mabel and Marco's conversation. They were discussing who knows what in there own world.
I glanced at Caleb, trying to make small talk. "So...what did you do back in your dimention?" I stabbed at my mashed potatoes without gravy on them. Caleb's were the same. Someone was actually as picky as I was.
Caleb shrugged. "I guess I do a lot of reading and, uh, writing."
He seemed embaressed about the writing part, but I smiled. "I like those too. In fact, before this happened, I was in the middle of writing my first book."
"Let me guess," Caleb said. "It's a half finished novel with a bunch of errors about these two friends, one who's depressed, and the other who tries to get her through it and you kinda just go off that."
I nodded. "That's so weird."
Caleb nodded. "Then, I guess you're into animation too?"
"Yes!" I said. "And art and music."
"Let me guess," Caleb said. "Clarinet. Band since fith grade?"
I nodded, giggling slightly. "That is so weird!"
Caleb smiled. He opened his mouth to say something, when something suddenly flashed behind Dipper. He staggered to his feet, yelping slightly as he put pressure on his broken leg, then was grabbed by the hood of his sweatshirt by a humanoid figure with a triangular head, one eye, and a mouth. "You'll do," he said, then Dipper and the humanoid was gone.
~
"Dipper!" Mabel was the first one to shake off her shock. He ran to where he was last standing. "W-where-what?"
"H-he's gone," Marco said. "Who was that?"
"Even more important," Dip said. "How did he get here? I thought that dimention traveling and junk was all messed up right now."
Deer-Dipper trotted inside. "What was that?" He asked. He looked around. "Where's Dipper?"
"Something took him!" Mabel wailed, crying into Marco's sweater. "Jist like Stan." She whispered the last part so it was barely audable.
"It was a human, but had a triangle head like Bill."
Deer-Dipper looked scared and bit his lip. "Well...that's because it...was Bill. From our dimention."
Mabel looked up. "Where'd he take him?"
Dipper shrugged. "I don't know. But I do know someone who might."
~
Will winced when we summoned him. He was cowering with his arms over his head. Dip rolled her eyes. "We're not gonna hurt you."
Will glanced up. "What do you want?" He asked quietly.
Marco did the talking for Mabel, since she was too devestated. First Stan, now Dipper. The poor girl. "We need you're help," Marco said. "Another Bill from...whatever dimention he's from," he pointed to Deer-Dipper. "Stole Dipper from this dimention. We were wondering if you knew where he was."
Will shrugged, still quivering slightly. "I don't know."
"But you tracked Kayla," Mabel snapped, causing Will to cower and let out a wimper.
"That was d-differnet," Will tried to explain while stuttering. "T-the o-other gi-irl h-h-had m-my powers, s-so it was eas-sier t-to track h-her."
Mabel threw up her hands. "What good does it do to have a demon on my side who doesn't even know how to save someone?!"
I grabbed Mabel around the arm gently, but firmly and pulled her back before Will bursted into tears. "Calm down, Mabel."
"I am calm!" She shouted.
It took a little bit, but she eventually stopped yelling and hugged me. "I'm so sorry," she whispered. "I just..." she started to cry onto my shoulder.
"Maybe you should get some rest," I told her. "We'll figure this out in the morning."
Mabel nodded, sniffing. I led her upstairs and she was outcold before I even turned the lights out.

Hey, another update!
What?
Maybe school actually helps me write.
During the summer, I guess I'm just not in the mood for it.
But during school, whenever I zone out, I can write the stories in my head and write them down later.
So, yeah,
Hope y'all like how this is going.
