There was no right time to slip from the world's finger tips and fade into permanent darkness. There was no right time to say goodbye and no right time to leave everything you've ever known behind. But for Nari, anytime was the right time as long as it was at her terms.

As long as she died how she wanted, she was okay with leaving everything behind. She didn't have much to leave behind anyway, so what was the point of dragging her misery onward?

She'd rather die from an overdose than of sickness, alcohol poisoning as opposed to old age and would even rather let the cigarettes kill her lungs than die in a car accident. As long as she went at her terms, she really didn't mind. She came to peace with it.

People told her it was scary to be okay with death at such a young age, but she didn't really see why. Not when drugs made you feel like you were at the top of the world. That was an exchange she'd be willing to make. Momentary glory in exchange for an escape- a win-win.

Addiction is what Nari told herself would take her from this world. And she was partially right.

Whether it was alcohol, pills or cigarettes, something was always calling her name until she picked it up. It sent her in a spiral or misery and glory all in one. Her life was hell but felt like heaven.

It was an endless loop really. Addiction began as an escape, only to make her life worse so she'd run back- So she'd spend more money.

But everything changed one night. Everything. It's at that moment she decides to get clean and the cycle was broken. While nobody else knows why other than Nari herself, she suddenly wanted a better life.

She wanted to live. Even if that meant she'd swim in debt and drag her feet through the life she'd created because of her past life.

So when she's presented with the opportunity to get more than enough money to pay off her debt and buy herself a better life, she doesn't hesitate to take the offer.

Even if it turns out to be nothing like she expected.
