It's main purpose is to ground you. Think of it this way: Negativity is like the heavy winds and your stress is a small storm. Now, picture yourself as a tree. What do trees do in the heavy winds? They stand grounded and rooted. Thin ones fall but thick ones stand grounded. Do that and all will go just fine. Eventually, the storm will pass and so would the person's negativity that stressed you out. Works greatly on me whenever I have my down days."
In case anyone has a really bad day, remind yourself how she handles it. Maybe it might help you, too. She's doing good in case anyone wishes to know how she's been doing lately.
