"Your such an idiot!" I shouted as I stopped the ball, laughing at the few ditches she left from the previous attempts.

The following Monday, as far as I could remember, would be the last good Monday I'd have for a long time.

As days went in my life, this was the calmest. I had spent pretty much the whole day messing with Ivory. Even the normal ball messing/playing seemed better that day and they say Mondays are the worst.

Okay well technically they were.

I tried some tricks with my hockey stick, trying to look cool but failing, and passed the ball back to my girlfriend.

My girlfriend...

The first week had gone by so that meant it was off to a good start, right? For a second that addictive warmth filled me as Ivory tapped the ball back towards me.

And just like that, it was gone. The deadline was approaching, faster than the waves moving closer to the shore. This didn't feel any different to the previous relationships. In a way they were all the same. She was my friend, my bestfriend. She knew me inside and out without my dark secrets. She was more beautiful and magnificent than most of them.

I wanted it to last. God, why couldn't it last?

My fingers glowed. Well not literally glowed but they warmed like they had touched magic itself. It had been like that for hours.

Let me explain.

Earlier, once again in Economics, Ivory and I had been messing around. And by messing around I mean being childish. What were you thinking? In this particular instance I was trying to get something from her which she was hiding under her desk. I had been reaching over her shoulders trying to get it when my hands touched something that they weren't supposed to.

And I am not talking about the gum under the desk.

It was the first time I let my mind wonder there. How sweet would those lips taste on mine? How heated could things get or would she push me away? How far would things go?

My perverted thoughts made me miss the pass causing Ivory to laugh.

It'll never happen.

"Hey. I know we, and by we I mean me, are having a good time messing around but practice is starting soon so I have to go." She said, trying to hold back her laughter. She ran, jumped and hugged me almost making me fall.

"See you, Gold." I laughed as she ran to her team. I, on the other hand, was very late for my practice but I didn't care.

My eyes traveled to the hospitality centre where Blair Summer and her group usually hung out. But it wasn't Blair on my mind. It was Adeline. Something had happened to make her outcast herself from that group. Something she hadn't told me. Yet.

The message popped into my head from where I shoved it before.

Adeline: I have a cousin... She's apparently having some...trouble and my mother wants me to help her. Family and all that.

I get what she was saying but I still didn't know my part in this.

Adeline: I need you to go talk to her since I have my own problems. Which you probably know already...Anyways, I need you to find her and send her my way. She hangs out with that ex of yours. I think she's her bestfriend. The one you thought I was.

Alexa.

Her bestfriend was Rose. Are you serious? They were nothing alike honestly and that meant what she was asking...

...was for me to go to their giggling group.

Ivory was not gonna like that.
