Author notes
I feel I need to explain the nicknames.
Rebecca : Natalie (it will be explained later)
Alexa : Aleri (River likes giving their ship names)
Enjoy.
My eyes snapped open.
My bedroom's door was open and the house was completely dark. Another thing that made me a outcast was that I was the only teenager that had a set bedtime. Every night my parents would make sure I was tucked in, my phone was out of reach so I wouldn't read at night (as you can tell I already tried that) and the door was closed so that they could watch TV as loud as they want.
Yep, feels good to be fifteen.
The fact that the door was open and the house was dark meant that they were asleep.
The little moonlight streaming through the badly closed curtains lit my room. My eyes caught my reflection in the mirror.
I always hated my appearance. The way I slept in such a bad way that my hair would always be a mess. Literally I would go to sleep nice and neat and wake up with the blanket walking out the room, my head dangling off the bed and my body diagonal. That and my hair was neither straight or curly. It was in between so that made hairstyles a pain. I guess my face was okay if you find acne attractive. My eyes added to the imperfect picture being the common dark brown. Almost like it was black.
I was average. I was too average. I wasn't special.
I shook my head, grabbed the pills on my desk and cocked back two. I threw my form on the bed and replayed the events of the last few days before passing out.

Ma'am sat down and I immediately turned to talk to Ivory. This was the closest she was on a daily basis to me which is why I liked Economic and Management Sciences.
"What would you like your wedding to be like?" I randomly asked and immediately regretted. I can tell from her expression that she was also taken aback.
"Um, I don't know. I really don't. This is a weird question." She rambled on. People around us were eavesdropping on our conversation and in the back of my head I was wondering why.
"Well think about it. You and I, what would your dream wedding be like?" If I knew how a smirk looked, I imagine I was doing it right now.
She paused and thought about it.
"My family has to come. Like my entire family. My cousins and grandparents." She said, choosing to ignore the 'us' part. "Oh and you have to pay the alcohol bill because there's no way I'll be able to afford that!"
I laughed, glad my nerves were finally easing. Charles raised an eyebrow, trying to figure out what we were talking about.
"I agree with you there! Half the money will have to go to the alcohol because those people will be drunk as hell!" I laughed again, letting the flow of the conversation take over.
"How many children would you want?" She asked me, catching me off guard.
"Enough so the entire village would have to help." She laughed, nodding in agreement.
"That was so cheesy. You say lines like that often, don't you?"
"Never! Everything I say just deserves to be written down." My hand moved on its own, covering hers.
"Our children would look weird as hell." She said.
"But they would be smart as hell too." I countered. She looked at me like I was delusional.
"Your a dumbass. I'm worried that if we have children, they might be as dumb as you."
It was the first time she had said if as if nothing was certain. Before it seemed like every thing was definite, bound to happen and I hoped this meant she felt the same. But with that single word the doubt was creeping back in.
I looked straight in her golden eyes. "Will you go out with me?"
'Your insane, " She squeezed my hand. ", but yeah. I will. "
