vi. All Knowing Aizawa

"I'll tell the Old Hag you got detention for beating someone's ass, she might smack you but I'm proud." The male Bakugou spoke as he was walking out of the classroom. "But next time, you better get a flawless victory!" And with that, he was gone.

"Bakugou, Iida, are you two okay?" Midoriya asked, he and the remaining Dekusquad staying behind. "During that fight... The two of you said some pretty nasty things to each other."

"There wasn't anything nasty about it, we were just being honest." The girl Bakugou answered, stretching her arms above her head.

"We did say some pretty negative things, Bakugou, just because we were honest doesn't mean that what we said wasn't nasty." Iida added.

In all reality, Midoriya, Uraraka, and Asui were worried about the two of them being left alone in a room for a long period of time, which is why they were worried about them being in the Nurse's Office for so long.

Because even if Midoriya and Todoroki knew that the fight itself was a setup, every word they said was how they felt.

"Get on out of here, Uraraka, Asui, Midoriya." Aizawa commanded, the three students doing as their teacher told them.

The teacher proceeded to close and lock the door before sitting on his own desk, facing the two students. "Come on, sit up here in the front, we need to have a talk."

Iida and the girl Bakugou stood from their seats and made their way to the front of the classroom, sitting in the two seats closest to Aizawa's desk.

While the girl Bakugou was quite the delinquent and doesn't always listen to authority, Eraserhead was someone she liked, he was a great teacher and was always very helpful, even if it was in the most unconventional of ways.

"I apologize, Aizawa Sensei. How I acted, especially here on school grounds, was highly inappropriate and-"

"Stop."

Iida and the girl Bakugou blinked, surprised by their teacher cutting him off like that.

"Hosu Police did inform me that you two, alongside Todoroki and Midoriya were the ones who fought Stain, an act that was highly illegal and a mockery to our system."

Iida looked down, his fists gripping onto his pants legs as he knew where this might be going. The girl Bakugou, however, just continued sitting there and listening.

"I am also aware that the Hosu City Chief of Police didn't take any legal action, and that the entire takedown was accredited to Endeavor. For that, I would like to also extend my thanks, yet reinforce how illegal it was, and that you should never do that again, unless you are granted permission or have your Hero Licenses." Letting out an extended sigh, he looked between the two students.

"Now tell me, what was that fight about?"

"I needed an excuse." The girl Bakugou spoke up first, something that surprised Iida. "Katsuki can't know, but we live in the same house, there was absolutely no way for him to not see that scar at some point."

"So you and Iida fake-fought?"

"Well, yes and no." Iida answered. "Todoroki had originally offered her the excuse of telling her brother that they fought, but the two of them are so close that she told him it wouldn't be believable."

"I hate lying to him, Katsuki and I made a promise to one another when we were younger that we'd never lie to each other, so that no matter what happens with other people in the future, we know we at least have each other." The girl continued to explain. "Class Rep offered for us to fight, because it would be believable- which it was."

"And none of it was fake, either, Sensei. Bakugou and I, we've never gotten along, the fight itself was a setup, but everything we told each other, all of it was true." Iida concluded.

"So you offered to ruin your record so she didn't have to completely lie to her brother?"

"Yes."

Aizawa was silent for a moment, absorbing and thinking about all of the information he was just given. They argue all the time, and their personalities conflict just as much- if not more than the other Bakugou and Midoriya's. Yet she went to save him, and he tarnished his record for her sake.

"I want the two of you to turn and face each other."

Iida turned around immediately, facing the girl next to him. The girl was still for a moment, confused as to why he would ask such a thing. Reluctantly, she turned around and faced her classmate.

"What do you want us to do, Sensei?" Iida questioned, also confused as to where this was going.

"I'm going to leave the room. You two Problem Children, I want you to talk to each other, no fighting, no hitting, no exploding. It doesn't have to be about anything specific, I just want you to talk like two normal, civilized people." Sliding off of his desk, Aizawa left the room.

"This is odd." Iida stated. "But seeing as he is our Sensei and this is what he told us to do, we should do as he said. What would you like to talk about?" Iida knew the chances of this being civil was slim, but that didn't mean he wasn't going to try.

"Can't believe he had to specify the exploding..." The girl mumbled to herself, earning a very small laugh from her classmate.

"Hey! What're you laughing at!?"

"It's just, our Sensei knows us very well." Iida answered, adjusting his glasses.

"Back to what you asked, about what we should talk about."

"Do you have a topic in mind?" Iida prompted, looking the girl directly in her eyes.

"Well..." Grabbing the hem of her shirt, the girl began to raise it.

"No! Inappropriate!" Iida swiftly grabbed the hem of her shirt and held it down.

"Pfft- I wasn't actually going to lift my shirt!" The girl began to laugh, a smile on her face from laughing. "Your reaction is just so funny to me."

"That action is highly inappropriate! On top of that, we're in a classroom!"

"Calm down, Class Rep, I wasn't actually gonna do it." She reassured, placing a hand on the boys shoulder and looking him in the eyes. "I wouldn't do that."

Exhaling a shaky breath, Iida met her eyes. "So, what should we discuss?" He didn't bring up the hand she still had placed on his shoulder, he knew better than to do such a thing.

"I don't know." She answered honestly, thinking of a million and one ways to mess with him.

"Tell me something," his expression changed into that of a serious one, his eyes becoming somewhat narrow as he captured her gaze with his. The last time she had seen him with a face this serious was when they fought Stain.

"You came to UA, passed the Entrance Exams, tied second with Todoroki at the Sports Festival, went to save me, but you don't have a hero costume or a hero name. Not only are those requirements for the Hero Course in general, but that's a part of being a hero, being prideful in having your own name, your own look. I know you've been asked before, but you never give a real answer." Iida questioned, his gaze unwavering, something that took the girl by surprise.

"What's it to you?" She retaliated, crossing her arms over her chest.

"As Class President, and what I'd like to assume myself to be, your friend, I was curious." He answered honestly. "However, if you do not want to tell me, don't feel the need to. I don't want to invade your privacy."

The girl Bakugou was silent for a moment, something that took Iida off guard. She has never one to hesitate or have to think about what she was going to say.

"It's none of your business, Class Rep." She finally answered.

"Well, what if, what if I convinced you?" He didn't understand why he said what he said, but he didn't take it back either.

"Hah? Convinced me to make a hero name and costume?" She asked, making sure she was understanding him right.

"Well yes. Not only is it a requirement, but it's an act of pride, too, and you're a rather prideful person." Iida replied, not noticing that he very low-key insulted her.

"Alright, how about we make a deal, Class Rep?"

"For some reason, I'm not so sure I like where this is heading. But please, continue."

"If you can convince me to take more pride in being a hero, to design a costume and come up with a hero name, I'll work on my swearing and attitude towards people." The girl Bakugou offered, Iida listening intensely.

"And if I can't convince you?"

"You have to swear in front of Aizawa Sensei."

"What!? I can't possibly do that! That is highly inappropriate and disrespectful!'

"Class Rep, sweetie, you attempted to kill a man, got in a fake-real fight with me in front of our classmates and teachers, and you're telling me you can't drop a singular swear word in front of Aizawa Sensei, just one mere teacher?" The girl cocked an eyebrow, curious as to his response.

"Well, you have yourself a deal then." He said, holding his hand out, his voice more confident than she expected.

"Oh-ho, you sound rather confident in yourself, Class Rep. Don't get too cocky." She smirked, grabbing ahold of his hand. It was an odd observation to make, but she noted that he really did have big hands, which she supposed made sense considering his build.

"I'm only confident because I know I'll win." He smiled, his grip on the girls smaller hand rather firm. "I'm not the losing or giving in type. I may be strict and a rule follower, but that doesn't mean I'm any less determined, competitive, and strong-willed than the rest of you."

The girl Bakugou's mouth became slightly agape at the boys words, she was both shocked and impressed at his response. "Wow, you just became like, ten percent more attractive."

The boys cheeks flushed red, and as he tried to pull his hand away, her grip stayed firm. "No need to get so flustered, Class Rep." She spoke with a laugh, but a soft laugh where a smile adorned her facial features.

Her smile made Iida smile, despite the reddening of his cheeks. "I don't really understand you, Bakugou." He admitted.

"Oh, is that so?" She asked, raising an eyebrow as she finally released his hand. "Well maybe I can help you understand me a bit more." She lightly cooed, her eyes narrowing as she smirked.

"No! I don't know what thought just went through your head, but no!" He yelled, his right arm moving up and down frantically with his hand pointed towards her— one of his more typical arm movements.

The girl chuckled as she leaned closer to him, intentionally trying to fluster him even more.

Of course, Iida leaned backwards in his chair, trying to further himself from the girl Bakugou. Both kept leaning in their own directions, until the girl leaned too far.

Her eyes widened as she felt her body hit Iida's, and Iida, already being leaned back, hit the ground from the impact of her body weight. Instinctively, the boy placed a hand on the back of her head and held it to his chest while wrapping his other arm around her torso, as to insure she receives as least amount of damage possible.

"Are you alright, Bakugou!?" He asked worriedly, looking to the girl atop him.

"Yeah, I'm fine Class Rep." She answered, a bit of surprise to her voice. "You're the one who fell on your back, is your head alright?" She asked, neither yet moving. It hadn't quite clicked in her head yet the way he had, and was, holding her.

"I'm perfectly fine, Bakugou!" He reassured, ignoring the heat he could feel rising to his cheeks. She had always been extremely good at making him flustered, and he knew that half the time she did it on purpose.

"Alright you two, you can go home." Aizawa stated, walking in and seeing the sight of the girl Bakugou laying atop Iida, who had a hand placed on the back of her head and an arm wrapped around her torso while her head was pressed to his chest, her arms on the ground beneath Iida's sides.

Both students were expecting some smart remark from their teacher, something about how they must've been doing something inappropriate or tell them to move.

But Aizawa knew them both too well to know that that's not what they were doing.

Besides, he was listening to them the entire time.
