Astronomy class was already exceptionally boring; much like it had been in high school and believe it or not, I was beginning to miss Mr. Hamilton.

At the moment we were all waiting on our professor to show up, so that just left the lot of us in our own conversations. I sat beside Sam who sat beside Leo along with Sharsky and Fassbinder. Behind me sat Lexy and her slut friend Alice.

I just doodled in my notebook as I listened to everyone's conversations. Leo was tripping over what happened last night with Alice and I, while Lexy and Alice were speaking to each other in some sort of strange code. It didn't register with me so I ignored it.

After about five more minutes of sitting, our professor had finally made an appearance. He looked rather young but not that young. He had light brown hair with a scruffy face. Large framed glasses were resting on his face and to say I was impressed with his appearance would be an understatement.

He tossed his hat onto his podium before turning to our class. By now everyone's conversations had ceased and all attention was on the professor.

"Space, time, gravity."

He took a bite of his apple before dropping it to the floor. It bounced off of his shoe and rolled to one of the girls in the front row. She picked it up and muttered a thank you. "Finish that for me," he told her.

I made a face and Sam laughed beside me.

"We're going on a journey together, you and I. All you eager, new vial young minds on the very cusp of adulthood," the professor started again. The class laughed but I hadn't a clue as to what for.

"I shall be your consort, your guide, your chaperone into the heart of darkness."

I briefly turned my attention away from the professor to see Sam spazzing out, much like he did last night at the frat house. He opened up his astronomy book and began flipping through the pages, repeatedly elbowing me in the process. After about thirty seconds he slammed the book shut and shoved it off of his desk before throwing his hand up in the air.

"Put your hand down," Leo instructed him.

"Sam, put your hand down. Put your hand down," I retorted.

He ignored the both of us and the professor stopped his lesson to look at Sam.

"Young man, there are no questions until I have reached the climax of my lecture," he said.

Sam stood up, all eyes were now on him.

"I just finished your book and there's only one way to plot my science wrong," Sam babbled. He shoved past me and made his way up to the professor's platform. After grabbing a piece of chalk he began drawing strange symbols on the board before turning back to the class. He was speaking at such a fast pace that I couldn't make out what he was saying. I just stared at the boy in horror as he spazzed out.

It was almost as if something clicked in his brain and he calmed himself down ever so quickly. The professor, however, was rather displeased with Sam's actions.

"Young man, I won't be punked in front of the dean." Our professor walked over and got in Sam's face. "No. This is my universe here. Do you understand? I am the alpha and the omega. Get out of my class," he countered.

Sam sighed before quickly scurrying out of the classroom.

"Anyone else care to have some sort of mental breakdown?" the professor baited.

I just sighed and began doodling in my notebook again. He continued his lesson, but I wasn't concerned at all. I was far more worried about my friend's well-being and state of mind.

It felt like hours had passed before we were dismissed from class. I hurried out of the class and headed back to my dorm room to change clothes before checking on Sam. I was still wearing my clothes from last night considering I had woken up too late to change my clothes for class.

I walked over to my closet and picked out a plain grey top, my black leather jacket, a pair of blue jeans and my black boots. As I went to leave the room, the door burst open. I jumped back but calmed myself when I noticed it was Lexy.

"Goodness, you scared me."

She laughed and walked over to her bed. "I apologize. You look nice. Heading to a party?" she asked.

"Not quite. I just thought I would go check on Sam real quick," I told her.

"He's quite a peculiar boy," she chuckled.

I smiled. "Yeah he is. But I'll be back in a little bit," I informed her.

I made a move to head out the door but before I could, it slammed shut. There was a hand on the door but what startled me was the long metallic limb that stretched back from the door and over to the bed where Lexy sat, an evil smirk plastered on her face. I took a step back.

"I'm afraid I can't let you leave though," she said.

"I'm sorry. What?" My eyes widened as her skin dissolved into a layer of metal. A human sized robot with bright blue optics had now taken the place of my roommate. Perhaps this was what Ironhide had been talking about when he informed me of his indifference towards her.

Just fucking great.

I cursed when she lunged at me but I quickly moved out of the way. She stood in front of me, her optics burning into my eyes. Had she been bigger, I would've been particularly frightened but this thing was barely the size of me. I could take her easily.

She lunged for me again and I tackled her to the ground. She struggled under my grip but she was a lot stronger than me. With one quick movement of her hand, I was flying against the wall. I landed roughly on my roommate's bed and growled, ignoring the pain in my spine. The bot was now back on its feet and I was just getting angry.

She threw a punch at me but I was too fast. I grabbed the limb and bent it backwards. I listened as metal cracked and circuits ripped, causing the bot to cry out in pain. In a swift movement, I ripped off the limb and tossed it across the room before moving my arms around the base of her helm.

She fought me, but without her extra limb, her actions were rendered useless against my skills. I twisted the head as far as I could get it before ripping it off. I breathed a sigh of relief and tiredness before throwing the head across the room.

That had been fairly easy yet difficult at the same time. Metal was a lot stronger than I had thought it to be and had I not been training all my life I probably wouldn't have been able to severe her limbs as I just had.

Suddenly, I remembered Sam. I jumped up from the floor and headed for the door, only to be stopped by the sound of my phone ringing. I cursed under my breath but ran over to my bed to retrieve the device. Without bothering to pay attention to the caller ID, I answered it.

"Hello," I breathed out.

"Azalea, are you okay? Why are you breathing so heavily?" Ironhide's voice sounded.

Shit.

"Um, I'm fine." All of a sudden a loud crash sounded across the hall followed by what appeared to be a gunshot. I jumped, startled by the noise.

"Azalea, what was that?" Hide asked. I could hear his engine in the background. Another loud crash sounded.

"Listen. I can't talk right now. I have to go. I love you. Bye."

He started to speak but I hung up and threw my phone on the bed before running out of my bedroom and across the hall. I opened up Sam's door to see him laying on the ground, staring up at Alice. Behind me a girl stood. I recognized her as Mikaela.

"Sam, your bed buddy Alice-" Leo started, but stopped when he saw the long metallic tongue retract from Sam's neck and back into Alice's mouth.

Sam began screaming as Alice's face transformed, just as Lexy's had.

"Oh my gosh," I exclaimed.

Mikaela glanced at me before throwing the metal box she had in her hands towards Alice. She dodged it with ease and the box burst through the window. I grabbed a screaming Sam by the arms and pulled him up before heading out of the room. Sam slammed the door shut and the four of us began running down the hallway before exiting the building.

"What the hell was that?" Leo asked as we ran up the library steps.

"She's an alien robot. Just go," I told him as I pushed him up the stairs.

He nearly tripped. "Seriously?"

"Yes. Just go," I exclaimed as we ran into the library.

We hid underneath a banister in hopes that the evil queen wouldn't find us. I sat down beside Sam on one side while Mikaela sat with Leo on the other side.

"Oh my god, oh my god. I can't believe I almost had sex with her in my dream," Leo whispered. I rolled my eyes and Mikaela turned to look at Sam.

"I can tell that you really miss me a lot Sam," she remarked.

He immediately became defensive. "Look, it's not my fault. I am a victim. A victim," Sam babbled.

"A victim? Of what? A little eighty pound girl? And who is that?" Mikaela asked him as she pointed to me.

"I'm Azalea. You can trust me. Sam's like a brother. I am not a threat to you or your relationship. I have my own to worry about," I told her. She seemed to relax at that.

"Man, it was like getting humped in the neck by a mountain ox," Sam said. I snorted.

"You didn't have to put your tongue in her mouth," Mikaela scolded.

"I didn't!"

"You did!"

"Look, have you ever gotten your stomach tongued by a mountain ox with a five foot tongue? It's not fun for me. Okay, Mikaela? And it smelled like diesel; like a diesely tinge to it," Sam countered.

Mikaela gave him a look. "You're such a little girl."

Their argument was becoming quite funny but now was not the time for laughter.

"We're going to have ten seconds of silence right now. I'm not talking to you for ten seconds," Sam said.

"You're so immature," I remarked. He just held a finger up to his lips and I rolled my eyes.

"You can't give me the silent treatment! You know what-"

Sam cut Mikaela off. "I'm not talking to you for ten seconds. You have three seconds left," Sam whispered. He began counting down on his fingers.

"You can give me the silent treatment all you want but you can't get me for talking," Mikaela stated.

Sam finished his countdown. "What were you going to say?"

"I hope you had your fun because this is over!" Mikaela told him.

I frowned and Leo began babbling to Sam who had quite a sickly look on his face.

"Shut up, Leo!" I demanded. He ignored me though and then suddenly Sam vomited. I jumped back before any of it could get on me.

"Who are you?" Mikaela asked him. I was now rubbing Sam's back comfortingly.

"I'm Leo Spitz. I'm the key to this. The aliens want me because of my site."

Before I could respond to his bull shit claim, there was a loud explosion. The wall behind us sent debris flying in our direction. Sam grabbed my hand and pulled me up before he stepped over the banister and jumped onto the hanging light fixture. I jumped onto the light with him while Mikaela clung to a book ladder and Leo held onto the banister.

Another explosion sounded. The light fixture was detached from the ceiling which sent Sam and I to the ground. I groaned in pain as I hit the floor but I quickly retaliated. Sam pulled me up and began running before he pulled me under a table with him.

"Mikaela!" he yelled.

There was another explosion. Books went flying everywhere and I covered my head with my hands. Mikaela and Leo made their way underneath our table. Sam grabbed both mine and Mikaela's hands before pulling us out from under the table. Leo followed us as we ran to the wall.

"Oh no. What are we supposed to do now?" I asked.

I did not feel like dying at the hands of this metallic bitch or any metallic bitch for that matter.

Before anyone could answer my question, there was a hole being blown into the wall beside us.

"Well that works," Mikaela exclaimed.

Sam pulled the both of us out of the building and into a corridor. We ran for a little bit before coming to the parking lot.

"You have to get that box," Mikaela said.

Sam let go of us and ran off. Leo and I followed Mikaela over to a silver car. She opened the driver's side door and got in quickly. I got in the back with Leo and Sam got into the front with Mikaela, a box in his hand. He handed it to Leo and I raised my eyebrows at the sound of a little voice inside it.

"Oh my gosh. You know how to hot wire a car? That's so hot," Leo exclaimed as Mikaela messed with the car wires.

I looked out the windshield to see Alice walking towards us. "Mikaela, you need to drive. She's right there!" I exclaimed. Mikaela was still fiddling with the wires.

"She's coming!" Sam yelled.

Alice transformed and jumped onto the hood, puncturing the glass with her tongue and shattering Sam's window. The car started and soon we were pulling out of the parking lot.

"Drive, drive, drive!"

Sam fought with the bot as Mikaela drove down the street. It wasn't long before Mikaela drove into a lamp post. I felt a sense of relief go through my body as I watched the evil bot offline. Mikaela backed up and started off down the road again. Leo jumped up in his seat.

"Okay. So what else don't I know since you guys forgot to mention some minor details?" he exclaimed.

I sighed. "Look. You haven't seen anything yet. That was just a little baby one," I assured him.

"How do you know about them?" Mikaela asked.

"My dad just so happens to be Major Lennox, believe it or not."

"Woah," Sam yelled. A helicopter was lowering on the freeway. Mikaela slammed on the brakes and the car spun around. I let out a scream as a hook burst through the ceiling of the car and attached itself. We immediately began rising, only for another car to run into the side of ours. The car spun once more and Sam's door swung open, sending him sliding out of the car.

"Sam!" Mikaela and I yelled. He held on tightly to the door. If he were to fall, there would be no way for him to survive. We were already too high in the air but thankfully we managed to pull him back into the car and clamp the door shut.

I sat back in my seat in an attempt to calm myself down but it was short lived when I heard a sudden snap. We were now plummeting at least three hundred feet into some sort of warehouse. I held on tightly to Mikaela's seat as we fell. I lurched forward in my seat as we hit the ground, thankfully not hurting myself. I let out a sigh thinking that it was now over but a piercing loud scream escaped my mouth as an oversized saw rolled past my face.
