Confrontation

The closer and closer I came to my destination, the angrier I became. All I wanted was to get to Galloway and slam his fat little head into a concrete wall as well as the little puppet guards he had working for him; those guards had made a grave mistake when they chose to help him carry out his little scheme and today they too would learn.

To me, the ride here had seemed like it had taken seven hours though it had only taken me about two hours and fifteen minutes instead of the regular three hours it normally takes to travel to Washington D.C. It was awful though because my sickness had managed to resurface again. Aside from that, the ride here was silent as Adalyn was far too focused on trying to not to fly through the windshield. Obviously my driving had been pretty reckless but I didn't particularly care too much. I was way too focused on my destination to care about anything else.

My impatience was growing by the minute though. Washington D.C. traffic was absolutely crazy. I only had about five miles left until I arrived but here I was stuck behind some dumb broad who didn't know the difference between the colors red and green. It was truly an aggravating situation.

"What exactly are you going to do once you arrive at your so-called destination?" Adalyn asked from the passenger's seat.

I smirked and pressed my foot on the accelerator as the person in front of me finally decided to stop being an incompetent cunt bag.

"I plan on walking right in. But first I have to get past the security gates. It shouldn't be that hard though. It all depends on who's working them," I answered her; my throat burned.

"You really do scare me; well right now you do anyway."

I chuckled dryly. "Don't be scared of me. Like I told Sam, you're not the one I intend to hurt," I assured her.

"But you do intend to hurt someone right?"

I nodded. "Yes; someone who deserves to be hurt. Did I not tell you that in my free time I enjoyed fighting?"

"You did. Sam also said you were very dangerous but I wasn't made aware of that until today. I wouldn't picture you as someone who was capable of doing something like you're planning to do," she said.

I smiled at her. "Never judge a book by its cover, Ada."

She just sighed and sat back in her seat. I could feel the anger in me rise again when I drove across the bridge. The words "Department of Health and Human Services" were displayed in big white letter on the side of the brick structure. It had been years since I had been to this base; I was a little surprised I still knew where it was.

I took a sharp left turn and entered through to the security gates. I rolled my window down almost instantly and was met with the face of one of my dad's soldiers. I gave him a warm smile.

"Hey Steve." He had a confused look on his face, obviously surprised that I was here right now.

"Azalea. What are you doing here?" he asked me.

"To see Galloway," I sneezed.

"I can't let you in. We've been given orders," he stated. I rolled my eyes and grabbed the envelope off of the dashboard. I took the letter out and unfolded it before handing it to him.

"Fourth paragraph down. Check the signature," I told him.

He gave me a look before looking at the letter. His eyes widened ever so slightly and he handed the slip of paper back to me. I smiled happily and clutched the paper tightly in my hand.

"You're good to go, I guess," he said as he backed away from the car.

"Please don't tell my dad that I'm here. He'll find out sooner or later," I told him as I began driving through the gates.

"This place is huge," Adalyn exclaimed.

I chuckled. "It's much bigger on the inside."

I whipped the car around and parked it directly beside one of the NEST vehicles. I turned the car off and took the keys out of the ignition before stepping out into the cold Washington air. I shoved my hands into my jacket pocket and shut the door behind me before looking towards the hangar entrance, squeezing the piece of paper in my hand. Soon enough, Adalyn was beside me.

"Are you going to do this or are you just going to stand there?" she inquired.

I just looked at her before I began walking. My heels sounded loudly as I headed towards the side entrance door. I stopped at the door and turned to Adalyn.

"Just be prepared for everything you're about to see in here. For your own safety I need you to stay by the door, okay?"

She nodded and I turned back to the door. I pushed it open and made my way into the small corridor. The two of us walked until we came to an even larger door otherwise known as the main hangar entrance door. I shoved it open and immediately became aware of all of the noise around me but I ignored it all and gave Adalyn a quick nod before I continued on.

I was more than aware of all of the eyes on me as I walked into the hangar, Autobot and human alike. There was a feeling of immediate relief now that I was back in the presence of the Autobots but I was far more focused on the issue at hand. I heard a few people muttering my name as well as an outburst from a certain pair of twins. I just smirked and took a few more steps forward so that I was now in full view of everyone and every bot in the hangar and I was more than aware of a certain weapon specialist's optics on me.

"Would someone care to tell me where Theodore Galloway is?" I called, ignoring the pain in my throat. I sneezed into my arm.

"Oh shit," I heard my dad say. I heard footsteps behind me and I turned around to see my dad running towards me. I smiled at him.

"Hey, dad. It's so good to see you. It's been a lonely three months, don't you think?" I looked around at the base. "By the way, I love what you guys have done to the place. It's so nice," I smirked.

"What are you doing here?" he seethed.

I chuckled. "I'm here to see my good friend Galloway. Care to tell me where he is?" I asked him.

"You know he will throw you in jail if he or any of his guards see you here," he told me.

"Let them try. I can assure you they won't get very far," I told him, my tone nothing but serious.

He sighed and opened up his mouth to say something but was cut off by the sound of a very familiar and very annoying voice; a voice that sent so much more anger coursing through my body.

"Lennox! What the hell are you doing here?" he yelled.

I took a deep breath and slowly turned around to meet the face of the man that had tried to take my life away from me. I began walking towards him at a brisk pace and as I approached him, I grabbed a hold of his jacket and very roughly shoved him into one of the metal posts used to help support the overhead runway. He winced in pain and I growled.

"Lea!" my dad yelled. I just ignored him and focused on Galloway.

"You son of a bitch," I spat.

He looked rather frightened but it quickly diminished. I heard footsteps and clanking behind me and out of the corner of my eye I noticed one of his guards standing there, a large machine gun in hand. There was no doubt he had friends with him. I just chuckled.

"You really think your little group of men is going to stop me from what I have to do?"

Galloway gave his head a slight nod and out of the corner of my eye I saw the same guard take a step towards me. I turned my head to look at him.

"Do not touch me. If you so much as even make another gesture towards me, I will break your fucking arm. I'm seriously in no mood for this shit. Don't test me," I warned.

He didn't listen and instead made another move to grab me. I let go of Galloway and grabbed the strange man's arm before it could come into contact with me. I twisted his arm quickly and pulled it behind his back before delivering a blow to the base of his elbow with the palm of my hand. A loud snap could be heard followed by the guard's pained cries and several gasps. I grabbed him up by the collar of his shirt and looked him in the eye.

"I warned you," I simply stated before throwing him to the ground.

I turned to Galloway's other guards who all stared at me dumbfounded. They didn't even know what to think of a nineteen year old girl defeating a trained military soldier. Unbeknownst to them, I was trained as well.

"Azalea Lennox!" my dad called again.

I shot him a look.

"You leave me alone. I know what I'm doing," I spat before turning back to the guards. "You think that just because I'm a little nineteen year old girl it means I'm weak and can't defend myself? Well you're mistaken. I've spent my entire life fighting with my dad and Epps, as well as Ironhide. Plus, I'm very angry at the moment so I'd say you're clearly outmatched. Unless you three would care to join your friend, I suggest you leave me to attend to my business."

They didn't respond. They only walked away and I laughed. Three grown military soldiers scared of a nineteen year old girl. .I never thought I'd see the day.

I turned back to Galloway who had an incredibly frightened look on his face. I smirked and approached him again.

"You and I have something to talk about." I quickly took the letter from the president out of my pocket and held it up to him. "Care to tell me what this is?" I snapped.

He shook his head and I heard footsteps behind me. "No. What is it?" he stuttered.

"A letter from the president. Addressed to me to inform me that he had no part in your little plot to ruin my life. You had no legalized authority to annul mine, Sam's, and Mikaela's clearance and this document states that and it also states that the three of us now have the authorized clearance needed to be involved with the Autobots," I told him.

His eyes were wide and I laughed. "I don't know what on earth you're talking about," he said.

I growled and shoved him into the post again, this time much harder than I had the first time.

"Don't give me that shit! The past three months of my life have been nothing but shit because of you and I will never be able to get those months back. You took me away from my family and my lover just to prove to me how powerful your authority was. You didn't like the fact that a nineteen year old girl told you off in front of all of your soldiers so you decided that you needed to come up with a way to get back at that smart mouthed little girl and you did that by taking away everything that ever mattered to her," I croaked out.

My voice was becoming weaker and weaker and sooner or later it would be gone altogether.

"I might would be able to take you seriously if you didn't sound like a horse," he chuckled, an evil little smirk on his face.

I growled and grabbed his face in my right hand, cupping his chin and squeezing his jawline as hard as I could manage but not so hard that I would break the bones, though I really wanted to.

"Don't bait me! I swear if you so much as make another remark I will literally crush your mandible. All I need to do is apply just a little more pressure," I seethed.

He whimpered and I let him go. "I'm sorry, Azalea."

I scoffed which also resulted in a loud cough escaping my mouth.

"You're sorry? Do you really think I care? Three months Galloway. I spent three months alone; I spent three months away from the one that I loved just so you could get your pride back. I hope you had a pride-filled three months because I'm here to tell you that you've just lost it. How does it feel to be beaten by a sick nineteen year old girl?"

I coughed in his face and he gagged.

"You're heartless and you deserve the absolute worst to happen to you. I wouldn't be surprised if in the next few hours you received a call from President Obama telling you to get a new job," I whispered, my voice almost gone.

His face fell.

"Don't you dare ever underestimate me again. Have a nice nap, Galloway."

He looked confused for a moment but his eyes widened as I gripped a handful of his hair. Before he even had the chance to react, his head hit the metal pole with a loud clank and the next thing I knew I was dropping him to the floor.

After seeing his unconscious body lying on the ground, a dozen different emotions flooded through my body, overwhelming me with more than I could handle at one time. It was almost as if every single emotion I had been feeling and hiding for the past three months was trying to force their way up, only this time it was actually working. My sickness was mixing with this emotional overdrive and it was making me feel a lot worse than it had before I left for Washington.

I placed my hands on the post in front of me to help steady myself and I looked down to the floor. I was more than aware of the commotion going on around but I couldn't help but ignore it. The only thing I was focused on was the tears that were now coming out of my eyes. I let out a loud sob and leaned against the post.

I felt a hand on my arm and jumped back, slightly startled by the small gesture. I took a deep breath and tried to calm my tears before turning around to face the stranger who I assumed to be my father. Quickly, I wiped my eyes and turned around only to stop at the sight of Ironhide's lesser form. This caused the tears to flow faster and without hesitating, I ran into his arms, holding on to him for dear life.

He held me tightly as I cried into his shirt, even delivering a soft kiss to the top of my head. I squeezed him as hard as I could. It had been three months since I had seen him or felt his touch and being in his arms right now made me forget just how terribly I had missed him.

"I've missed you so much," I croaked out.

I coughed into his shirt and he chuckled before pulling me away from him. He placed his hands on either side of my face and wiped my tears away. I smiled and leaned into his touch. He leaned down and placed a kiss onto my lips before hugging me again. I let out a sigh of relief but ended up sneezing into his shirt causing him to laugh again. I had missed the sound so much.

"Why aren't you saying anything to me? I've heard everything but your voice." My voice came out a whisper.

"I was attempting to keep you from talking seeing as you're sick but it doesn't seem to be working very well," he answered me. I smiled. This was all I had been waiting for for the past three months.

"That's much better," I responded hoarsely. He laughed and pulled away from me.

"Keep your mouth shut," he instructed me.

I opened my mouth up just to bait him and he rolled his eyes at me.

"Still the same obnoxious little girl," he claimed.

I just giggled and opened my mouth to speak again but he covered it up with his hand before I got the chance to say what I wanted to.

"And before you get the chance you damage your vocal processors even more, you are the obnoxious little girl that I love, Azalea."

I smiled. In this very moment I could feel nothing but complete happiness and joy. All of my other emotions had long surpassed when I first laid my eyes on him and I felt so much better, aside from the sickness part of course, but it didn't phase me as much as it should have. I was now back with the one that I loved and nothing else in the world mattered to me.

*Please vote and comment. It'd mean so much to me. I wanna know what you guys think.*
