"Alright, Miss Yvonne your seat is in row 26, seat E," said the assistant while looking up to the girl. "I hope you have a relaxed and enjoyable flight."

"Thank you," mumbles the honey blond haired girl as she walked towards her seat. "Come on, Lady." The honey blond girl called her most loyal friend.

The Norwegian Elkhound dog is only a few years old, the real age the Honey-blond haired girl doesn't know. When she found the dog as a puppy abandoned and wounded on the street, while it was raining. She decided to take the dog to the vet.
After the dog was treated for its wounds.

" The dog is now fully treated, it takes a while till her wounds are healed, but it won't be an issue." The vet exclaimed.

"That's great news," said the honey blond haired girl, while petting the little pup. As she looked up at the vet, she noticed the frown on his face." Is there a problem?" The girl asked.

" We don't have enough room for this little one. We are already full also it wouldn't be healthy for her to be with other dogs in a small space while healing," said the vet. " is there any chance that you could take the pup with you?" The vet asked.

"Me?" The girl questions.

The vet nodded. " She seems to like you," the vet gesture towards them. "also it would be better for us and for her, what do you think?" The vet asked.

The girl looked at the little pup, who's paw and ear is in the bandage as well licking her hand. The girl giggles and smiled at the pup. She picked the pub up.

"Would you like to come with me?" The girl asked as the response she got a lick on her nose and a bark from the cute little dog. " it sounds like a yes," The girl exclaimed as she picked the pup in her arms and turned towards the vet. "I'll take her"

That decision was one of the best she ever made. Because dogs have a way of finding the people who need them and filling the emptiness they didn't know they had. She was isolated in her lonely state, making her go into a depression. Lady was throughout the years not just her dog, but also her companion, friend, protector, playmate and life-changer.

Lady took a seat on her owner's lap as she has taken hers. The girl scratches Lady between the ears as she happily barked at her. Lady made herself comfortable on her lap and soon is fast asleep. While the girl was looking out of the window a man middle his forties approached her.

"Hè blondie, can I sit here?" asked the man. The girl directed her head towards the man. The man is bold, he wears a pair of glasses and sweaty T-shirt, green shorts, and flippers on his feet. The man was making himself "comfortable" by scratching his belly button and with the another hand he is poking his nose with. It was a pretty disgusting sight. Also with the smell that was around him. 'Eww....gross'

"I'm so-"

"Thanks" the man interrupted her. And took a seat next to her.

"Bu-"

"Bye, the way my name is Galloway, Earl Galloway." The man exclaimed, again interrupting her. Earl pulled his hand from his belly button and took his hand out in front of the girl. The girl looked at the hand only to find a disgusting, little 'thingy' at the tips of his fingers. Honestly, it almost makes her barf.

"My name is Serena, " the girl exclaimed, she didn't shake his hand, for obvious reasons, who wouldn't? Earl took his hand back.

"Well, Serena," Earl started as he picked his headphone from his backpack. "be quiet because I want to sleep and I don't want to be interrupted. Got it." Earl stated as he pointed his finger close towards Serena's face. She held the urge to slap that nasty finger from her face, but he already took it down. And put his headphones on.

"Rude" Serena mumbled.

'At least it's quiet, I might as well take a nap too,' Serena thought as she closed her eyes and sighed.

" GRRR~" Serena snapped her eyes open and looked beside her, only to see Earl snoring loudly. Serena sighed.

'Talked too soon. This going to be a long flight.' Serena thought as she looked out of the window. Seeing the sunset.

After a couple minutes of tossing and turning, she managed to fall asleep. Of course without trying to wake up Lady.

Flashback 7 years ago. 

No POV

"Hey, Serena!'' a 12-year-old raven-haired boy called out as he runs towards the 12-year-old girl. 

He has raven hair, light brown skin color and auburn brown eyes. He wears a blue collared shirt with short sleeves, darker blue jeans, red and white hat and red high top sneakers. As he stood in front of the girl. 

"Are you ready?" questioned the raven-haired boy. "We're going back on the road"

"Yeah, I'm almost finished, Ash" The girl called Serena exclaimed.

Serena has short honey-blond hair, pale, white skin color, and sapphire eyes. She wears a reddish-pink fedora, a bright pink dress with a white collar, her gray top underneath, and a red waistcoat with a blue ribbon on her chest, black stockings, and brown boots.

Serena bit her lip, as she was working on something special. Ash walks towards her.

"What are you actually doing?" Ash asked as he tried to peek at what Serena was doing. Unfortunately for Ash, Serena noticed from the corner of her eye, what Ash was trying to do so she shuffled further away from him.

"Oh, come on Serena, what are you doing?" Ash whined.

"Not going to tell you. How many times do I have to tell you that it is a surprise?" Serena said as she turned around to face Ash while making sure to block the view of the surprise. "A surprise is a surprise," she stated.

"Aww, I want to see it now," Ash complained as he pouted and crossed his arms.

"You're such a little kid, you know that right, Ash?" Serena stated as she crossed her arms and shook her head.

"Don't blame me, you have been working on your little surprise since forever," Ash stated as he throws his arms up in the air in frustration. "I can't wait forever."

Serena rolled her eyes on his childlike behavior." You are exaggerating, Ash," Serena said, "Also, I'm almost done."

"Really?!" Ash exclaimed hopefully.

"Yeah, I'm almost done go get Bonnie and Clemont already," Serena said as she swatted Ash away with her hands.

"Alright, alright I'm not a dog," Ash complained as he walked towards the door.

"Why are you doing what I tell you then?" Serena questioned as she smirked.

"I'm doing it on mine own will," Ash stated as he turned to face Serena.

"Sure~" Serena exclaimed amused.

Ash gritted his teeth in annoyance as he couldn't make a comeback on Serena. So he only glared at her. Serena walked over towards the door where Ash was leaning against.

"I'm not scared of you," Serena stated."Also, hurry up and get Bonnie and Clemont, I don't have time to talk to you I have to finish this."

"You-"

"GO!" Serena screamed as she pushed Ash away from the door into the hallway and closed the door. Serena put her ear against the door and could faintly hear Ash.

"You don't own me," Ash mumbled as he walked away.

Serena sighed out of relieving as she leaned against the door. Her heart was pounding, obviously because of being with Ash. Everybody knows already that she has a huge crush on her dense childhood friend. Except for the dense boy himself. Even that this chat wasn't a big deal, every time Ash comes close to her, it happens and she can't help it. 

Serena pushed herself from the door and walked towards her desk, where the little surprises lay for her friends, she sat down and looked at it to see if there were any mistakes. So far none.

"BOO!" an unknown person screamed.

Serena let out a high pitched yelp as she jumped in her seat and leaned backward. This causes the seat to go unbalanced and fall backward with Serena on it. She shut her eyes tight preparing the impact to the ground.

But it never came. Waiting a few seconds before opening one eye and then the other. She was staring at auburn brown eyes, showed with worry and amusement. Taking a few moments to realize what happened. It seems to be that the person who scared her is the one and only Ash Ketchum. As Ash straightened Serena's position. Serena turned around to face Ash while glaring at him.

"WHAT THE HECK, ASH!?" Serena exclaimed,"YOU ALMOST SCARED THE LIVING DAYLIGHT OUT OF ME!"

As Serena stares at Ash with the most deathliest glare she can give. She could hear snickers from the other side. Looking that way she could see Clemont and Bonnie both muffling their laughter with their hands as they looked at us.

She turned her head towards Ash as he was trying his hardest not to laugh, looking up staring at the ceiling. At this point, Serena was steaming with anger.

"DON'T YOU DARE TO LAUGH AT ME, ASH KETCHUM!" Serena stated.

Ash took one glance at Serena and burst out with laughter. Serena became furious and walked over toward Ash standing face to face with her arm lifted. Ash opened his eyes and immediately backed away giving a tiny squeak.

"Ahh.."Ash said,"D-don't hurt me, Serena, it was just a joke."

At this Serena lowered her arm and stared at Ash a few seconds before bursting out with laughter. Ash stared at her confused as she continued laughing holding her stomach in the process.

"Oh g-god, s-someone h-help me, p-please." Serena pleaded between laughs.

"What's so funny?" Ash questioned as he crossed his arm and stared at Serena. While Serena was trying to recover from her laughter, she looked up at Ash. Whipping away the tears that have formed in the corner of her eye and taking a deep breath.

"I-i, yo-you" Serena stuttered.

"Come on spit it out!"Ash exclaimed as he lost his patient. Tapping his foot against the ground.

"I just can't b-believe, I can let the great Ash Ketchum, squeak like a little, scared girl" Serena explained.

Ash blushes from embarrassment as Serena continued laughing."I-I uhh...I" Ash stuttered."J-Just l-let's continue why I brought Clemont and Bonnie here."

At this, the blond-haired siblings step forward, a 14-year-old boy with pale skin and medium length bright yellowish messy hair that appears somewhat electrified with a lightning-bolt shaped tuft of hair sprouting from the top of his head. He wears large round glasses which obscure his blue eyes, and a blue jumpsuit with a yellow collar, and yellow stripes on the knees and bottom cuffs. On his feet, he wears black shoes with white soles.

Next to Clemont is a small and slender 9-year-old girl with shiny golden blonde hair tied in a side ponytail with an orange band and sky blue eyes. She wears a brown short-sleeved top with a soft black bow on the neckline, knee length black leggings covered by a puffy white skirt resembling a cloud, some pink colored Mary-Jane shoes on her feet and a yellow shoulder bag.

"Your fights are really fun to watch." Clemont chuckled.

Both Serena and Ash huffed at Clemont's statement.

"Yeah, you both look like a fighting couple," Bonnie smirked.

Now the reaction from Serena is obvious, blushing like mad as that from Ash was quite shocking. He is looking at Bonnie wide-eyed while blushing a little. Dammit, Bonnie.

"BONNIE!" Clemont shouted.

"Uhm" both Serena and Ash exclaimed. Ash leaned closer towards Serena's ear.

"Serena, surprise," Ash whispered from the corner of his mouth.

"Oh yeah, I wanted all of you to give you these," Serena said as she grabs the three small boxes and gives them to the others. She gives the yellow one to Clemont, the blue one to Ash and the pink one to Bonnie. "Now before you open them up, especially Ash you're last."

"What why?" Ash said surprised.

"What do you think?" Serena said obviously as she rolled her eyes.

Ash groans.

"Now as you all know I've been working on this surprises for a while because I wanted to thank you all," Serena explained.

"Now before anyone says something, let me finish," Serena said as she closes her eyes and took a deep breath.

"I wanted to thank you for being my friends, not just friends but my best friends. For standing by my side, for supporting me on my dream to become a masterclass dancer." Serena says as she opens her eyes."I want to thank you for believing in me, making me happy, backing me up when needed. And thank you for accepting my craziness" Serena chuckled as the others do too.

"Thank you for accepting my flaws and mistakes that make me who I am," Serena continued. "Thank you for being my family" Serena finished smiling widely.

Everyone smiles as they embrace each other in a big hug. Standing there before breaking a part of the embrace.

Serena takes a huge breath.

"Well, who of you want to go first?"
