Chapter 6
~~~Shake it off~~~
Serena POV.
I slowly opened my eyes. The sunlight bathed my skin as I lay on my side. I tried closing my eyes. What had happened yesterday was something I didn't want to deal with today. But my mind wouldn't let me go back to sleep. I sighed and sat up, stretching my body.
I grabbed my phone on the small table next to the bed, I yawned as I rubbed the sleep from my eyes. 1 PM, I sighed. Probably the jetlag hit me, the girls are (I suppose) awake too.
I grab the blanket and toss it to the side, swinging my feet to the side of the bed. Something was off, I could hear muffled sounds from somewhere, I stood up and slumped my way to the bathroom. When I finished, I walked over to my bag, my stuff from England hasn't arrived till tomorrow, so I had to wear a simple light gray sweater, saying ''Not Today', I pulled it on, the sweater was going to my knees and the sleeves were too long, but I liked it, I could snuggle with it on my lazy days, sitting in front of the television with a cup of chocolate in my hands. Ohh, that's nice.
My hair was just in a messy bun, I didn't have the strength to make it in something different, or I was just too lazy. Probably the second.
I opened the door and walked to the stairs, I walked down, each step the sounds became clearer, is that music? When I finally reach the end, I turned around following the music, It's from the kitchen.
I walked till I stood in front off the entrance and then something hit me on my forehead, it was juicy and it smelled sweet, I blinked Dawn and White were in the kitchen, the counter filled with food and other things. Did they do the groceries?
Both of them were frozen in place, Dawn was in front of me holding a bucket of ice cream? White was on the other side of the holding a plastic box with strawberries.
I whipped my forehead seeing a red liquid in my hands. Strawberry juice.
"What's going on here?" I asked as I rubbed the strawberry juice from my face.
"Serena, we a-"
"It was her fault," Dawn said quickly as she pointed at White.
White raised an eyebrow. "What?" She blurted out crossing her arms."You started it, so don't blame me."
"But you threw the strawberry to Serena's head," Dawn countered.
I looked between them as they continued bickering about who started. Eventually, I had enough.
"Girls, stop it," I yelled as they automatically stopped.
"We are so so-"They said.
"You're having a food fight without me,"I interrupted." No fun." I pouted.
"Wait," White questioned. "What?"
"You approve?" Dawn asked.
"How old do you think I am? sixty?" I asked as I picked up two aerosol whipped cream. "I give you guys ten seconds headstart."
"FOOD FIGHT!" They yelled as they ducked behind the counter and ran to the living room. I stuffed the two aerosol whipped cream in my pockets and I closed my eyes, grinning.
"No cupcake," I yelled dramatically. "You were too delicious to be wasted like this," I cried as I heard giggles behind the couch."IT'S WAR!" I shouted.
I ran towards the couch and leaned over it, I grinned seeing Dawn kneeled down holding a tube of powdered sugar to her chest. Ï hold the pack of flour above her head."Heads up," I yelled as I dropped the pack of flour on her. She jumped up, standing straight as she dusted the flour off her clothes and her hair.
"Serena," She yelled as I laughed out loud.
"What's wrong get too dirty now, snow white?" I teased as I continued laughing. Then I felt a fluid go down my face. I jumped towards Dawn as I saw White standing there smirking, holding a bottle of chocolate sauce.
I gasped as the chocolate sauce went down my cheek. I glared at her. "Why you little-" I said, but trailed off as I felt something on my head.
"Don't forget the cherry on top," Dawn teased as I turned around.
"Oh you guys are so -" I stopped as Dawn threw a hand of powdered sugar, I closed my eyes, I felt a tingle in my nose and sneezed. I groaned as I opened my eyes. They were gone, I smirked, I still had my secret weapon."Where are you?" I said as I looked behind every couch, even under the dining table. I sighed as I put my hands on my hips. Where are they? I walked towards the entrance from the living room. When I came there I heard steps, I grinned as I backed myself against the wall. I took the cap of the aerosol whipped cream, giving a small 'pop'. I stood still waiting for the shadows on the floor to appear. 1,2,3, GO!
I turned around, pressing the push button, giving them it right in their faces, I had to close my eyes as the whipped cream, almost hit my face. I stopped and blew on the top of aerosol whipped cream then put them back cowboy-style in my pocket. I closed my eyes, grinning in satisfaction. "Payback" I yelled, but then I heard giggles. I opened my eyes, I looked in front of me seeing two men standing there, there faces and jackets covered in whipped cream. My eyes widened. What are they doing here?
"Ash," I screamed as I looked at Ash and then turned to."Gary,"
"Wow," Ash breathed out as he whipped the cream off his face with his sleeve. "didn't expect this,"
"Me neither," Gary said as he did the same as Ash.
Ash licked his lips."Mmm," I exclaimed."whipped cream,"
I looked at the two guys who are cleaning their clothes and faces."What the heck are you doing here?" I screamed.
"Ashy-boy wanted to talk to you," Gary said as he gestured to his left. Ash nodded.
"Ashy-boy?" I questioned, but I shook my head." Never mind, How did you get in? And how did you know where I live?"
"GPS and," Ash said as he and Gary stepped aside, showing Dawn and White.
"Hé," They said as they waved awkwardly.
"Why in the world would you let two random strangers in my house?!" I ask.
"We aren't strangers," Ash said.
"Shut up," I snapped as I glared at him. I turned back to the girls."Well,"
"We are friends" Dawn shrugged. I hit my head with my hand as I walked towards the couch in the living room. I leaned forward in my hands.
"What a small world," I mumbled as they all sat down."Give me one reason why I shouldn't kick you out when I had the chance," I said as I sat up, raising an eyebrow at the two males.
"Don't look at me, look at him," Gary said as he pointed at Ash.
"I wanted to talk to you and apologize," Ash said nervously.
"Oh yeah," I said as I crossed my arms."For what?"
"Can I tell you that in private?" He asked as he eyed at the rest.
I groaned and sat up. "Follow me,"I mumbled as he stood up. He walked after me as we headed towards the backyard."This better be worth it,"
